The same girl waits on us just about every week (I'm forgetting her name) and does a great job. My biggest complaint is 9 times out of 10 my cheeseburger isn't the way I asked for it. Either they forget to put a topping on or it is the wrong topping or something. It is super frustrating but not worth making a big deal over...The running joke is they aren't going to get it right so as long as it is close, I'll just eat it. A highlight that we appreciate is their being "OK" with us rearranging the dining room. There is often 10+ people with us or other church friends drop in and so we just keep adding tables or cramming more people into booths but we haven't ever gotten (that I can remember) any negative feedback on rearranging tables. The place is generally always busy too, which I guess is a good thing. Food is good and their onion rings and cheese curds are where it is at.

I am not sure why drinks are not marked automatically, but I don't believe it is an unreasonable request. It shouldn't matter if I have an allergy. If I ask for my drinks to be marked, they should be. It takes a split second to push down a bubble. Of course my order was wrong too. I ordered cheese curds. I got fries. The order was not read to me at the window. So I guess that is my fault. I won't be back.

It originally opened in 2013 and has been a popular casual dining spot for locals and tourists. My partner had surprised me with tickets to the Wild Florida Airboats and park. After we rode the airboats and visited the exhibit, we stopped by to eat lunch at The Chomp House Grill. It's open seven days a week, from 10:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. It's a great spot to grab lunch or an early dinner after the airboat tours and other activities at Wild Florida. It's a casual dining spot and has a wide range of foods. Some of the more popular items include the gator bites, catfish basket, and the pulled pork sandwich. The restaurant also serves a variety of sides such as hush puppies and coleslaw. We ended up selecting the following Pulled Pork Sandwich with Mac n Cheese Cheeseburger with French Fries Onion Rings The wait time wasn't too bad, less than 15 minutes! Those onion rings were absolutely delicious! It was perfectly fried and crispy. When you took a bite, the whole onion didn't come off! It was so good! The pulled pork sandwich was delicious. It was so flavorful! if I end up visiting Wild Florida Airboats another time, I'd eat at the Chomp House Grill again. Food was amazing and the price was inexpensive.

It was a very convenient place to stop and get a bite to eat. There is plenty of parking available in a long parking lot that runs along the front of the attraction, so finding a place to park was not a problem. Ordering is simple. You place your order at one window, and when your number is called, you pick it up at the second window. The menu is displayed on the wall between the two windows, making it easy to decide what you want before ordering. It is typical fare for restaurants with dishes like Hamburger, BBq Pork, etc. The lady who took our order was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We ordered two BBQ sandwiches with coleslaw and French fries. Our food came out in about ten minutes and was served in a foam takeout container along with a packet containing napkins, plastic utensils, salt, and pepper. Everything was fresh, hot, and very good. The cost for 2 meals and 1 drink was $33, reasonable for the amount and quality of the food you get. There are two places to enjoy eating your meal. One is an indoor seating area directly across from the ordering windows, while the other is a covered patio overlooking the lake. We chose to sit outside, where we enjoyed a nice breeze and even had a peacock wander over to visit us while we were eating, which added a little something extra to the experience. Overall, we had a very enjoyable lunch. The food was good, the service was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the lakeside setting made it a relaxing place to take a break during our visit to Wild Florida. If you're planning to spend the day at the park, I would definitely recommend stopping here for lunch. Enjoy!
