I had to cancel an appointment and the receptionist screaming at me while my girl was hospitalized that I should have called 48 hours to cancel and that I have to pay 50 dollars of cancelation I told her that my girl was I. The hospital but she reply that that wasn't an excuse that I should have called anyway. I complained and I was assured that they were going to talk to the receptionist so I let it go but I told the supervisor that my girl is constantly in the hospital and that i cannot control those situations with her fragile health I was assured again that that won't happen again that they do understand, last week unfortunately my girl caught and infection and the pediatrician send me to ER on the day of my appointment I called next day and they rescheduled me the day of the visit I woke up with 100.2 of fever; trying to be responsible I called the office to ask if it was OK for me to take my kids to the dentist because I have fever and I was lecture again that that was the second time that I cancel and cannot be happening I told her that I wasn't canceling but merely asking if there won't be any problem because I am sick and right in front of the office is a post telling you if you have symptoms don't ho to the office but anyway I went to the office and before procedure I ask to talk to the doctor... I explained what happened and she told pretty much that they don't care that they don't wanna lose their time like that that they are only afew pediatric dentist around I told her that her receptionist threatened ne twice and she told me that I was lying that her receptionist was very nice I told her that even one of her assistant told me that indeed the receptionist was very rude sometimes and she replied again that she didn't believe it anyway they think they are the only place around and they constantly remind you that never going back there I need understanding people that can deal with kids like mine

I will find someone else to finish the work they were suppose to do in the last two visits. Keep having you come back, so they can keep charging you. NOT GENTLE AND THE DONT CARE!!!!

Four days after the procedure, the area began bleeding and appeared swollen. I paged the doctor after hours to ask for guidance because the bleeding was not stopping. Initially, I was told to see if the bleeding would stop and to follow up in a couple of weeks. However, after several hours of continued bleeding, I called again and expressed that I did not feel this was normal. The doctor agreed to see my son after hours, which I did appreciate. However, the visit itself was very stressful for both my child and me. My son was frightened and in pain during the procedure. When he said that it hurt, the response was that it shouldn't hurt because the area was numbed. As a parent, it was very difficult to see my child distressed and feel that his pain concerns were not being taken seriously. During the procedure there also seemed to be some complications, including an instrument breaking while the work was being done, which added to the anxiety of the situation. I felt uncomfortable that I was being asked what I wanted done rather than being clearly guided on what the best clinical step would be. I understand that complications can occur in dentistry, especially with children, and I do appreciate that the doctor came in after hours. However, the communication, bedside manner, and overall experience left me feeling uneasy and not confident returning for future care. Because of this experience, I personally would not feel comfortable bringing my child back or recommending this office for pediatric dental care.

Outstanding Dental Office!…read more Dr. Mesrobian is a great dentist because he cares about his patients and makes them feel comfortable. His passion for the dental profession and people sets him apart from others. He did a great job on my routine exams. In addition, I have had crown and root canal work performed with a high degree of both comfort during the procedures and also the ongoing performance afterwards. His areas of expertise are substantial and I highly recommend his practice.

Came to Dr. Walia for a cleaning/bi-annual checkup. Upon arrival, I was informed she had no…read morehygienist, which was shocking to me. I naively didn't realize it wasn't always standard to have one. The polishing she did was no more than 30 seconds, only to the exterior of my teeth. I was informed I had a few cavities and Dr. Walia scheduled me for an appointment to get them filled. At this appointment, she only filled one of these cavities (it was not intensive, maybe 15 minutes in-and-out) and informed me she'd be scheduling me for another appointment for the rest, explaining that she didn't want to numb both sides of my mouth and risk me biting my tongue. That's reasonable. I arrived for the next appointment. Dr. Walia's assistant (who she actively degraded throughout my first two appointments) was absent and her receptionist filled in. It's unclear if the receptionist had any training... Again, this was a quick appointment: in and out. The cavity was so minor that we agreed not to use novocain. Yet, I was told I'd have to make yet another appointment for the next cavity. This was scheduled this upcoming Monday, despite my frustration with the process. Just wanted to get it over with. Today, I received a call from Dr. Walia herself, asking to reschedule due to staffing. We agreed on a new date and I did express my frustrations regarding the process. We disconnected and I soon received a text and a call back from Dr. Walia, stating she could keep my original appointment. I expressed concern due to her staffing issues on that date and requested to keep the rescheduled time. Dr. Walia continued to push that she could do the filling on the original appointment date, despite previously indicating she didn't have proper help. At that point, I requested she cancel my appointment and forward me my X-rays from the initial appointment via email so I can continue with a more appropriate dentist. I guess we'll see if I even get those... In providing my email to Dr. Walia, she realized she was not speaking with the patient she had thought she was talking to, noting in surprise that I was not a woman named "Julia." I only hope that her attention to detail holds up better in her dental work.

Dartmoor Dental is the first place where I actually feel comfortable going. Specifically Becky the dental hygenist was amazing today. After my last experience of being lectured for the majority of the appointment by the hygenist, I left upset and was hesitant to follow through on going to make my next cleaning appointment. Becky was knowledgeable, caring, realistic and made this experience so easy. I will for sure be making all my future appointments with her! I went in today for…read morea routine cleaning, but after wasting 20 minutes of my morning, they flat-out refused to provide any service because I declined dental x-rays. I made it clear I didn't want or feel the need for x-rays, and as a patient, it's my right to refuse them--plain and simple. Informed consent and patient autonomy are basic rights in healthcare, yet this office treated me like I had no say. They wouldn't even perform the cleaning without forcing x-rays on me first. No real explanation beyond "policy," no discussion of alternatives, and zero respect for my decision. This feels like nothing more than a blatant cash grab--pushing unnecessary radiation exposure and extra billing instead of focusing on actual patient care. The staff couldn't (or wouldn't) explain anything properly; they just see patients as dollar signs. Poor communication, zero empathy, and a complete disregard for patient rights. Signature Dental Group (and their "gentle" approach--ironic) is a joke. I will never return, and I strongly advise anyone reading this to go elsewhere. Find a dentist who actually listens to patients and respects their choices instead of strong-arming them into procedures. Save your time and money--avoid this place at all costs.
