Pumpkin muffin

Awesome stop along minuteman bike path for a bite and a coffee. Breakfast sandwich and wrap were real tasty as was the coffee. Pumpkin muffin was amazing too. Great spot to sit under the trees and relax.

Beet and goat cheese salad add chicken

I've been here a few times in the past and thought it was tasty which is why I'm skewing towards 4stars . Can't remember what I got previously but this time I got Beet and goat cheese salad with chicken - simple, fresh and tasty. Didn't love the chicken, it was a little rubbery and was under seasoned. But there's a good amount of it and it's not unpalatable, just not super good. Thai chicken soup - tasty basic soup, nothing super interesting but again fresh and tasty. Raspberry bar - rather underwhelming didn't have a strong raspberry taste nor did the bar part have any good texture or flavor. Generally very mid experience this time but I know I've enjoyed their sandwiches in the past.

Smoked salmon bagel

Conveniently situated right along the Minutemen Trail, Kickstand is a great option if you need some fuel before/after/during your bike ride (they have bike stands right outside). We came on the early side of a rainy Sunday morning and was pleased to find only a small line - though the place started filling up quickly as soon as we finished. My cousin and I split the smoked salmon breakfast bagel and the Deluxe egg sandwich. - The salmon bagel: 7.5/10. Everything bagel was better than expected and I loved the top and bottom coverage, as well as the additions of tomato and cucumber. My only gripe was not a lot of smoked salmon but overall, not bad. - Deluxe egg sandwich: 10/10. Absolute must-order!! The egg was a frittata with spinach, mushrooms, and onions, and had this silky, tender, almost pudding texture. Loved the brioche bread they used, which held everything together well, and the addition of the thin sausage patty. Next time, I'd get this with bacon. The other pastries looked great. They provide an assortment of sauces to add to your food but I didn't see those until too late. Service was super friendly, and our food came out fast.

Grossest, saddest, over $5 avocado toast I've ever encountered. This is probably half an avocado! Don't get me started on the 7-grain bread--it was cold and soggy-- and I love multigrain. Staff was friendly and chai was OK, but it sucks to open your order down the road and see this :/

I adore this place and the availability with outdoor seating! The baked goods are amazing and the service was quick!

Awesome cafe for a nice coffee break or a pit stop while biking. They have a wide variety of things : coffee, tea, sandwiches, other lunch foods, pastries, muffins, cookies. They also have vegan items in each category that are well indicated. They have plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor seating is well shaded from trees and parasols. Would definitely recommend to others!!!

Spacious cafe, chill vibe, and free wi-fi! But, average coffee and sub-par baked goods. Depends on what you value.

A bit overpriced relative to quality. Sandwich and coffee were good; pastry, not so much. A but slow but friendly staff.

No ordinary cafe by any means. You can check out their website for the details, but I will relay my…read moreexperience and what I've learned here in my review. Relatively recently opened, The Mill Cafe is a special place for multiple reasons. Taking over from an auto parts store, I believe it's now a non-profit business that employs disabled people and works in conjunction with the community center branch of a local church. There is also a settlement for immigrants and refugees related element too. An auditorium and worship area is connected by windows and glass doors on the main far wall. The Mill Cafe part is very spacious, with tables and chairs all over, but that's not all; this is also a community center and children's recreation area. Pinball games, foosball tables, and a small jungle gym make up that part next to the tables. I came during a big town day festival, and the vibe was quite wholesome and upbeat with multiple events going on. There's free drip coffee at times apparently, maybe not always. While they no longer have Counter Culture like advertised, maybe my favorite coffee actually, the one they had was very good. Towns really should have places like this, which I've said before about my own (I did grow up in one of the most educated, best, and prosperous areas of the country, so not complaining!), especially if you want kids off the marijuana and vaping nonsense. The actual floor could just be redone when possible, as it still looks like an auto parts store or warehouse. If something like this was near me when I was younger, I'd surely spend time there!

Overall: what a gem! Love how they support those in the community. They serve up great coffee but…read moreif you're a sustainability enthusiast then they also offer free drip coffee! Their service is super friendly and incredibly fast. They have so many tables and plugs as well. The only downside can be the kids area as it can get a little rowdy but with a good pair of noise cancelling you'll be fine!

birthday donut was something we enjoyed for our family member…read more With a handicapped guest, we usually sit at the back corner table. It was dirty, and they told us we'd have to wait. After waiting, we made do with other tables, which weren't set up. Our waiter brought water, then disappeared. Long wait to get our drink order in, for which they did not have at least one of them. Our waiter went missing again and was finally flagged down to take our lunch order. After a long wait, two of the five dishes we ordered came out. We had to request cutlery, and we sat and waited as they brought out dishes to the other parties that came in AFTER us. Did I mention that it was NOT crowded? maybe five tables had guests. Once about ten minutes had passed, I flagged down the waiter to check on the food. Another five minutes passed and two more dishes came out. Finally, the grilled donut our grandson ordered arrived long after we finished eating. We usually hang around and get a second round of drinks. The lack of welcome and poor service precluded that. I spoke to the waiter about the delays and was given shrugged shoulders in response. The message was for management. We loved this place these past couple of years, it really worked for us. However, we got the message loud & clear.
