He only sells cars that are in great shape, often managing to find what I call "car unicorns" (one-owner cars with great maintenance records from states without road salt or flooding). Two: if Mitch doesn't happen to have the right car for you, you can use him as a sort of "car sommelier." He'll help you figure out what kinds of cars you might like (which was super helpful for me), steer you away from bad years or bad models, and then, when you know what you want, he'll source you a great car. When the car arrives in PDX, he'll take it to a reputable mechanic to make sure it's in tip top shape.
