This place has so much potential. What I loved the most is the fact that's it a black owned business. Just some words of advice. If you're running a business do not mix business with pleasure. The owners of the place had their teenage son assisting them. He did not seem like he wanted to be there. His facial expression said at all. The father yelled at him to not play with the basketballs and he walked off with a very stinky attitude! One of the owners, the gentleman wasn't very kind to the kids and didn't seem like he was aware that kids make noise. Every few minutes, he'd tell the him to be quiet. Came to Kidooloo with our 14 month old son on a Thursday afternoon around 11:00. I called before hand to check on the times because the website encourages you to call in advance to assure space availability. Staff said $15 per child and free for parents. I was told they open at 9:00am and that there was a class going on but we could play from 11:00 to 1:00pm or 2:00pm to 4:00pm When we arrived I was told crib shoes are ok while kids play, but walking shoes must be removed. I highly encourage you to bring non-skid socks for your kids unless you don't mind them getting a little dirt on their feet. I mean it is a playground after all. The place is perfect for toddlers, our son loved going up and down the slides, playing with the wall units, picking veggies from the little veggie section, making ice cream, all while playing the piano on and off (Don't get excited these are play toys no real food was mismanaged). There's also a fun play area with lights that had cool games that are interactive to kids allowing them to for example cyber kick a ball or play piano keys with their feet. There's fun music playing at all times and a counter to take a break and eat. Some snacks and beverages are sold there nothing big though. I noticed they have a laser tag room and a couple of rooms to book parties in, but we came for the toddler fun and we left very happy. I would give it fewer stars, but the kids did have fun doing Laser Tag. However, the minimum you can book for a birthday party is 15. But they only have 16 vests. We had 17 kids, so there were 6 kids on each team & 5 "observers" without vests. I understand they don't want just 1 kid to be an observer. Still this doesn't make a lot of sense to me. If the minimum is 15, they should probably have 20 vests. The answer when we questioned this was that it was on the website. Great, at least the idiotic policy is disseminated to the public. Next, we wanted just laser tag. If you only have 1 activity, you can't have food. Not brought in by you, not catered by them, nothing. I'm not sure what the rationale is there. The staff was great and helpful but I wouldn't recommend based on these policies. read more

My son attended a party here a few months ago. He came home and said that is was the best party he had ever been to and insisted he wanted to have his next birthday party at Kidoolo. I booked his party on line. I had a couple of questions, they called me immediately with answers. The whole process was easy to book. We even had a lot of kids unable to make it and the owner said she'd allow us to change dates. I really appreciated their flexibility. The facility is beautiful and absolutely spotless. The food was great, and the goody bags were a huge hit. I would highly recommend Kidoolo to anyone, perfect for ages 6-tween. read more

Had my sons 2nd birthday party here recently. Checked it out 3 months prior and knew it was the perfect place for the party. (Very clean, open and airy etc.) Booked the party months before and did not get a phone call from them until just a few days before the party which made me very nervous. The owner and I discussed all the details in length and she told me since it was a large party about 80 people including kids we would get both party rooms. **fyi they only give you 15 minutes to set up for your party which is no time at all when your bringing in tons of decorations, cake etc. When I got to the location to set up there was a party in the front room that were just blowing out the bday cake candles. I was a bit confused as to how my party was starting in 15 measly minutes and there was another party in there. When the other women working there told me I only had 1 party room I tried not to get worked up and just go with the flow. It was about 20 minutes into the party and there were no party hosts (we had 2) helping out or showing the kids the activities. I had to go to the front desk and say something even had to ask them to turn on the music. 30 minutes or so into the party the owner brought out all of the pizza pies into the main play space. As the pizza was being handed out she told people they can't eat in the jungle gym area. People started taking slices and walking around. I saw this right away and went to her and said the pizza is for everyone once we get into the party room. She said oh well some people like it this way. (If that was the case then why would she have not asked me on the phone or when I first got to the location how I would like everything done.) Once we got into the cramped party room I had to go and start handing out all of the food. No one helped until they finally noticed and offered serving spoons. They set up the kids pizza slices & juice boxes on each plate which was very nice but never even brought in the adult pies. They were left in the hallway. I was left with about 7 pies because people didn't know where it went after they took it away earlier everyone assumed we ran out of pies. They had no table set up for gifts which normally there always is. People kept asking me where to put them. The staff took them behind the front desk. For a party space that has been open for a full year I find these little but important mistakes a bit amateur. We paid a lot of money to have a great ORGANIZED party. As the party was over and people were saying goodbye there was already another party going on. I get it they want to make the most money possible but the overlap is unfair and needs to be spaced out better. All and all we did not let the party get ruined and had a terrific time. It really is ashame because it is a great space with tons of exciting things for children to do! This review is not to bash The play space it's to help them improve because they definitely have the right formula for success!!! read more

I had a daughter's 4th birthday party a few weeks ago and boy were we super impressed! Staff were most helpful throughout all of the setup and during the party they did a great job with keeping the kids entertained. Even with a group of 4 to 6 year olds! The laser tag area were we did a scavenger hunt looked AMAZING! The adults enjoyed it as much as the kids! The place is super clean and has a chic, modern decor which can go with any party theme. Great party place for children. Had my 8 year-old son's birthday party there and all his friends had a blast- total of 15 boys. Trish greeted us and got all the boys outfitted quickly for laser tag (after ensuring all parents signed the waiver). The boys loved playing laser tag for 30 minutes and then getting to play the arcade games- was a perfect birthday party. Pizza was yummy and Trish and her employees did all the set up and clean up. Very easy experience for parents and fun experience for children- couldn't get better than that! read more

Very disorganized, chaotic, with limited leadership from party helpers, little organized activities for the kids and the activities that were planned where not well managed or did not occur at all. The overall impression is staff did not seem prepared to handle this event. Below are only some of the issues that occurred. 1. Room was not set up when we arrived, half way through the party the cupcakes and cake pops were not put out by party helpers to display for photographer. I took it upon myself to set them up cupcakes/cake pops with a help of a guest. 2. When we arrived owner/staff seemed stressed and scrambling to set up as well as clean up from previous event. 3. I was notified when we arrived the order of events changed from our original conversation. Which was originally painting craft, then splitting up the kids into two groups by dancing and scavenger hunt to free play in the beginning, then scavenger hunt then to craft and finally dance party. My assumption based on what I saw was that the craft room was not ready due to the previous event and staff was cleaning up. Hence unavailable to start activities with our guests. 4. At 3:59 I asked the party helper for tokens for guests to play games so they had something to do while waiting for direction from party helpers on activities. I was informed by the party helper that the guests had to wait until the party started for tokens and I was not given tokens. She verbally said to me "you have one minute until the party starts". Hence guests stood around waiting for guidance on activities or used their own money to play games. 4. It wasn't until 30 minutes after party started that an organized activity took place, which was the first scavenger hunt. During the scavenger hunt crowns, star wands, batman masks and superhero flutes (all bought by me) were not in laser tag room. I later found the bag on the counter, unpacked with tags on them. Myself and my mom took off tags and started to unpack the prizes and hand them out to kids. Also no princess or superhero cut outs were in the scavenger hunt (promised by owner as party of package). As discussed previously I was bringing the glow sticks, etc as extra items for the kids to find. Owner saw me unpacking bag asked what I was doing but did not offer to assist and instead walked away 6. Dance party was not set up before kids entered into room ie: music was not on, balloons were not in there). There was only shouting by the owner that the dance party was going to start and only half of the kids went into the room. The other kids remained at the video games and interactive floor for more free play. I never saw an attempt to get a second group of kids go into the dance room (owner later admitted 2nd group never was taken in). 6. Parachute was mentioned by party helper to kids. I saw her take it out of the back room but it was not played with kids. (owner later said it was broken so again they were not prepared to preform an activity). Instead a blow up ring toss and tunnel were taken out, no announcement to group that an activity was happening so not all joined in or knew of the event. 7. No games were played with kids or organized by party planner beside ring toss/tunnel. We discussed during my tour hot potato, bubbles and parachute would be played. 8. Glow necklaces, bracelets, wands were put in scavenger hunt but the crowns, balls, super hero flutes were not (some of these items have never been found or returned by Kidaloo). I had suggested to owner during our call a week prior to party that I drop off all of the items for the scavenger hunt ahead of party and was told not to and assured it would be taken care of the day of. 9. Song for the dance party was not age appropriate, I would assume music such as Disney Princess songs or Super Hero songs to go along with theme (Frozen, Moana, or Simon Says, Happy & You Know it). Kids lost interest and second group not brought into dance room (owner later admitted there was not a second attempt bc kids were at video games). 10, While kids were crafting a few kids got up to go to the bathroom and paint was taken away while they were gone. Parents came up to me asking for more paint when they returned, no party helper was in the room to assist with providing more paint. I could go on... 10% refund, another party at 50% off or free party for 10 friends was offered by owner when I followed up. I received $150.00 of 1800.00 for total cost of party (not including $300.00 deposit). Lost items never found or returned. We were not interested in having another event at Kidaloo based on our experience so passed on the free and 50% off party. All of the events I have listed above (and more) caused me stress during the party and took me away from my daughter, family and friends due to the lack of confidence that occurred during the event in the Kidaloo Staff. This party was much more expensive than other party events spaces at $55.00 per child, it was not worth it. read more

We had a party for my son here on a Friday afternoon. The space is beautiful and lofty and there are activities for the little kids who are too young to play laser tag or video games. I thought it was quite expensive. 24 kids cost close to $900 for an hour and a half. This included laser tag for 30 minutes, video games for 30 minutes and pizza and cake for 30 minutes. The owners run the show, which is good and bad. They care a lot about the operations of the parties, but they're not all great at being with kids. During the party room phase of our party, when the kids started getting loud, the hostess yelled to get them quiet. I figure there's got to be a better way to settle kids down and someone in the kid business should know what it is...?. Then, when my son's best friend, who had his feelings hurt and sat outside of the party room during pizza, finally came back into the room for the trivia game, he was told by this hostess that she wouldn't call on him because he sat outside of the room during pizza. He said, "but that's my best friend...". It was sad. Overall, the business might benefit from being a little more like the more common, pedestrian places we're all used to. Hire some kids who are great with little ones, lower the prices a bit and just relax. It's supposed to be fun. read more

Just had my son's 9th birthday party here today and it went perfectly! I live locally and had seen Kidoolo in passing but had not realized they offered laser tag until I googled Laser Tag in my area. Was pleasantly surprised when I visited Kidoolo to find a pristine, modern laser tag and gaming space. Today's party was a huge success due to the attention to detail of owner, Trish, and her staff. Comments from the moms focused on the large size, cleanliness, modern decor and sunlit party rooms. My son had a blast. Small details that I loved were the beautiful way the favors and cupcakes were displayed, the colorful party decor, the sanitary way in which food was served and the pristine laser tag environment as well as game room. I'm thrilled my son had such a wonderful time and happier still we get to go back to more parties soon since my son's friends want to have their parties here as well. Great space!!! read more

I had my daughter's 11th birthday party here in June and it was wonderful. The space is great; open, airy and clean. The party rooms are a good size and were very comfortable. In the main space there is some seating for parents. The activities were very fun. We had never played laser tag before and were concerned some kids may not like it. I'm happy to report our group of girls absolutely loved it! So much fun! The game room and the main open play space were also terrific and gave everyone something to do throughout the party. I can't say enough about Trish and her team. I arrived at the wrong time (early) for our party convinced Trish had the wrong time. I was in fact the one who was confused and got the time wrong in my calendar (thankfully our invitations were correct, I had put the wrong time in my iCal). Trish did not trivialize any of the details, she immediately looked to accommodate us and made the best of the situation in a professional and friendly manner. Once I realized I had made a mistake we all exhaled and I was beyond grateful to Trish for handling the situation the way she did. Her team were accommodating to our friends with special needs in the laser tag room and managed the party with ease and efficiency. Our friends and family had a wonderful time and I look forward to returning for laser tag and future parties. I highly recommend Kidoolo! read more

I had my sons video and laser tag party here in Jan 2018 and I was super impressed! Staff were outstanding and professional. Lovely reception and greeting to all the guests who arrived. Came here with 6 boys for a one hour laser tag game, the boys had so much fun, the owner herself entertained the boys and was extremely nice. I waited in the playground inside the place with my 4 yr old since she can't play laser tag yet . She had so much fun as well. read more
