I really like this store. I do. They have a good selection and the staff is always nice but as a working Mom, these hours are terrible. They don't take trades in on Sundays or Mondays. During the week they stop taking trades at 4:30pm which makes it impossible for me to trade my kids items in. I've asked about it and they said they're short staffed which I get. There's a lot of businesses struggling with that right now. Maybe if they started later/extended your hours til 7, a high school kid could work there after school? Just a thought. I hope things improve and it doesn't go the way of Other Mothers because I do like and appreciate this store. read more

Thrift shops are one of my favorite places. Kid to kid is extra special because they carry lightly used toys, clothing, and essentials such as carriers, strollers, bassinets... all for babies/kids. With how fast our little ones grow, it's wonderful that Kid to Kid exists. You can bring gently used clothing that's in season along with other outgrown items such as toys and trade for cash value OR store credit. Great place for lightly used kids items - tons of options as long as you're willing to sort through everything

I absolutely love the idea of this store.. recycling gently used kids items for a new family to enjoy. Of course, it is always hit or miss depending on what people have brought in to sell. Sometimes the prices seem very reasonable and other times I am surprised how expensive it is for a used clothing item or toy.. so there is some inconsistency there. The only real issue I have with this store is the rude grumpy woman who seems to be in charge of it. Every time I've seen her interact with anyone (other staff or customers, including myself), her tone and body language is cringe worthy. It honestly makes me hesitant to bring things in to sell because I know I'm going to have to have an interaction with her (even though I do love the idea of these items being reused and usually find some great stuff for my kids). The store was very neat and orderly. I came to get a couple of toys for my grandkids and found just what I was looking for.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR GAS IF YOU'RE PLANNING ON SELLING. I did my research first, called in and asked about the brands they buy and the process for buying. I asked if they have a bin limit and they said no. Made sure everything was nicely flat in bins and sets were together like they said. I arrived with five Costco size totes and could tell the woman was already irritated. When I brought the first one in she asked how many I had and I said four more and asked if they had time, she said yes. I brought the rest of the very heavy bins in and she asked if I was donating what they didn't buy and I said no. More obvious irritation. Then she asked if I wanted store credit and I said, no that I wanted cash. More obvious irritation. She said they would call me when they were done but that they prioritized people waiting in store, understandable. I got up the road and within twenty minutes she called me and said they had already gone through my bins and couldn't take anything. When I returned, three of the five bins were still off to the side exactly where I had set them and still in the same order. The other ones simply looked like they had been slightly changed. They definitely DID NOT go through everything. But I guess they don't take brands like Nike or Cat and Jack or Adidas or Old Navy or London Burberry!! Total joke, waste of time and gas. I wanted to give them a shot because of all the positive reviews, but I'll just stick with Once Upon a Child or the KidtoKid in Gilbert who buys an average of $45 worth of stuff out of each bin I bring. I wouldn't be even half this upset if they had just been honest and said when I arrived that it was too much to go through and had me come another day. Instead they let me lug five massive totes in and out knowing damn well they weren't going to look at them. After reviewing them on Google they had the nerve to respond saying that they DID go through every item and that there was stuff that was stained and sets were not together. It's not physically possible to go through 500+ pieces of clothing in 20 minutes. I had already processed all of the clothing myself and had removed anything stained, torn, faded, etc and putting both clothing and pajama sets together. I spent three days doing so. Very audacious of them to double down on a public forum with more dishonesty. I'd be happy to provide pictures of the bins, the clothes, and the sets as well as screenshots of the time I left the store and the time they called me. read more

They had a great selection of toddler boys clothes with good variety. We found much more than what we came in for and it cost less than buying new.
