in 2023 Concrete alternatives resurfaced my patio with epoxy. In 2025 i contacted them about it…read morebubbling when the sun came out. Also had a spot that was taking off due to citronella oil. They came out and re-did the patio. It was dont very poorly the second time. - Areas not painted (raw concrete showing) - Bubbles all over - Tye Dye Effect -some areas have no clear at all I contacted the company, they came out and sanded it and put on a new clear coat -same bubbles , same tye dye effect and still showed raw concrete undermeath I contacted the company, they came out and sanded the "bad" areas and clear coated again - SAME ISSUES Too cold now at this point to redo it. so they just put clear on it one last time just to get by tile spring - now it is super slippery, some spots are done too heavy, some not at all. Company comes back and sands off 20% of the clear with promising to resurface it in the spring. Spring comes - New crew comes back to lightly sand more clear and apply new clear. I said to the crew- so youll see the tye dye effect, raw concrete and bubbles underneath? He said YES. I said well there is no sense in continuing BOSS calls and says he didnt remember the email that he sent stating he would redo it and he cant do ir right away because he has no supplies for it. __ Patio is disarray for 3 months last year, there is NO way i am letting them ruin my summer with a tore up area again. Or letting them on my property because i am positive that they are not capable of fixing it. There crews are terrible. I have a nice polywood patio table, they set their tools on top of it. Spit in my flower bed while talking to me, Bash talk their boss while at a customers home and ruined my edging for my support beams on porch. DO NOT use this company

Unfortunately, a hard rain (not in forecast) resulted in some minor problems with the finish coat. The guys returned in coupe weeks, removed the old coat and put a new one. It looks just perfect! Concrete Alternatives are real professional who cares about their reputations. I wish all contractors were like them.

Terrible experience. Paid $5K for a new floor to be put down in the upstairs of my house and for…read moresome new stairs to be installed. First, they put the new floor OVER the old floor upstairs when I asked for the upstairs floor to be ripped up and new floor to be installed so I lost some height in the room and by the time I noticed, it was to late for them to change anything. Then there is a somewhat difficult piece of the floor that needs to be cut and laid down and they never finished it. So I have this one section thats completely unfinished. Then the stairs they installed were supposed to be stained and sealed. They never sealed it. Also, there were pieces of wood that weren't even secured down, there's big gaps between the wall and the new staircase installed to where you can see straight down to the basement, and there are holes in the wall that they never fixed because the new staircase doesnt line up the same as the old one. I have reached out multiple times and I get told, "I am sorry I forgot all about you, I will get there as soon as I can." Just to never hear back from them. I basically got robbed for $2K because thats how much work is still needed to be finished. I have done some of the work on the stairs myself, like securing the loose boards and I had to finish staining the stairs and seal them. Whatever you do, dont hire these clowns. There are much better people in the area that actually take pride in their work and wont screw you over. I have talked to others around town and it seems this is what they do to everyone. Save yourself the headache, call someone else.

Fidurko Brothers' Construction was contracted in July 2017 to install a concrete driveway at my…read morehome in Allegany, and I worked with Brian from this company. There were several issues with quality/workmanship- below is a list of the major issues: - Failed to put down an adequate subbase, which resulted in poor drainage under the concrete (leading to excessive heaving) and very inconsistent concrete thicknesses. I found 2-1/2" thick sidewalk concrete where it should have been 4", and areas of the driveway with 3" thick concrete where we had agreed upon 5-1/2" minimum. - Did not pin the concrete pads together, so pads could float/heave independently which created a 2" step height difference during winter. (see photo w/yellow level and measuring tape) In addition to a trip hazard, I could not plow the driveway without risking damage to concrete. - Trip hazards due to mismatched heights of concrete pads at multiple locations. (as poured, prior to winter heaving) - Refused to use rebar. (Brian referred to it as 'foreign material') - Poured concrete directly against my garage floor concrete (no expansion joint) which cracked/chipped the entire garage foundation during winter heaving. (see pic) - Concrete pads were 'pillowed' instead of being flat, creating valleys where they met. Concrete was also pitched towards my neighbor's property which directed water from my driveway towards my neighbor's garage, creating a water issue for him. Not only did this create friction between me and my neighbor, it also was a code violation. - The finish quality was extremely poor with (3) distinctly different shades of gray concrete, dips/bumps and very poor edging. (See attached pics) After 11 months of asking Brian to put his plans in writing on how he planned to correct the issues, I gave him an ultimatum. He failed to provide a corrective action plan, so I hired another contractor to make the repairs. (which resulted in complete removal/reinstallation of his concrete to put proper subbase down, and cost me over $10K)
