We tried to explain that she was a service dog not emotional support . The dog was in a visable service dog vest .. She said don't care . I explained that denying service was a crime . There are multiple locations, and they are all pretty good. But nothing tops the one in Monroe!!! They have way more options, and I liked how the seafood and meat all had ice underneath them. The portion sizes are as small or large as you make them, but I was able to cram so many items in the bowl. I believe I had large and medium shrimp, spicy fish, regular fish, imitation crab, sausage, peas, broccoli, zucchini, tofu, eggs, onions, and bell peppers. After you give them your bowl and seasoning cups, (I suggest sampling the sauces first!) You then have a choice of steamed rice, frued rice, udon, or spaghetti noodles. I preferred the steamed rice. The service was pretty quick. I've only gotten it to go but I found them pleasant. It takes about 15 minutes per bowl, and the cost is under $15. The normal person could probably eat twice or 3xs off one bowl. I ate the first one in the car then went back in for a 2nd one bc it was amazing! I had the second one for lunch and dinner the next day. The vibe is casual and the ambiance is that of a traditional Asian-American restaurant. I feel like you get more to go than vs dining in but I'm not sure why that is. Either way, I definitely recochecking them out and I wish we had one closer to my home town! read more

I love coming here I get three meals from my rice bowl. It's an easy way for me to get lots of veggies and protein since I'm pregnant. I get lots of chicken and veggies and use yum yum sauce in one bowl with teriyaki and a little sesame oil in another for the actual cooking of the bowl. We get pot stickers which are our favorite appetizers or the cream cheese Rangoons. All of it is good! The only con is for us the service is always slow, but they're hiring so I'm sure it'll improve. Nice place for something different. If you never been, ask plenty of questions before you start. They have plenty to choose from, but just wish I could get a little advice or a small sample to help me make a better selection. I heard the angel hair noodles are the best, but have only tried the fried rice, which is pretty good. Have to kind of balance your protein from your veggies, but if you do it right, it comes out good. I would suggest taking it easy on the spices the first time, and just go with the basic sauce. The food was very good, but it is pricey. Lunch (just entrees) for two adults and one child was $70.00 with the tip. You pick your protein (shrimp, chicken, beef, pork) and then add noodles or rice, vegetables and spices. I didn't know what the spices were and was unsure about the flavor combinations. We had to ask twice for refills if our drinks. It was a bit like a buffet which made me wary during the pandemic. Masks were required but social distancing was not enforced. Absolutely the best Mongolian BBQ grill that I have eaten at to date. The best selection, taste and best prepared. With a wide variety of seasoning and sauces, one could visit for months and have a different, but wonderful meal. The egg rolls were obviously made fresh and we're the best that I have had from any restaurant or grocery store. Hope just enough people find out about this place to keep them open so it won't be too busy next time I come. Word gets out, they should be packed. We will be back. That is if we can leave, just found out that the credit card machine is down. I am sure they can get that repaired. read more

This place is so good , wife and I love eating here . Portions are huge if you make your bowl right ( stuff it to the max and put your eggs on the tray not in the bowl ) and you'll have supper or lunch leftovers . All the items on the bar are always fresh and the restaurant is extremely clean . We always order a side of egg rolls ( 2 @ $ 2.50 ) to go with our meal , had the crab puffs once they're okay not really our style . 2 meals with egg rolls and tip $27 ( we drank ice water ). My review is not about the actual food. The food itself was good, tastes the same as any other mongolian bbq. When you think about it, they just provide the raw ingredients, and you put the sauces in yourself so the taste is really up to you not them. My problem was with the way our server was. I called ahead and they told me that kids under 12 are measured to see the price of the buffet. When we sat down, I told her that my daughter was 11 and said she needs to be measured. The waitress said "no, we charge her full price." I argued and said they told me on the phone that under 12 was by the height. She argued saying that my daughter was too tall. I argued again and said I want to go measure her. So we went to where the tape measure on the wall was, and of course my daughter was below the 5'0'' mark (the largest mark that was $8.95 for a buffet). She said okay and went back to our table. On our check, she wrote $10.95. I asked what that was, and she said, she too tall. I argued again and said she was BELOW the line that had a max of $8.95. She then got irritated and crossed it out and wrote $9.95. I finally raised my voice a bit and said "You cannot do that. She was clearly below the line for $8.95, you can't just randomly make up prices." She crossed that out and then wrote $8.95 on the check. I know that seems very picky about a couple of dollars, but it was the principal. The waitress acted like she didn't speak English so it would be okay. It wasn't. Again, the food is what you make of it, you put all of the ingredients together, they just cook it. One thing to note, there are several guys cooking at the same time over a hot flame with no skull caps or hair nets, so sweat dripping onto the grill into your food may add some ingredients. read more

Yes, Mongolian has come to North Monroe! Tried this restaurant about 2 weeks after opening, and it was great. The staff's customer service leaves a bit to be desired but the food makes up for it. The first time I've ever had Mongolian was when I lived in CA and I frequented an 'all you can eat' spot for $10 so I had certain expectations. Khan's actually surpassed and is the best I've had so far. There is a huge variety of options to make your dish just the way you like! I was a little weirded out by the raw meat and seafood sitting out buffet style but I was at ease when I saw the staff checking it regularly the both times I've had this place. Would still like to see lids atop each dish though. I love that they have both meat and seafood, a variety of veggies, and many different dry seasonings and sauces to choose from. The amount of food you get is enough for two servings; I've dined in and also gotten TO GO, my friend didnt think it was that much when he saw the to go container but was very surprised at how much it was when he plated his food. I would recommend to eat here during the week and perhaps just for lunch ($8.99) because the second time I came was on the weekend (Sunday lunch) and the price was $11.99 and it was the exact same entrees/meat as the $8.99 lunch deal. I'm not sure if there is a different dinner price. But all in all, the amount of food is still a great deal for $12 bucks. They also do no tax as a student discount with ID! read more

My husband, brother and I had Khan Mongolian at 3pm. The restaurant was very clean and the wait staff was helpful but could have been a little more attentive. The directions for creating your meal were clear and the bar was very well organized. The ingredients were fresh and there was a ton of variety with the meats, vegetables, spices and sauces. We were served our creations promptly and our food was excellent! My bowl was seafood with General TSO sauce and it was excellent. They were also very accommodating of our 6 month old. read more
