If you suffer from real or disabling foot pain, Pacific Medical Prosthetics is the place that I really MUST recommend to you. The orthotics that they made for me maybe six or seven years ago were perfect!! I really had never felt such a relief from my crippling foot pain before!! I sometimes would go somewhere and just couldn't make it back to the car because I was so disabled from the sharp pains in my toe joints. After having a very long career as a registered nurse and being on my feet all the time there is a lot of damage to my feet. The staff at Pacific Medical Prosthetic were so professional and knowledgeable that they properly measured my gait and impressions for my feet and made an amazing shoe insert specifically for ME! I could finally WALK AGAIN!!!!! I have been successfully wearing these orthotics for years. I just went to my regular doctor to get a pair of orthotics, covered by my insurance which they were, but they're so painful to wear and I don't know why. So, I am back to Pacific Medical Orthotics to get them to CREATE a new pair for me. It's really a craft for them and they do an amazing job. I'm hoping that my second impression of them is as stellar as my first way back then. I'll certainly check back with Yelp and give them a second review when I find out. Sincerely, Tom Atkins, RN

Great experience: Ashley is fast, thorough, very competent & a lovely person. I am very happy with my new orthotics & am running pain free again. The location is clean, bright & has readily available appointments. Unfortunately they are no longer offering orthotic casting at this location! I am glad I got in before Ashley left the practice. She is headed down to a practice in Redwood City, Gary Berke Prosthetics (650-365-5861). She recommends Michael Plafker, CPO at SF Prosthetic Orthotic Service (415-861-4146) if you are in need of orthotics in SF.

Agni was very professional, friendly, and responsible throughout the process. I was pleasantly surprised, especially after seeing some mixed reviews. My appointment went very well. The waiting room was comfortable, clean, and well-organized. Agni greeted me politely upon arrival, and shortly after, Brittney called me in for measurements. She was very nice, patient, and knowledgeable, making the whole experience smooth and reassuring.

For weeks, I have been waiting for my replacement liner to arrive. During that time, I have been forced to continue using my current liner, which is severely worn out. It is shredded, barely holding together, and has become incredibly painful to use. Walking has become increasingly difficult, and every day I continue using it puts me at risk for skin breakdown and further injury. My new liner has finally arrived, yet I am now being told that it cannot be released to me until next week because the doctor needs to see how it fits and possibly trim it. I understand the importance of proper prosthetic care, but I have trimmed my liners before, and delaying access to equipment that I need simply to walk is incredibly frustrating. What is most upsetting is the lack of urgency surrounding a device that is essential to my daily mobility. This is not an optional piece of equipment--it is something I rely on every single day to get to work, remain independent, and complete basic daily activities. Being told to wait another week after already waiting weeks for delivery is unacceptable. I came into the office today hoping someone would understand the urgency of my situation. Instead, I feel dismissed and unsupported. As a clinic that serves the amputee and disabled community, I expected greater empathy and a stronger commitment to helping patients maintain their mobility. Horrible service, horrible company , horrible staff.

Once my physical therapy started, it was very smooth booking subsequent appointments. Sara-Jane was my therapist and I must say she was simply amazing. Very good attention to detail and very kind and caring. She listened to all my questions and concerns and what I need to get back to riding and just having general use of my wrist again. Also wanted to shout-out to the girl at front desk, MaiKai? She was always very friendly and helpful as well. Great attitude every time I arrived at my appointments. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and am grateful for the staff here in helping me get back to being healthy. Thank you!

Insanely incompetent customer service!! I suppose they have enough patients to not care. Anyway will update once I actually get PT in a month. -- Similar to other reviews, I have called no less than 10x (picked up 1x, all else goes to automated system/voicemail) and emailed (which initially got a response until I tried to schedule, then last 4 emails to try and schedule have not gotten a response of any kind). Very disappointing. I just want to get some physical therapy! If I ever get an appointment I will update my review

The…read moresurgery was successful and I was walking well enough 2 months later that I was able to make it to my 50th college reunion. Both my knees were in painful condition because of severe osteoarthritis that, over the last 10 years, had destroyed cartilage and ended with a bone against bone knee condition. As an active 73 year old that still wanted to continue being active - biking, hiking, walking and playing with grandchildren - I chose to replace both knees at the same time. It would require one less year of recovery and one less surgery to go through. Dr Hansen and his team agreed that I was a good candidate for bilateral surgery. Dr Hansen and his team have provided such an outstanding, empathic and caring care that allowed me to recover my mobility and physical activity fast and with minimal difficulty and pain. I would recommend his practice to anybody faced with the same problems
