They are the rudest, most condescending dental office I have ever visited. They try their hardest to separate parents from the children so that parents don't know what's going on during appointments. If you ask questions they make you feel stupid and talk down to you. They tell you that you have to use their "lingo" in the office and now make you sign a paper agreeing to it! For example, If you say "pulled" tooth or ask questions about the procedure their eyes get big and they get visibly angry. On one of our visits the dentist finished the exam and then casually said, "we're going to send that tooth to the tooth fairy." I was a bit taken back and said, "I'm sorry, does that mean you think you need to pull this tooth?" And he snapped at me and said, "what do you THINK that means?!" I have never, ever been treated like this by a dentist before and after 2.5 years of dealing with interactions like this by their entire staff, we've had enough and don't trust any of their recommendations. Definitely go elsewhere!

I was told at the end of May that a refund check would be sent to me. I had a filling done back in May and I paid the amount they estimated I would owe. Got the bill from the insurance and I should have only paid half the amount that was estimated. No big deal. I called and was told my card would be refunded or a check would be sent. Two months later- Nothing! The sad part is this is not the first time this has happened. Back in 2016 I had to have a filling and the same thing happened. Same amount of money stolen from me because they claimed the insurance would not pay as much as they actually did. They even went after my dad for money for my account. I have dental insurance and my cleanings are fully covered. My dad was told I had an outstanding balance. First, I am a grown adult. They should not be telling my dad anything. Second, I never received a bill in the mail and they have never charged me for dental cleanings in the 5 years I have had my own insurance. I am going to call tomorrow and give them another chance to make this right. As of now they have overcharged me about $130 over the past 2 years and I am not happy about it.

Since they know how to treat young children, my son has never known fear whenever going to the dentist. Even at his age now, he still misses rummaging through their toy box at the end of his visits, to leave with some little bauble as his prize. All of us have experienced nothing but the utmost knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and friendly care. Although there have been many opportunities to do procedures that would have greatly enhanced their profit margin, they have always spared us unnecessary dental work, and have gone out of their way to preserve and improve our teeth and gums. One of the dentists on staff even worked on an unusual dental problem I had on her own time and free of charge. The dental hygienists here, most notably, Jill, are absolutely top-notch. They are thorough, knowledgeable, very friendly, and put you at ease, while finding the best ways to minimize pain and discomfort. The reception and office staff are also the best, always remembering us with a smile. It almost feels like visiting with family when we go there!

There aren't that many reviews on Yelp for this dentist but it seems that from when these bad…read morereviews have started which is FAR back, you can see NOTHING has changed regarding the staff, the experience and the lack of cleanliness. First of all, this was our first visit since my son chipped his tooth. I try to make make to much judgement over a phone call if I don't get a pleasant person since hey, we all have bad days. I set up the appt and when we got there, it was in a older building and the front door to the place made me even question if I was the right door. Sorry, but in a day like today where I know I pay top dollar in my insurance I expect a unquestionable appearance. Old and dirty inside, glad this wasn't for my 5 year old because I wouldn't be able to keep him from touching everything that im going to make a safe bet, doesn't get wiped down. Receptionist was on the phone for 5 minutes before acknowledging me. After check in, I was trying to get work done in my email and there was zero service. So I asked the receptionist if there was wifi and she whispered to me that they wont give her the wifi password and ask her why does she need it. SMH if this is my first impression, maybe second, let me go on. I believe we sat there for 20 minutes before getting seated and another 10 in back before the dentist came to visit. First of all, im not a fan of going to a dentist that have chairs lined up where work is done in the open in front of other patients. Thankfully, my son was the only one scheduled at the time. As I sat there observing, it felts dirty& cluttered. I was truly nervous about the work that needed to be done on my son. I had to leave the office and call my husband who found this place and share how disgusted I was of it. If there is one thing I EXPECT when it comes to any kind of DR office is CLEANILESS!!!! This office was old and grungy and looking at the equipment it did not look clean either. I question how office they keep anything clean there. Sure, they have sterile machines that I saw the girls doing their thing banging things around and putting stuff away because everything is in the open. DR finally came to examine my son, she was nice but said she needed to take X-Rays, I said we sent you copies of them from his first dental visit and she said they were blurry. Now looking at the old reviews I bet she was just looking to make a charge. But thankfully that's all the work she could do since it was out of her wheel to be able to take on the next steps. I was so grateful and ran out of that place feeling disgusting. Called a friend to share the experience and funny enough, as she heard my story she shared the same experience from this same place a few years back. Next major complaint, I set up a appt with the dentist they suggested (did my homework and they seemed right up my alley). They were clean and professional! Unfortunately, All Family dental did not respond to my email and forward the xray to the new dental office and at this point I had to many xrays taken and cant afford them without insurance covering so I told the new office I will call All Family Dental again. First call, the lady asked if I filled out a waiver while in the office to share the xray. Excuse me? What? No! No one suggested I should fill one out and let me remind you we live in a day that even old school fax is used in every office OR if you caught up on the modern world, which every business should be you can send it by email. But no, she said I had to come in and that was unacceptable to me so I asked to speak with someone else who then picked up the phone, wrestled with it and hung up. Called back, I said I did not appreciate getting hung up on and they said it was the answering service and she would transfer me to the front desk, same thing happened...hung up. Im livid at this point, extreamly unprofessional. I call back, calmly but sternly tell them im in no mood at this point to play games, im not driving there to sign a paper that they could have told me to sign since they recommended me to this dentist and they could have called me back when I left the message to handle it prior. The lady on the phone sent me the xray to the dentist email and I thought it was over from that point but they sent me a xray that didnt belong to my son. So all this commotion because of privacy they send me someone elses xray!!! My experience with the recommended dentist was amazing but this place is a joke and I will copy and paste my experience to share in any place a review can be posted.

I can still recall the day I was told my three-year-old required extensive dental work. He had…read morefallen and developed an abscess on his front baby tooth that required an extraction. As a mother, and a woman, I immediately succumbed to an irrational set of beliefs: (a) this situation was completely my fault and (b) my child's social life was doomed. After consulting several pediatric dentists, Dr. Hanson was the obvious choice not only because of her impressive educational background but her constant professionalism. She is not only highly educated but extremely personable as well; a combination of traits that is not always present in this field of work. She sat down and actually explained to me the reasoning behind the need for the extraction and talked me through what the process would involve. Her confidence, knowledge, and compassion immediately won me over. Moreover, I particularly liked that she provided me with the option of bringing in an anastegologist to her office- essentially not only saving me hospital fees but, more importantly, providing a setting my son would be familiar with. Even more surprisingly, they even closed the office for the morning which made the experience far more personal. I had chosen to bring in an anastegologist due to my son's age and the work he had to have done. This was not an easy decision, but my husband and I could not have asked for a better group of people to perform all of this on our son. Everyone on the staff, right down to the receptionists that greeted us at the door, did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcome. When you walk into the office there are childhood pictures of Dr. Hanson and her entire staff in frames on the wall: a reminder that we were all children once and that going to the dentist can sometimes be a little scary. I was able to show my son her picture and explain that like him, Dr. Hanson was little once too. Four hours post op, I couldn't believe how rapid his recovery was. One would never believe that just hours before he was completely sedated. He did not complain of any pain whatsoever. He even was able to walk out of the office on his own. Dr. Hanson and the staff at Dayspring greatly exceeded my expectations. They made the entire experience significantly easier. My son experienced minimal, if any, pain at all. Dr. Hanson followed up with us later that day and was readily available if we had any problems or concerns- which we didn't. At our follow up appointment, my son was not afraid to go back and seemed to have no recollection of the actual procedure. I credit Dr. Hanson's professionalism and skill but, I would be lying if I didn't mention the fun toy that he got to pick out at the end of his visit. Dr. Hanson also gave me tips and tricks on how to be most effective when it comes to brushing teeth. She showed me different positions I could place my son in to make sure that I could reach every spot. She even provided me with a special fluoride toothpaste to help given the tiny size of my son's mouth. Needless to stay, although the drive is over forty minutes from our house, we definitely have made Dayspring Pediatrics our first choice when it comes to our children's dental health. I realize this review is on the longer side, and I apologize for that. However, for parents, especially ones that are looking for a dentist that can perform exceptional work beyond the routine teeth cleaning, I hope this helps. Picking a dentist for your child is not an easy decision. I never write reviews but I genuinely felt that I would be doing a major injustice to this office and everyone that works there if I didn't take the time to thank and acknowledge them for helping us through a difficult time. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist that encompasses professionalism, extensive experience and knowledge, but most importantly- genuine family values, look no further. I assure you that after the visit you will want to post a review as well. It's refreshing to see that there are practices still out there that care more about the child than the money. Thank you Day Spring. It's nice to see my son have his smile back.
