Without dishonouring other schools, I have to say that Radiant Way Montessori stands out in many areas. First of all, the teachers here are so passionate, caring and loving! Particularly, Ms. Anahita, the principal, is the kind of person who speaks from her heart, who truly cares about children. I honestly fell in "trust" with this school at the first sight because of her passion, sincerity and knowledge. Secondly, this school offers a true Montessori program. Ms. Anahita is an instructor who trains new Montessori teachers. Both of her daughters are teachers. The classroom is well equipped with authentic Montessori learning tools. During observation, I was amazed to see how engaged all children were at their chosen activities. My son has grown so much socially and academically in this school. I feel really good about sending my son to such an outstanding program! Last but not least, Radiant Way Montessori is always clean and well organized whenever I go. It also has a HUGE backyard, where kids can be kids. Ms. Anahita reinforces the "no sugar, healthy diet" policy, which I love. My son has nutritious lunch and snack daily. To sum up, I can not be happier to choose Radiant Way Montessori as my son's very first school. Now, I have a BIG problem cause next year my son will graduate. My son told me many times .... " I want to stay here FOREVER!" ...

No wonder they have spot and not full.I know a mom who send her 2 kids there now and told me before that her kids didn't learn much compared to Marander Montessi School which she heard from friends teaches the kids way more. This place is not a real Montessor school but run more like a like daycare and still charge the premium Montesorri school rate $$ = $300 more per month than a regular daycare if you include early pick up and late drop off (7:30am to 6pm). She also pushes for you to have grand parents or someone else pick up your kids by 3:30pm and not later (odd). This place also does not seem that organized either when we ask if there is a daily progress report or schedule. Even other daycares provide daily progress report to tell you how your child is doing, what activities did he/she do or learned. Therefore, some Montessori School like this one is not worth the $$$. Might as well send to a regular to daycare and save the extra costs! lol

His dad an i KNEW it will be a disaster because he's never slept anywhere other than in his crib and we made the childcare staff aware of this. This daycare has video surveillance. My husband and I were glued to the camera during lunch and into nap hour. We watched my son repeatedly leaving his cot and being put back. At one point an ECE grabbed him and flopped him onto his cot, pushed him down (pushed his chest and torso down) and then pinned/held him there while he was kicking and screaming. This went on for around 2 minutes (we were later told by investigators who watched the video). I emailed the owner (Angie) and requested a conversation. Amanda wrote me back told me they can't talk and to email them. I wrote them a stern email asking for an explanation of under what circumstance is it ok to push and pin a child down on his first day of daycare to force him to stay laying down. They told me they will investigate the footage and call me in the morning. I never got this call. I followed up with another email requesting a call. I finally got a call in the afternoon and Angie minimized my concern citing that this "ECE has worked there for a year and never had any issues and that she was only holding him down for "literally seconds"" - this is not true. We went on talking and I kept listing other issues we've experienced in just a few short days (daycare staff lying when we saw the truth on video, being generally rough with kids (yanking them by the arm, wtc...) they haven't taken the kids outside all week, no covid protocol, etc...). I got no apology until I deliberately asked for one. Pitiful. I have this entire conversation recorded for anyone who wishes to hear it. In the end I yanked my child out, demanded a refund and they are currently under investigation with the ministry of Ontario and children's aid surfaces.

They strike a great balance between play and education. Even the youngest kids get to paint and make crafts daily. Under the amazing care of site supervisor Candace, the loving and caring staff work very hard. They work as a team, covering each others' classes and making sure each child's needs are met. Candace is the most dedicated and enthusiastic person I have ever met. She takes great care of students, parents and staff. The in-house and field trip programs are fantastic - the kids are exposed to sports (skating and swimming), theatre, arts and crafts (pottery painting), music, nature/conservation all within the school day. The kids are taught to be respectful and polite. Through annual concerts and presentations they develop public speaking skills starting as early as age 3. The summer camp is not as strong as the regular school year, especially for kids older than 4. Price is excellent for the level of care, quality of education and variety of programs offered.

I literally signed her up on the spot. She didn't want to leave and after coming with her on the first day for an hour, she pushed out the door, on her first full day and said, 'go Mama'. I've never seen her more comfortable before in an unfamiliar environment. I genuinely feel they have taken the best care of my daughter in the 1.5 years she attended. I feel like she got 1 on 1 time with teachers on a regular basis, she often came home with braids in her hair or her hair redone after a nap. She learned so much and grew leaps and bounds thanks to her caring teachers. Kate looked forward to pre-school everyday and it was emotional for both us when she graduated. My son will be going to Maple Seed Montessori as well in the coming year. Thanks for being a wonderful place for my child to learn and grow and a place I feel at ease taking them to, knowing they are well cared for.
