Both of our sons have attended Lullaboo Maple since 2013. One is 4 years (going to JK and still…read moreparticipating in After School program in Lullaboo Maple) and the other one is 2.5 years and is in Pre-school now. We have enrolled them to Lullaboo since they were one year old, starting from infant room, then Toddler room and all the way to Pre-school and Before/After school program. We have had a chance to get to know most of their staff over the past 4 years :) Staff are very friendly, caring and courteous. The centre is kept very clean. Their chef is a nice lady who prepares fresh meal on a daily basis for all the rooms with extra caution for those who have food restrictions. They provide fresh & nutritious food and fruits. The centre opens early at 7 and closes late at 6.30pm which is great. My kids have learned a lot of stuff in Lullaboo childcare and we have enjoyed seeing them that every day they learn something new. They have shown interest in watching French cartoons (because of French class in Lullaboo) and they sing different rhymes every now and then both in English and French. We get the daily report and know what has happened on a daily basis, what our sons have eaten, learned, etc. the only downside of the report is that the font is very small for checking emails from a computer, but it is ideal for checking by mobile. Overall, We are very happy about our choice to enrol our sons in Lullaboo Maple and I highly recommend them to everyone. I'd also like to thank and appreciate all the staff because of their hard work.

We believe that all children have the right to quality care and education in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment. Lullaboo’s environment facilitates learning opportunities while supporting social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of children. Our philosophy is based on child development principles, centering on the concept of interaction and exploration during play as a natural way of learning. As children interact with materials and their peers, they clarify and extend their understanding of the world. This also encourages children to become responsible, productive, problem solving individuals, capable of independence and self-regulation.

We've went through various daycares in the area before signing up with Kids&Company. I even…read moredropped by few times to make sure what I saw during our tour was what you'd actually get. The site is very well maintained and extremely clean. The meals and snacks are carefully planned by a nutritionists who incorporate diverse menu (fish, tofu, various ethnic menus like pad thai) that incorporates seasonal veggies and fruits. I cannot say enough about the staff though - they truly love what they do and it shows. From the day we started transitioning my little one at 12 months, all the teachers have shown nothing but love and care. They make sure each child is engaged and cared for and I am always grateful for all the work that they do with the children. The webcam access to the room is also a bonus (it came really handy during the first few weeks when it was just as much of a transition period for me as it was for my child - I may have spent a good chunk of my day watching/weeping/laughing). Another added bonus is how responsive the head-office is to suggestions. Parents are encouraged to give feedback and suggestions and they are very responsive to parents' inputs. The weekly newsletter also allows us to know what my little one has been learning so that we can reinforce some of the things at home (ex. songs or books that they have been learning). Kids and Company really is as good as it gets in terms of daycare :)

I highly recommend Kids & Company to any parent looking for a full-time daycare for their child. We…read moreenrolled both our sons at the Finch and Yonge location and have been extremely pleased with the results. Our oldest (now in SK) moved on to full-day kindergarten and has excelled with the help of the preschool learning he received from the Kids & Co. team. The staff are always very friendly and considerate and always look forward to seeing my older son return to visit them. My youngest son is 3 years old and is currently attending the Preschool class at Kids & Co. Finch. He started off slowly with his language skills but since being at Kids & Co. he has quickly picked it up and is now able to communicate very well for his age. He is very engaged and interested in learning and this is because the staff at Kids & Company make learning fun. The site also offers a delicious and healthy meal plan that keeps the children energized throughout the day as well as regular outdoor play, as weather permits. The rooms are well-kept and there are usually two staff members in the preschool room, which helps keep things manageable and allows the preschoolers to receive special, individual attention, as needed. An added bonus is that the whole facility has recently been renovated and it really looks fantastic. The children are encouraged to play together and are taught to respect one another which in turn enables them to create lasting friendships, even at an early age. In fact, my older son still has play dates and attends birthday parties for friends he met at Kids & Company. My wife and I have been thrilled with the service and staff at Kids & Company - Finch. From the Site Lead, Stephanie, to all the staff members, they go out of their way to ensure that there is always open communication regarding our children, so that we can nurture and develop them together as a team. They are always courteous and professional when addressing any concerns or when relaying information regarding our child. My wife and I are very happy with our decision to send both our boys to Kids & Company and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a top quality daycare to put their child into.

Don't send your kids here, there are plenty of other better options. Here's a few reasons why:…read more 1. The "teachers" are very poor and barely seem to even watch the children. Countless times when I came to pick my child up they'd be sitting on radiator vent or desk or chair just chatting away while kids ran around yelling and screaming with next to no order. Other times the kids would be sitting around watching an iPad while the teachers chatted away in the corner. 2. My son often mentioned that one of his teachers yelled at him and other children. 3. My son would constantly come home with cuts and bruises that the teachers would have no explanation for. In one instance, I came to pick him up and his finger was bleeding. I showed it to the teacher and she said she didn't see it and he never said anything. How can you not notice a kid is bleeding when it's supposed to be 1 teacher to every 4 kids? 4. On another occasion, on a cold winter day, I picked my son up and his gloves, jacket and pants were covered in dirt. I asked him what happened and he told me another child threw dirt on him. I asked the teacher about it and she told me she didn't see it happen, but did see my son playing in the dirt with the child. My son was 3 at the time, so I grant that his explanation may not have been accurate, but here the teacher is telling me that she does nothing as two kids cover themselves in dirt, and doesn't bother to change their clothes afterward. For the entire year my child was here he was miserable at every drop off and beyond relief at every pick up. Other kids who were there during this time behaved the same. My son absolutely hated going to school. Now that we've changed to a different daycare, he runs into his class, has made dozens of new friends, and is able to write letters, count to one hundred, knows all the continents, and can say quite a few things in French.
