We both ordered the AYCE (All you can eat) catfish mix. Greens were nicely seasoned, I love that the slaw was slightly sweet with sweet minced pickles in it, SO GOOD! I also like my hush puppies kinda sweet too, these were also very delicious and piping hot. The catfish mixed came out with one whole catfish and several strips which we much rather would prefer. Whole catfish once sits for a min can get soggy, so we like to only order one at a time, this was perfect! Fish was nicely seasoned, fried hard, flaky, and absolutely delish! I was doing my food dance haha. Everything was great! I loved the slaw and hush puppies so much that I ate my weight in that and was only able to do one plate of catfish, so I'll probably just get a catfish platter next time. The collard greens were seasoned just right and were so good that we kept requesting more for the table. My son and I shared the fried seafood platter with catfish, shrimp, and oysters. It also came with a side, and I chose the baked potato. Everything was cooked perfectly. The catfish was crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside, the shrimp were large and flavorful, and the oysters were delicious. There was plenty of food for both of us, making it a great value. The combination of friendly service, delicious food, and affordable prices makes this a place we'll definitely return to next time we're in Crystal Springs.
