I initially purchased three nursing bras while pregnant. Postpartum, my husband came back multiple times to purchase accessories for my Spectra pump. I paid $45 to get fitted for flanges with Susan. I thought it was helpful. While they didn't carry the size Susan had recommended, I did order them on Amazon. The fitting was helpful as Susan recommended the Pano shape by Maymom. The size Susan recommended was 2 mm too small, so I ended up ordering a larger size on Amazon. You can go +/- 1 to 3 mm on flanges. I also bought a new cover for a My Brest Friend pillow I received on Buy Nothing. This is a great maternity and postpartum store to visit.

We go up to the second floor and now it's starting to feel a little more relaxed. The sales person we encountered was nice and helpful. We made our way up to the third floor. No more bumping music or seas of cologne. Yay! Cookware!! We're looking around and there are no prices, yet everything seems to be discounted 40%. Also no registrars were in use. We ended up researching pricing online and found msrp and typical markups. Didn't need the salespeople afterall. We head back down to Club Macy's and I spot the Origins section. I love Origins. I wanted things, but again, no salespeople. I suppose we could have waited around to buy something, but sometimes online is just easier. Also saves the hassle of the parking lot.

Remember to look for the color of the week, and get significant savings (50%). I've bought Christmas dishes, glassware, purses (Coach and Donney&Burke), men's dress shirts, and scarves. Remember, it's a thrift store, not Nordstrom. Whenever I go, it is reasonably clean for the amount of traffic it gets, and it doesn't smell. You aren't going to find dressing rooms full of clothes, a rack is provided outside. You need to sign up for their newsletter. Last year they had a 1cent coat sale. It was amazing. I bought 6 coats. You want to be there as soon as it opens for sales like that. Sign up for rewards. You get credit everytime you shop.

I realize thrift stores rely on donations, but several items we picked up were marked boutique but appeared more than lightly worn. Many of the clothing items were heavily worn and not in good repair. A necklace behind the counter was missing more than a few gems. The store is organized by categories but the lighting is awful, and makes it seem dirty even if it isn't, and there are dead ends/blocked aisles that require you to turn around and go the other way. Staff seemed friendly enough. I interacted 3 times with a young male teen and he seemed pretty low key minimal interaction but by the 3rd chat we hit it off to to speak. He's probably just slow to warm up. I did try on a few clothing items that I purchased. My friend also found something. But I don't think we will add this to our list of shops to frequent.

This place is SO organized. I'm used to shopping at Once Upon A Child, but it's too chaotic most of the time and so disorganized. I was shocked to see Kid to Kid has the same system, but so much more organized. The selection is smaller than OUAC, but still good! I just happened to go in when there is a discount on almost everything, so I can't complain on the price. However, I did notice some really nice clothes and expected them to be $10+ like they would at OUAC, but they were half that price. I would absolutely shop here again. read more

Absolutely LOVE kid to kid! They have an amazing variety of items and their in-store credit when you sell items back is undeniably the best bargain! They'll even donate the items they can't buy back which takes the hassle of hauling around a bag in your trunk for weeks before you actually get to a donation station. Their eye for quality and attention to care of their items shows! I love taking my kiddos items in, and shopping for new, it brings the cost of clothing very low for our big family! I haven't sold anything to this store but I have shopped at two of their locations and I absolutely love the place! They have a wonderful selection and you can't go wrong with the prices there. I'm currently a homemaker and expecting my first child in July and with this economy and only having 1 income in the household sure makes money tight. Further back in the store, they had a few items that may have been there a little long because they did have that old pungent smell. Which stands to reason that they might. They also had a counter where there was jewelry in the front and also in the back of the store. The prices I thought were very good. The skirts that I purchased were $19 so I'm very happy with that. They were very stylish. I've already worn two of them. I'm looking forward to going back. I live a little ways away, but I think it would be worth the drive. What I really liked about the store was that there was a variety of workers from young to middle age to more mature ladies, and a diversity of ladies and cultures that really impressed me. And thank goodness no one followed you around the store as though you wanted to kleptomaniac something that would have been just annoying.

I do think some of their prices are on the higher end, which is disappointing when you're trying to get some affordable items. Clothing, however, it's usually reduced, so along with the books a good purchase. Not so much their purses, and some of their other accessories. It's worth a visit to search through their treasures and find some good thrifts. This is not my favorite thrift store, but it will be some of the goodwill prices in a pinch.

When I tried to return them with the receipt, they refused because they had been worn, and their only advice was to use super glue. I find that incredibly unfair considering the money I spent. These aren't even real Crocs, but the design was great. The customer service, however, was terrible, and they had no interest in making it right. I'm never coming here again.
