Lullaboo Nursery and Childcare Center

Both of our sons have attended Lullaboo Maple since 2013. One is 4 years (going to JK and still…read moreparticipating in After School program in Lullaboo Maple) and the other one is 2.5 years and is in Pre-school now. We have enrolled them to Lullaboo since they were one year old, starting from infant room, then Toddler room and all the way to Pre-school and Before/After school program. We have had a chance to get to know most of their staff over the past 4 years :) Staff are very friendly, caring and courteous. The centre is kept very clean. Their chef is a nice lady who prepares fresh meal on a daily basis for all the rooms with extra caution for those who have food restrictions. They provide fresh & nutritious food and fruits. The centre opens early at 7 and closes late at 6.30pm which is great. My kids have learned a lot of stuff in Lullaboo childcare and we have enjoyed seeing them that every day they learn something new. They have shown interest in watching French cartoons (because of French class in Lullaboo) and they sing different rhymes every now and then both in English and French. We get the daily report and know what has happened on a daily basis, what our sons have eaten, learned, etc. the only downside of the report is that the font is very small for checking emails from a computer, but it is ideal for checking by mobile. Overall, We are very happy about our choice to enrol our sons in Lullaboo Maple and I highly recommend them to everyone. I'd also like to thank and appreciate all the staff because of their hard work.

We believe that all children have the right to quality care and education in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment. Lullaboo’s environment facilitates learning opportunities while supporting social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of children. Our philosophy is based on child development principles, centering on the concept of interaction and exploration during play as a natural way of learning. As children interact with materials and their peers, they clarify and extend their understanding of the world. This also encourages children to become responsible, productive, problem solving individuals, capable of independence and self-regulation.

We've went through various daycares in the area before signing up with Kids&Company. I even…read moredropped by few times to make sure what I saw during our tour was what you'd actually get. The site is very well maintained and extremely clean. The meals and snacks are carefully planned by a nutritionists who incorporate diverse menu (fish, tofu, various ethnic menus like pad thai) that incorporates seasonal veggies and fruits. I cannot say enough about the staff though - they truly love what they do and it shows. From the day we started transitioning my little one at 12 months, all the teachers have shown nothing but love and care. They make sure each child is engaged and cared for and I am always grateful for all the work that they do with the children. The webcam access to the room is also a bonus (it came really handy during the first few weeks when it was just as much of a transition period for me as it was for my child - I may have spent a good chunk of my day watching/weeping/laughing). Another added bonus is how responsive the head-office is to suggestions. Parents are encouraged to give feedback and suggestions and they are very responsive to parents' inputs. The weekly newsletter also allows us to know what my little one has been learning so that we can reinforce some of the things at home (ex. songs or books that they have been learning). Kids and Company really is as good as it gets in terms of daycare :)

I highly recommend Kids & Company to any parent looking for a full-time daycare for their child. We…read moreenrolled both our sons at the Finch and Yonge location and have been extremely pleased with the results. Our oldest (now in SK) moved on to full-day kindergarten and has excelled with the help of the preschool learning he received from the Kids & Co. team. The staff are always very friendly and considerate and always look forward to seeing my older son return to visit them. My youngest son is 3 years old and is currently attending the Preschool class at Kids & Co. Finch. He started off slowly with his language skills but since being at Kids & Co. he has quickly picked it up and is now able to communicate very well for his age. He is very engaged and interested in learning and this is because the staff at Kids & Company make learning fun. The site also offers a delicious and healthy meal plan that keeps the children energized throughout the day as well as regular outdoor play, as weather permits. The rooms are well-kept and there are usually two staff members in the preschool room, which helps keep things manageable and allows the preschoolers to receive special, individual attention, as needed. An added bonus is that the whole facility has recently been renovated and it really looks fantastic. The children are encouraged to play together and are taught to respect one another which in turn enables them to create lasting friendships, even at an early age. In fact, my older son still has play dates and attends birthday parties for friends he met at Kids & Company. My wife and I have been thrilled with the service and staff at Kids & Company - Finch. From the Site Lead, Stephanie, to all the staff members, they go out of their way to ensure that there is always open communication regarding our children, so that we can nurture and develop them together as a team. They are always courteous and professional when addressing any concerns or when relaying information regarding our child. My wife and I are very happy with our decision to send both our boys to Kids & Company and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a top quality daycare to put their child into.

Before we enrolled our child, we have visited, reviewed and interviewed practically all the child…read morecentres in the area. In the end; We have enrolled our youngest son who's now 30 month old, with vaughan kids daycare. Due to his age, he had to be transitioned from one age group class to the next, in a short period of time, something I was not 100% comfortable with at first, but this ended up being a very smooth and unrushed transition, with supervision of the staff members he already knew, starting with short visits at a time, which were stretched out weekly, until he was ready, Due to that, we had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know most of the staff and 2 of the classrooms. He didn't have to wear any silly uniforms (which in my opinion; a 2 year old should not have to do) he got to be him. Our child who originally was extremely uncomfortable, shy and anxious around 'strangers' cried his poor little eyes out for the first little while. BUT Thanks to their 'open' door policy; This child care was the first to allow us as many visits and in class visits as we liked or felt needed, To help our son transition... Thanks to that and the warm hearted staff, Our child warmed up so quickly, to the kids and his teachers, supervisors and the owner, made friends and developed close relationships. In his first weeks, if he felt uncomfortable they took turns, with having him as their 'helper' therefore they would distract him by walking around, visiting the babies and other classes. All children are different, Some of the children who get more homesick then others; including mine, would also get cuddled and rocked when very upset.... They felt love, warmth... Rather then ignoring the child and having him 'adapt' Recently; He not only started eating Independently; he started EATING in general! Perhaps it's their organic menu, perhaps it's their technique... But certainly was never force fed, like other child cares in the area. If my child did not like what was on the menu, he was given options! The staff take preferences and especially allergies very seriously! He also started speaking in full sentences, singing the alphabet recognizing letters, numbers, his name and much more! YES the staff is young, and yes they hire new help when necessary, but the regulars are all there....and they are all so great! Educated, Friendly and knowledgable, at every pick up they give you, your child's break down of his day... And even have a chart of what he ate, how he slept, and bathroom visits ...: My child always comes home clean, fed, changed, and now suddenly potty trained! Yes there have been a few minor hiccups, (with my high standards, like most moms) but it never hurts to speak up, since I'm very specific with how I like my child cared for.... But the staff always respects and understood that. They go for walks, they have an amazing outdoor play area, with patted ground, slides, sand box, basketball nets and lots of toys, the children are always occupied indoor and outdoor with projects, games, singing and small performances,.. My husband or Myself are there daily, and I have never ever seen any of the classrooms use TVs... The staff is so hands on, Even if my child arrives after breakfast they always ask if he is eaten, or would like a snack. If my child prefers his lovey toy, they make sure it's taken care off, if my child prefers one snack over the other they always offer it to him. So far so good !

Avoid at any cost. My son didnt drink a single sip of water the entire week. Staff said its ok.read more
