Both of our sons have attended Lullaboo Maple since 2013. We have enrolled them to Lullaboo since they were one year old, starting from infant room, then Toddler room and all the way to Pre-school and Before/After school program. We have had a chance to get to know most of their staff over the past 4 years :) Staff are very friendly, caring and courteous. The centre is kept very clean. Their chef is a nice lady who prepares fresh meal on a daily basis for all the rooms with extra caution for those who have food restrictions. They provide fresh & nutritious food and fruits. The centre opens early at 7 and closes late at 6.30pm which is great. My kids have learned a lot of stuff in Lullaboo childcare and we have enjoyed seeing them that every day they learn something new. They have shown interest in watching French cartoons (because of French class in Lullaboo) and they sing different rhymes every now and then both in English and French. We get the daily report and know what has happened on a daily basis, what our sons have eaten, learned, etc. the only downside of the report is that the font is very small for checking emails from a computer, but it is ideal for checking by mobile. Overall, We are very happy about our choice to enrol our sons in Lullaboo Maple and I highly recommend them to everyone. I'd also like to thank and appreciate all the staff because of their hard work.

We believe that all children have the right to quality care and education in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment. Lullaboo’s environment facilitates learning opportunities while supporting social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of children. Our philosophy is based on child development principles, centering on the concept of interaction and exploration during play as a natural way of learning. As children interact with materials and their peers, they clarify and extend their understanding of the world. This also encourages children to become responsible, productive, problem solving individuals, capable of independence and self-regulation.

(we went to the one on Steeles & Alness) The staff absolutely loves kids, and has a very high level of experience. They go above and beyond for the kids and families. The teachers have been there forever, showing that they have truly built a great community and staff. My oldest still comes by to say hello because of how much she loves the staff. The food is healthy and carefully prepared by their amazing on-site cook. There is a great program for education that is heads above most daycares that are glorified babysitters. The facility is always clean, fresh, and full of positive energy. They are a standalone building with strict safety protocols and a large dedicated outdoor playground. The staff is highly responsive and responsible. They know each parent and child by name. As someone that deeply values building little kids up (mind, body, and soul) this place does a wonderful job, and anyone would be lucky to have their kids go to this daycare. Thank you to all the teachers and staff. I always tell you myself, but I feel others should know how awesome you are too.

Don't send your kids here, there are plenty of other better options. Here's a few reasons why:…read more 1. The "teachers" are very poor and barely seem to even watch the children. Countless times when I came to pick my child up they'd be sitting on radiator vent or desk or chair just chatting away while kids ran around yelling and screaming with next to no order. Other times the kids would be sitting around watching an iPad while the teachers chatted away in the corner. 2. My son often mentioned that one of his teachers yelled at him and other children. 3. My son would constantly come home with cuts and bruises that the teachers would have no explanation for. In one instance, I came to pick him up and his finger was bleeding. I showed it to the teacher and she said she didn't see it and he never said anything. How can you not notice a kid is bleeding when it's supposed to be 1 teacher to every 4 kids? 4. On another occasion, on a cold winter day, I picked my son up and his gloves, jacket and pants were covered in dirt. I asked him what happened and he told me another child threw dirt on him. I asked the teacher about it and she told me she didn't see it happen, but did see my son playing in the dirt with the child. My son was 3 at the time, so I grant that his explanation may not have been accurate, but here the teacher is telling me that she does nothing as two kids cover themselves in dirt, and doesn't bother to change their clothes afterward. For the entire year my child was here he was miserable at every drop off and beyond relief at every pick up. Other kids who were there during this time behaved the same. My son absolutely hated going to school. Now that we've changed to a different daycare, he runs into his class, has made dozens of new friends, and is able to write letters, count to one hundred, knows all the continents, and can say quite a few things in French.
