This was a very unique experience that i thoroughly enjoyed. It was a bit difficult for me to find because it looks like an ordinary house and blends into the neighborhood. There is a small amount of parking available on the side of the house and there is also street parking available. I came here as part of a corporate event and I will definitely be back. Here plain white shoes are your canvas. They have paint, tape, stencils, and dryers. There is no wrong way to do it. The options are limitless. I ended up finishing my shoes off with some splatter and it was awesome. It took about 1 and a half to 2 hours to finish my shoes. They came out very nice if I do say so myself. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. They made decorating the shoes so easy. They provided ideas and assistance when needed, while balancing our boundaries. They have two areas available to do painting and they are perfect for small corporate events and parties. I highly recommend checking this place out. It is fun for all ages. Looking for something different to do? This is the place. Hosted a team event here for 12 people. I arranged everything via email and they are amazing to work with. Since it's a corporate event my accounts payable department kept asking for random stuff but they provided everything needed right away. They allow you to bring in food and drinks if you would like a d provide everything you need for the experience. I sent a list of shoe sizes prior to the event and when we arrived they were all laid out and ready for us to go. Some were concerned they weren't artistic but no worries. The hosts are there to help and they are! If you want to come solo without a group that's fine too that is their bread and butter I think. They also will come to your site if you want to do it st your work location. They are very flexible. It also isn't overly expensive. This was the most epic amount of fun. I almost didn't paint with the kids and I am so glad that I did. The Sneaker Bar is inviting and inspiring. You pick your size when you order, but they allow you to try on and make sure you're good. We did have to make a change. This was no problem. They give you all of the information needed to start and then you are mostly on your own. You sit at a communal table and we had fun with the other guests. This is a great family-owned business in Broad Ripple, just around the corner from Broad Ripple Brewpub. The owners had everything set up for us and explained the process of painting and decorating sneakers, even providing tips and tricks based on past customer experiences. Kicasso offers LOTS of paint, glitter and stencil options for you to make your own creation. There is a book with photo inspiration if you're not sure what to do! What a fun experience! My friend saw another friend post about this place so we reserved a slot on the weekend (open classes). Our time slot was for 2.5 hours and it ended up being just enough time for us. (I was a little slower but they didn't have a problem with me wrapping up after our timer went off!) We came in, were told how the class would work and then we got going! They had tons of supplies for us to use, a color chart that showed how to mix colors, stencils, a drying station to speed up dry time so you can keep painting and so many other useful items. If I could give them 6 stars I would! What a creative,innovative and fun place! Having trolled them on Instagram, I decided to use my Birthday as an opportunity to attend with my girlfriends. I don't know how to even begin . So many wins at this place: Social Media - IG/FB and their website provide clear and concise information about Kicasso and how it works. If the pictures of all the smiling customers and awesome sneakers aren't enough, registration is a snap! There is even a chat option which was promptly responded to when I had question. Venue: Located in the Heart of Broad Ripple, the location is pretty simple to find and upon arriving, we were immediately greeted, felt welcomed and guided to our assigned areas. Sneakers: Kicasso has their own version of (Chucks ) that you are able to paint and design! Carl is the concept creator and what I would consider the in resident artist. There were several groups in our class and he and the rest of the staff Dewonye,Kadeana, and Nicole lead us in making our own masterpieces! I will admit , even though I am from a family of artists, I am definitely challenged in my execution! The staff (special thanks to to Carl) helped me execute my dream design. Special shout out to Dewonye who did all off our splatter artwork and Kadeana who was our hype woman and provided great suggestions and advice!
