Hands down one of the most delicious places I've ever been to -- how did I not know this existed?! Honestly, I almost didn't post this because I selfishly wanted to gatekeep it... it's that good. I'd hate for it to get so packed I can't even get a seat! The service was quick and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. I tried the crispy crab wontons -- absolutely crunchy and flavorful -- and the steamed gyoza was perfectly tasty and satisfying. I went on a rainy Friday and the warm soup hit the spot -- it was everything I needed and more. The bok choy was so fresh and flavorful, and the meat was incredibly tender. Everything was just on point. They offer a variety of different Asian cuisines, and I'm already planning my next visit to try more. Amazing quality, great service, cozy vibes -- this place is a hidden gem. 10/10 will be back!

Perfect place on a chilly night! Food here hit the spot and definitely had that comfort food feeling. Service was great and the food was delicious.

Been craving some Thai and decided to give Khaosan Road a try. Located in Coral Gables, parking is mostly metered or in a garage parking lot. The restaurant is on an enclosed road which street vendors setup booths and sell their items outside. So it's a nice prelude to your dining experience. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. But given the crowd outside we opted for the more quiet option. Staff is friendly and even though we came close to closing we never felt rushed. Had to start with the Thai Iced Tea which was so refreshing. I had to self moderate myself from gulping it down. For apps we went with the Papaya Salad and the Crab Wontons. Both were solid. But I could eat Papaya Salad all day. Again very refreshing with just the right amount of kick. For mains we went with Duck Basil and the Beef Gratium PrigTai Garlic. Of the two the Duck Basil was my favorite. It was my first time trying it and I literally was craving it the next day. The Duck was super tender yet crispy skin. The sauce was so delicious. Mouth is watering just thinking about it again. We ended the evening with the obligatory Thai Donuts. We did have an issue with them not being fully cooked but the staff were quick to correct the issue. Overall glad to add Khaosan Road to my local favorite for Thai. Check them out when in the area.

Came here for lunch and we were seated in a small room on the side. I have to say this space is loud!!! I had trouble hearing my co-worker across the table. I ordered the BBQ noodle soup and it was pretty tasty. On the menu it states that it has roasted garlic but I could not taste it at all. The pork i found to be a bit dry. The star in this dish were the were the dumplings. I could have just had a bowl of those. The filling was delicious and the wrapper was thin. Absolute perfection!

You'll have a hard time deciding whether to eat inside or outside at Khaosan Road (unless it's raining, of course!)- it's located in the lovely square area of Giralda Plaza with a beautiful outdoor patio, but inside also has a gorgeous Thai aesthetic with beautiful wood and cushion in a relaxed southeast Asian vibe. I had embarrassingly only ordered takeout from them until last week when I finally had the chance to visit their physical location and so glad I finally did since the space is so beautiful and inviting. Beyond the vibes, the food of course is the main reason to come. This is some of the best Thai food in Miami. Pad see ew is my go-to and they make an amazing one here, saucy and flavorful with the noodles cooked just right. I also appreciate that they don't second guess me when I ask for hot and don't hold back. Highly recommend Khaosan Road for your Thai fix!

Came here for a friend's birthday. She and another friend had come here before and were big fans. It was a Saturday night and other than one other woman, we were the only people in the place. Not sure if it's more of a takeout spot but more people should dine in! The food is so authentic and the service is great. We ordered several dishes for sharing: the duck basil (absolutely divine!), pad Thai with tofu (on the dry side for me, personally), khao soi (this dish is only found in the north in Thailand, which I guess is why so few restaurants have it on the menu, but it's SO good! These guys do a good job of making sure it's more coconut milk based than Thai red curry based, giving it the perfect desired sweetness that makes this dish so special), papaya salad (yum!), chicken skewers (also yum), Tom Yum noodle soup (definitely not a fan but my friends who ordered it are fans of the sour/spicy combo), and Thai donuts (SO pillowy and fluffy - these melt in your mouth and are truly some of the best I've had anywhere). Take a break from the usual bougey spots you usually dine at in the Gables and give this place a try - you won't regret it.

Pictures do no justice. I'm a huge Khao Soi fan and I try to have it at most Thai restaurants I go to and I gotta say this is one of the best, not THE BEST but one of them. Since we are always in the Gables and if I'm craving Khao Soi, this is my spot

Now occupying the old Bangkok Bangkok location this place kept some of the old dishes as name to capitalize on the reputation. They also updated the decor of the interior keeping the large area where you can sit in the floor. They have added some dishes based on Thai street food and those are where they shine. My favorite is a pork belly dish that is just amazing. The pork chunks are crispy and delicious cooked in an excellent sauce. I not been able to order anything else as these are so good I get them every time. The wife always gets a shrimp dish that's more traditional Thai and those are very good too

It was a gorgeous day to eat al fresco at this lovely Thai restaurant. Food was excellent and servers were very kind and helpful, guiding us through the menu. Our meals of pad Thai, spicy Basil duck and khao soy noodle soup were excellent , full of flavor and perfect amount of spice and heat. A great place to bring out of town visitors. I highly recommend

The staff is accommodating and dedicated, you feel like you're treated like in Atchana's home. I usually get their chicken Pad Thai. And if you ask them to make it Thai hot - watch out, you might be sweating all day, that's how spicy they can make it! The skewers are so soft and yum too. Oh and don't forget to order their Thai tea - it's so delightful.

Great service, chill vibes, and every dish we tried was a winner. The summer rolls and son-in-law eggs were standout appis. Hubby had the pad thai, bestie got the special fried rice (which was insanely good). I can't remember what her husband ordered, but I can tell you that my Khao Soi Gai stole the show. No contest. So rich and savory - we all couldn't stop raving about it. I'd happily go back any day just for that. Thai donuts were fire, too. So good and they definitely don't skimp on portions. Wine prices were super reasonable, so naturally we enjoyed a couple bottles and left with full bellies and a nice lil buzz. Easy 10/10. Safe to say we've officially found our new go-to Thai spot.

my friend and I vowed to come here last year and when I booked my trip back to Miami, we came here…read moreon a drunken Saturday night together. we already had dinner and planned second dinner at Lung Yai. we arrived at 9:30 PM to a very busy sidewalk and an even busier patio seating area. we waited for about 10 minutes before they seated us so that was nice. we had to share the large table in the back with another party, but it didn't feel crowded at all. since it was at night, the music was blasting on full and the lights were everywhere. we may have went crazy on ordering, but I adamantly had to order green curry with rice, Tom yum soup with shrimp and a thai iced tea. the thai iced tea was so welcoming during this hot night. the Tom yum was so comforting even though it was hot out, it didn't feel hot. paired with the green curry and rice, it was perfection. I understand why this spot is so popular. the food is good and reasonably priced. it's a great place to hit up after dinner or the bar and add to your belly.

Oh Lung Yai how did you fall so low…read more When you guys first opened, it created quite a buzz, as you stood out among the other Americanized Thai restaurants, and offer authentic dishes not found elsewhere. You introduced me to Khao Soi and many other delicious eats. Fast forward ten years, we were in the neighborhood, hungry, and decided to stop by. It had been a few years since our last visit. I may remember wrong, but I thought there used to be indoors seating too? Anyway, we got seated after a short wait. We were told we could only make one order. I ordered the Khao Man Gai, and I have to say, this is the worst chicken rice I had hands down. It came with one big piece of white breast meat - skinless boneless, which tasted totally bland. So was the rice. None of the aromatic flavor that makes it so special. It definitely wasn't how it was made or served years ago. The pork in the salad was super dry as well. So sad, not coming back.
