Confused by all the positive reviews. The place was cute but not more than anywhere else, and our food was frankly just bad. We got huevos rancheros and huevos divorciados and didn't like either (I've had better versions of the dishes many times). The other things we saw looked good, so maybe those are better. Best mole sauce that I've ever had! Stopped by for breakfast/brunch twice and had some really awesome food on both visits. The cappuccino was an outstanding start to our meal - definitely full of flavor and without a ton of foam like some of the other places. The guacamole was amazing as well. The veggie and chicken enchiladas with the mole sauce was to die for and the portion size was plenty good to get you full as well. We also got some really fluffy and soft pancakes (hot cakes) and tried the huevos rancheros with the red and green sauces as well. Both were equally amazing. We were also glad we got the carrot cup cakes both times - amazing homemade taste and the icing makes it even luscious and better. Willinitely stop by here the next time I happen to visit Tulum. P.S.: All the wait staff speak really good English btw. Really helpful and comfortable for people like me who don't speak Spanish. read more

My wife and I visited here in late October. The coffee was excellent. We both had Americanos and it was the best coffee we had while here in tulum. This spot is in the city, away from the beach area so the prices were good. 1.50 American for the coffee and the dishes were 90 Pesos or $5 American. I highly recommend the fresh OJ, the hot cakes, and the huevos rancheros with a avocado. read more

This is a great breakfast spot! I tried this out on my way out of Tulum to Playa Del Carmen, and I'm glad I came! They have a garden area out back that's shaded, which is super helpful with the Mexican sun blazing down on you. It's a very relaxed vibe that made me wish I could stay there for hours, but alas, I couldn't. I had their eggs over easy and a side of granola with yogurt and fruit which hit the spot. The staff is super friendly and attentive, they speak both Spanish and English fluently. This is located right off the main street in Tulum and next door to a famous mojito bar with an old VW Beetle on the outside. Hats off to this place! :) read more

my review is for the 2 times I came thru - in the morning for coffee to go and the night roof bar. i ordered from the outside cafe bar. i got an iced latte. it'a affordable, fast, and taste is amazing. at night, it was happy hour and we took the stairs up, best place for a view of downtown tulum. we ordered fresh daiquiris (strawberry and a mango coconut). i'll def be back next time I'm in tulum! read more

Good coffee, also had a fruit salad, mole enchiladas and shrimp tacos. The salad was refreshing and rather delicious (good variety of fruit). The tacos were good, but not spicy and quantity of shrimp was small. The enchiladas were just OK, and the mole sauce was not as "smooth" as it could have been. It's an interesting place, feels more like Williamsburg, Brooklyn rather than Tulum, but I guess coffee and pastries -not lunch dishes - are their best offerings. read more

I'm not sure why this place has so many good reviews. Nice atmosphere on the Main Street but the food was disappointing. It wasn't necessarily bad, but it definitely wasn't good either. Juevos rancheros were covered in a clearly canned red salsa. The "hot cakes" were white pancakes from a box with fake maple syrup. The employees speak fluent English, which I'm sure many tourists like but with so many other good options in town, this place is not worth a visit. read more

Stayed in Tulum about 3 weeks and frequented this place almost every day! The cafe is super cute, it goes back into a patio area too from the street. They have a wonderful attentive staff and the coffee is to die for! You can also make it to your taste, i.e. for the non-dairy eater/drinker, you can have your latte with almond milk! It's fantastic and they grind the coffee right in front of you so you know you coffee/latte/espresso drink is always fresh. Food looked good too although I didn't dine there. I think it's worth the stop especially if you love coffee. read more

If you even remotely like coffee, you will LOVE Ki'Bok! It is right around the corner from Don Cafeto off the main strip (307) of Tulum town. We didn't eat, though the next time in town we will, but instead had a couple of lattes. I love coffee and am quite particular about what I like; I have found a handful of places that are in my top 5 and this is one. No good vegan options unfortunately. They have a good ceviche dish and thats about it. No fruit juices for breakfast offered :(. The internet basically doesn't work, which sucks since its a coffee shop that you cant work at. The inside is incredibly dark. The service is sometimes good or really awful. Either people welcome you or completely ignore you. The seats are so uncomfortable to sit. Not sure what the hype is other then being in a good location. So many better places in town. Their instagram doesn't reflect what the vibe is in real life. You feel like its a really classy coffee place then you go there and its not even close. At night the upstairs plays really awful club music so loud you cant have a conversation. The deck is small so it feels so much louder. no vegan taco options or anything either at night. Im confused on their instagram since they present completely different then the actual experience. Id go to art club, fruit mistico, or any other place if you want to chill, feel stress free, get good service, want good decor, and fast internet. read more
