We really appreciated this and if one thing speaks to a parent more than anything when reaching out to daycare providers or nannies is that professional communication and understanding care goes along way anad can be seen through almost immediately. So I know she has been a challenge to staff but they have been patient, kind and understanding and she loves them. She asks every morning if we can go to daycare. Since attending her manners have improved, she is always singing a new song and has mastered her counting and ABC's. They have offered routine and stability and lots of fun for my wee one. It's nice to get the daily report everyday of what she did and pictures to see what she was doing. The teachers are also always willing to chat and share about her day at pick up time. It's a small program so you know she is getting good individual care and is not lost in the numbers of bigger programs. I love that there are only 2 rooms, and that they interact on special occasions and at the beginning and end of the day. I think getting to be with the "big kids" has been fun and provided a challenge to my daughter. When we arrive and leave, every kid not only knows my daughter but even me. That homey feel is exactly what we needed for our first care experience.

My husband saw our son clearly crying and they changed the information to: " he ate everything" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I am calling child services on this horrible place. SHAME ON YOU CONSUMERS! Please parents make sure you double check before leaving your child in this location or at any of the Kids and Company Daycares. They hide children from cameras when in distressed. The site is very well maintained and extremely clean. The meals and snacks are carefully planned by a nutritionists who incorporate diverse menu (fish, tofu, various ethnic menus like pad thai) that incorporates seasonal veggies and fruits. I cannot say enough about the staff though - they truly love what they do and it shows. From the day we started transitioning my little one at 12 months, all the teachers have shown nothing but love and care. They make sure each child is engaged and cared for and I am always grateful for all the work that they do with the children. The webcam access to the room is also a bonus (it came really handy during the first few weeks when it was just as much of a transition period for me as it was for my child - I may have spent a good chunk of my day watching/weeping/laughing). Another added bonus is how responsive the head-office is to suggestions. Parents are encouraged to give feedback and suggestions and they are very responsive to parents' inputs. The weekly newsletter also allows us to know what my little one has been learning so that we can reinforce some of the things at home (ex. songs or books that they have been learning). Our oldest (now in SK) moved on to full-day kindergarten and has excelled with the help of the preschool learning he received from the Kids & Co. team. My youngest son is 3 years old and is currently attending the Preschool class at Kids & Co. Finch. He started off slowly with his language skills but since being at Kids & Co. he has quickly picked it up and is now able to communicate very well for his age. He is very engaged and interested in learning and this is because the staff at Kids & Company make learning fun. The site also offers a delicious and healthy meal plan that keeps the children energized throughout the day as well as regular outdoor play, as weather permits. The rooms are well-kept and there are usually two staff members in the preschool room, which helps keep things manageable and allows the preschoolers to receive special, individual attention, as needed. An added bonus is that the whole facility has recently been renovated and it really looks fantastic. The children are encouraged to play together and are taught to respect one another which in turn enables them to create lasting friendships, even at an early age. In fact, my older son still has play dates and attends birthday parties for friends he met at Kids & Company. My wife and I have been thrilled with the service and staff at Kids & Company - Finch. This EarlyON center is located at the corner of Birchmount and 14th in a heritage home. This EarlyON location doubles as a daycare center as well and has 2 spare rooms in the back for EarlyON programs. The priority room is given to the location in the attic and secondary room is located on the main floor for the spill over from the attic. Activities are also hosted in either or rooms. The staff are incredibly friendly and many speak Chinese to accommodate the dominant demographic in the area. I'd recommend coming earlier or coming on a weekday to avoid the crowds. The facilities are very welcoming and parents bring meals and snacks for their children as well. The best part is that the center is all free so it gives parents/care givers an opportunity to connect with others and engage in activities for their young ones. Overall, I'd recommend the facility but would advise families to go early as possible and/or go during the weekdays. Their schedule and activities can be found online and offer a range of interactive events for newborns to children 6 years of age.
