My mother ordered the chicken tikka masala and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the chicken vindaloo (medium), which was flavorful and delicious. One of the items we ordered that was a standout for everyone was the Mango Lassi . Every single person in our group ordered one, and we all loved it. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. I'll definitely be ordering from this restaurant again!

A friend and I were seated quickly, and provided menus. I knew I wanted mango lassi and ordered that. We decided to split beef samosas and garlic naan. I went with a veggie saag dish but asked for it extra spicy. The mango lassi was amazing, it was hard to stop myself from chugging it. The beef samosas were well made, perfectly flaky, however, I realized in that moment I prefer veggie samosas. The entrees arrived and my dish smelled amazing. I tried my best to spoon rice onto my plate, but the rice was oddly stacked high on a plate and would just tumble down like an avalanche. I prefer my rice in a bowl. So, my saag dish, while well prepared and was hot, was lacking flavor to me due to the spice used to provide the heat I wanted. And that's on me. I realized this meal that I should get maybe medium spice at most, then ask for whatever their version of "hots" is on the side. Overall, it was a very pleasant visit. Service was amazing. I just made bad choices, which is not Little India's fault.

Yesterday met up with some college (4) friends at Royal Spice in Lithicum Heights for late lunch…read more First time there for all of us and the food was flavorful and plentiful enough that we all had leftovers to take home. Not crowded for a Saturday and seated right away. They were pretty busy at least for delivery that it took a bit for our order but maybe because we were busy chatting and reminiscing. Couple of us had mango lassi sparkler - we enjoyed it and one ordered a non-alcoholic mango lassi and ended up not enjoying it - too yogurty for her. For the appetizer: chicken momo (dumpling) and samosa. Not bad! Main meal, I had the mixed platter which was very plentiful and flavorful, butter chicken mild and medium spice for two of the gals, and finally shrimp curry medium for the 4th gal. We highly recommended the very garlicky naan . The only negative I would say is that they were going to charge for extra sauce for my mixed platter. Ambiance was ok but a tad dark.

The food was so delicious!!!! The flavors were robust and authentic. Everyday dish tasted exactly the way you expected it to taste. He poured the drink with a heavy hand, so don't even bother to drive. The ambiance is friendly and inviting. Brightly light and casual attire welcomed. Stop in for much if you want to taste a little bit of variety from the menu.-) Happy Eats Love, you won't be disappointed.-)

The dishes are plentiful and made with the freshest ingredients. This place does not cut corners on flavor, quality of meat, or presentation. Amazing dishes we tried chicken tikka masala, lamb rogen josh, vegetable pikora, warm and crispy garlic naan. The prices are affordable and the portions are plentiful. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or date night. The owner is very friendly he comes around and talks to his regulars and introduces himself to his new customers. We stopped…read morein for a quick lunch and were quickly seated in a semi-private room surrounded by shelves of REALLY nice whiskey. The owner's collection is really impressive and I'm already planning a trip back with my partner to explore more of the spirits. My friend and I ordered the half serving of fish curry, half serving of butter chicken, and veggie pakoras. Everything was delicious and came out quickly. The butter chicken wasn't like any other butter chicken I've had -- it was more rich in flavor and leaned more towards a tikka masala in my opinion but it was still good. It came with only one serving of rice for both orders so if you prefer more rice, order extra. It wasn't my favorite basmati rice I've had though. The service was extremely attentive and at times a bit suffocating. Once our food came out, we were checked on 5-6 times in a matter of 10 minutes all by different servers. After a certain point, we both got annoyed because we just wanted to have a conversation without being interrupted every 2 minutes. Waters were refilled any time even a small sip was taken. It seemed like the servers were bored and just trying to find something to do. But I would've much preferred our own server just stopping by once, so my friend and I could've enjoyed our time to catch up. Beyond that, the space is gorgeous with lots of fancy decor. We felt a bit underdressed actually. My friend and I both said how we'd love to come back for a nicer dinner and eat at the bar so service is more relaxed next time.

My second favorite is the cheesesteak done with subbing it for chicken. It's cheesy and delish. Jeremy and I were driving to Pasadena, and I noticed a sign that a new Halal place had opened up in the shopping center where Dave's Hot Chicken (so good!! Check out my review!) Is located... in the same shopping center as hibachi buffet (see my review!)... across the street from Little India (see my review)... our friend Aimee had just told me about her love of falafel, and Naz's let's you buy just the falafel, without having to buy an entree. I mean, we bought entrees, but I like options. So I had the combo meat gyro, with lamb and beef, and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. The pita bread was lovely and soft. The meat was tender and deliciously spiced. Jeremy had one, too, but without lettuce. Jeremy also had the combo meat rice platter and I haven't seen him that happy to eat something in a long time. I'm pretty stoked that Naz's has locations everywhere, including right down the street from my apartment on Merritt Blvd.
