This is really a 3 star rating but good Chinese take out is so hard to find, especially in a small town, that Asian Kitchen earns the rating. I ordered, I showed up, it was ready, it tasted good, no problems after, what else? read more

Service is always wonderful and top notch! The food is consistently good and this is my go to place for takeout!

Food and service is great! You can call your order in and it's ready when you get there! Good prices!

this is authentic Asian food and well done .. my favorite in or out of town ! Take out only now .. short waits or call ahead and it's ready !! read more

Very low quality food. Cheaply done. Bland. Tasteless. You can get tastier Asian food from the frozen section at Kroger. Not just a butthurt Karen here. This place is really bad. Move along. read more

After not being able to find a place that was open besides a fast food place I came across this little gem. I ordered H6 The Lemongrass Shrimp which also included mushrooms, broccoli and a sauce that was to die for. This was my first visit here but it won't be my last. The staff and owner of this place are really friendly and know many of the regulars by name. read more

Wonderful customer service the rice is yellow and they make they're own hot mustard... as long as I can support a good business with good products I will promote them... very nice spot and service is on point no arguing or fight in front of customers read more

Very tasty Asian-style dishes. I really like the lemongrass shrimp. The place is pretty popular and can get busy. I had to wait 1 hr on a Friday evening once for a take out order I called in. But the service is friendly. read more

One of my favorite places to eat in Vicksburg. I always get the shrimp meh fun. It is always delicious.

Been coming here since I moved to Vicksburg. The employees are very friendly and the food is by far the best in town!

Very good tom yum Soup, spicy chicken in garlic sauce and pen fried rice. The cheese wontons were also very good. The soup was delicious! The photos and the building look kind of sketchy, but the food and service is amazing. The little girl was so polite while her mom or grandma worked. My first time. I will return. read more

Straightforward, quick, tidy and friendly service - exactly what we were looking for after a long day of travel. My mum is a big fan of straightforward takeout chinese and she gave this place two-thumbs up. Not too salty/MSGy and a solid array of options. If I wasn't in the middle of a cross country road trip and living out of hotels I would have been curious to chat with the staff more and explore some of the more interesting corners of the menu. Servings were plentiful and it held up the next day in the cooler quite well. Thanks for doing what you do! read more

Best Asian food in Vicksburg, MS. My fav is the Mongolian Chicken -I've had it cook many times in many different restaurants but here -it is the best. The dinning room area is not fancy -and the tables need to be cleaned after every customer leaves -and the visible floor area should be swept of all papers and debris -no excuses! Fix these issues and you can get a 5 star rating. read more

Asian Kitchen - Egg rolls are good here. - Chinese Near Me - Vicksburg, Mississippi

Out of the many Chinese restaurants I've been to this is on the lower end of the spectrum. The General Tso chicken was ok, but not as flavorful and/or spicy as should be. The chicken fried rice was subpar. It had no flavor at all and just slits of chicken pieces. I seen it had great reviews and since I was staying at a hotel next door I needed something to eat for dinner as I was just passing through. Some people might blame it on a small city(22,000), but I have been to a Chinese restaurant in a town of 2,400(Fairfax Sc), and their food was 10 stars compared to this place. Reason for giving them at least 3 stars is because of customer service. As far as the food goes, it's 1-2 stars being nice. read more

Asian Kitchen - $11 bucks for this and a bottle of water. The General Tso chicken with Chicken fried rice in place of pork fried rice. - Chinese Near Me - Vicksburg, Mississippi

Doesn't look like much, located at the end of a strip mall by don't let that put you off. Staff is very friendly and the food is very good.

Food was horrible! I had spare ribs and sweet and sour chicken. Ribs are a joke! No way that meat was ribs! Chicken was chewy! I have never had chewy chicken! I will NEVER eat there again! read more

The egg Rolls were good. Pad Thai and Tom yum soup were not good. If you just want an egg roll snack I would recommend, but for anything else, I wouldn't. read more

We ordered the egg drop soup and beef lo mein! Always yummy and the owners are super sweet and makes you feel welcomed!!

BLUF: Standard Chinese. There are a million places exactly like this all over the country. That is not an insult. It is good. You will get good food exactly how you know it can be. You will not have your socks blown off though. Work was paying so I got too much...spring rolls, pork lo mein, spare ribs, french fries. Spring roll was fine. spare ribs were good and even the small portion is huge. I have no idea why I got french fries at a chinese restaurant...oh yeah...work was paying so why not. they were pretty good but needed salt. (chinese place needing sodium????? queue the twilight zone music) the pork lo mein was very good and still comes with fried rice which was a nice touch. fried rice wasnt that great but the lo mein was really good. I'd go back if i wanted chinese food i could walk to and I was in Vicksburg MS. read more

Good tasty. Flavor good but portion size for soup seemed a bit undersized. Wonton soup large size was about same size as regular size/ small size in most other restaurants. Would come back again but not for soups. read more

Coconut shrimp was not made correctly. I'm visiting Vicksburg from Alabama and I thought I could get a taste of home while here. I was very disappointed, Bei Jing in Alabama makes the best coconut shrimp and I'll stick to them from now on. read more

Friendly service but mediocre food. I had the thai casserole which was a bad choice on my part. I like all of the ingredients but not all mixed together. My husband had the cashew nut chicken and he said it was okay. The egg rolls are tasty. The iced tea had an odd flavor but the sweet lady running the place was eager to give plenty of refills. read more

Best chinese food in Vicksburg, MS. I frequent this place once a week! I always get my food to go, and it is ready in ten minutes! Cindy, the owner, is very nice and friendly. My food is always hot and delicious. The lunch special is cheap for $5 you get a lot of food and a drink. (Take that Subway!) Try the thai curry shrimp and the chicken on a stick. You won't be disappointed. read more

We're vacationing from CA and honestly did not have very high expectations for chinese food in Vicksburg. We were pleasantly surprised! We ordered the Lemongrass Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp, Mongolian Beef, Chicken Lo Mein, and BBQ Pork. The food was all very good, nice portions and reasonably priced. All the shrimps were big and plump. The small BBQ Pork was actually plenty. We had too much food left over for 3 adults and two children. Service was prompt but there was no one else in front of us. We ordered for takeout. Decor was nothing special. The 5 star rating is based mainly on food and value. read more

I can't say enough about this place! This is my "go to" place and we eat here ALOT. Cindy and her staff are the hardest working folks. Food is delicious and so reasonably priced. . What is even more amazing is her ability to remember what people order on a regular basis. She makes you feel like family and I love coming here. read more

From January to July of 2015, I was spending 90% of my time in Vicksburg due to work requirements. Living in a hotel room with no access to kitchen, I was a frequent visitor of Asian Kitchen. Overall I really enjoyed my visits to the restaurant. The lady shopkeeper and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The selection of the food was more than adequate for me, and the price was also very reasonable. It was a small, cozy place, and the staff kept things tidy and clean. I could not recall a case bad experience when I visited. These days I do not go to Vicksburg as often, but I still make sure to stop by when I am there. After having eaten in a number of restaurants in the Vicksburg area, I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. read more

This place was amazing. I honestly didn't expect much, because it just looks like another modest Chinese place. However, I was quickly surprised at the authenticity and quality of the food. It was very fresh, and it obviously wasn't just out of the freezer, or out from several hours under a heat lamp. I got a small order of egg drop soup, and a small order of pork lo mein. It was absolutely outstanding. This is the best Chinese place I've eaten at in the state of Mississippi, and one of the top 5 that I've eaten at in the whole country. read more

I was jaded by authentic Chinese restaurants after moving to Vicksburg from Rockville, MD and had to pick between four restaurants in town to get my Chinese fix. I have never been disappointed in my three long years spent in Vicksburg ordering from Asian Kitchen. The staff is very friendly and ensure their customers are staisfied. When I asked for a dish that was not on their menu, the chef happily made me a special order of something that was authentic and not Americanized without an issue. I do recommend this restaurant without reservation if you are looking for good food that will leave you filled and satisfied. read more

Service is the best. The food is awesome!!! Love the hot and sour soup. The owner will personally make sure your visit is worth the stop.

Very consistent I love this place! I would recommend Asian Kitchen to eat. It also has a great atmosphere.

Dumplings were great. Had sweet an sour chicken and it was bad. No pineapples, onions or bell peppers were in it and chicken was not fresh. Dirt /dust was all over the front window ledge inside. Who give these good reviews anyway? read more

I never want to write a comment but it pissed me off. They need to learn how to cook before opening a restaurant. I ordered a Padthai, Asian shrimp salad, wonton soup, tom yum noodles soup and I can't even fish anything. Before the food came out, we saw the other table they left with half of their dishes and now we know why. read more

My husband and I really eat here to much. Don't let the small dining area fool you it is a humble little Restuarant but the service is fabulous they are always so sweet. Above all the food is fabulous!! With a mix of Thai and Chinese dishes it gives you a great deal of options too. Perfect place to get a reasonably priced delicious meal. read more

Bad service. I ordered two dinners with egg rolls and a side egg roll. I did not receive my egg rolls and when I called to be credited for our missing food for our next visit they refused. We will not be returning. read more

Best Chinese in Vicksburg MS . everything is made to order, hot and fresh . I eat here at least 4 times a month and sometimes more. I've tried all the other Chinese places in Vicksburg and this is by far the best. I highly recommend it. Dine in or carry out. read more

I travel to Vicksburg for work regularly. There's only so much southern food this girl from NYC can eat. This place was very close to my hotel. Checked Yelp reviews and they were very positive so I decided to check this place out. Nice friendly family run business. Hunan Shrimp - lots of tasty shrimp and vegetables, thankfully not overcooked. Portions were large. They have some Thai dishes that look good. This is nothing exotic, just good Chinese food. I'll definitely go back. read more

Food was OK. Egg rolls not home made. Average to par for Chinese. One positive I look for was the health score was an A. This is a plus for me traveling on business, as well as important. read more
