We have enrolled them to Lullaboo since they were one year old, starting from infant room, then Toddler room and all the way to Pre-school and Before/After school program. We have had a chance to get to know most of their staff over the past 4 years :) Staff are very friendly, caring and courteous. The centre is kept very clean. Their chef is a nice lady who prepares fresh meal on a daily basis for all the rooms with extra caution for those who have food restrictions. They provide fresh & nutritious food and fruits. The centre opens early at 7 and closes late at 6.30pm which is great. My kids have learned a lot of stuff in Lullaboo childcare and we have enjoyed seeing them that every day they learn something new. They have shown interest in watching French cartoons (because of French class in Lullaboo) and they sing different rhymes every now and then both in English and French. We get the daily report and know what has happened on a daily basis, what our sons have eaten, learned, etc. the only downside of the report is that the font is very small for checking emails from a computer, but it is ideal for checking by mobile. Overall, We are very happy about our choice to enrol our sons in Lullaboo Maple and I highly recommend them to everyone. I'd also like to thank and appreciate all the staff because of their hard work.

We believe that all children have the right to quality care and education in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment. Lullaboo’s environment facilitates learning opportunities while supporting social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of children. Our philosophy is based on child development principles, centering on the concept of interaction and exploration during play as a natural way of learning. As children interact with materials and their peers, they clarify and extend their understanding of the world. This also encourages children to become responsible, productive, problem solving individuals, capable of independence and self-regulation.

We had emailed to inquire about the services, and while most would have probably ignored us because we weren't in their realm of care providing - we received a pleasant response that they offer longer term care and that they weren't what we were looking for and even gave some suggestions which was above and beyond. We really appreciated this and if one thing speaks to a parent more than anything when reaching out to daycare providers or nannies is that professional communication and understanding care goes along way anad can be seen through almost immediately. If you are looking for longer term daycare options then I definitely wouldn't hesitate to reach out to this daycare, and I hope you have a great experience from there!

So I know she has been a challenge to staff but they have been patient, kind and understanding and she loves them. She asks every morning if we can go to daycare. Since attending her manners have improved, she is always singing a new song and has mastered her counting and ABC's. They have offered routine and stability and lots of fun for my wee one. It's nice to get the daily report everyday of what she did and pictures to see what she was doing. The teachers are also always willing to chat and share about her day at pick up time. It's a small program so you know she is getting good individual care and is not lost in the numbers of bigger programs. I love that there are only 2 rooms, and that they interact on special occasions and at the beginning and end of the day. I think getting to be with the "big kids" has been fun and provided a challenge to my daughter. When we arrive and leave, every kid not only knows my daughter but even me. That homey feel is exactly what we needed for our first care experience.

The leadership is transparent and works with parents to get the best education and care for the children. Both my kids went to this daycare and I am very thankful for all the teachers who worked with my kids when they had behavioural problems, working together with us to solve any issues. They helped shape my children into better humans and I'm eternally grateful for all their hard work. They offer concentrated music, art, French and Yoga classes, occasional special activities like a bubble show and my kids were excited to attend. The space is very clean, and quality of the food is amazing - overall, you won't regret sending your kids here, and my only worry now is that my expectations for future teachers may be to high as I now have a very high standard to compare to.

Countless times when I came to pick my child up they'd be sitting on radiator vent or desk or chair just chatting away while kids ran around yelling and screaming with next to no order. Other times the kids would be sitting around watching an iPad while the teachers chatted away in the corner. 2. My son often mentioned that one of his teachers yelled at him and other children. 3. My son would constantly come home with cuts and bruises that the teachers would have no explanation for. In one instance, I came to pick him up and his finger was bleeding. I showed it to the teacher and she said she didn't see it and he never said anything. How can you not notice a kid is bleeding when it's supposed to be 1 teacher to every 4 kids? 4. On another occasion, on a cold winter day, I picked my son up and his gloves, jacket and pants were covered in dirt. I asked him what happened and he told me another child threw dirt on him. I asked the teacher about it and she told me she didn't see it happen, but did see my son playing in the dirt with the child. My son was 3 at the time, so I grant that his explanation may not have been accurate, but here the teacher is telling me that she does nothing as two kids cover themselves in dirt, and doesn't bother to change their clothes afterward. For the entire year my child was here he was miserable at every drop off and beyond relief at every pick up. Other kids who were there during this time behaved the same. My son absolutely hated going to school. Now that we've changed to a different daycare, he runs into his class, has made dozens of new friends, and is able to write letters, count to one hundred, knows all the continents, and can say quite a few things in French.

From the very beginning, Miss Anita, the teachers and staff have been warm, caring, patient, and genuinely invested in our child's well-being and development. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing that our little one was in a safe, nurturing, and loving environment every day. We especially appreciated how attentive the teachers were to her individual needs and how they kept us informed about her day. And we can also see what's happening because they have cameras that parents can access all day. Thank you to the entire Open Arms team for taking such wonderful care of our daughter and making her daycare experience so positive and memorable. We truly appreciate all the love, patience, and care you've given her.
