BEST. EVER. I have never written a review before but I was so blown away by Iqbal. I hadn't gotten my rings professionally cleaned since I got them (7 years ago, oops.) and they came out looking absolutely brand new!!! He also did an incredible job at resizing them and was able to do 2 rings and have them back to me in a day. Overall, great experience and service. My husband and I absolutely LOVE this place. Got both of our wedding bands + my engagement ring here. I get so so many compliments on my ring for its uniqueness, beauty & sparkle. Strongly recommend the plan with the diamond rings since it includes replating and makes the ring feel brand new! Iqbal has a fantastic eye and even gave me a cleaner kit. Located on the 5th floor of the Boston exchange jewelry building off of Washington. We will recommend him to everyone. Even came in with a friend to have his 5 year old ring feeling brand new!!! read more

This is an overdue review for Iqbal and his family at Khan diamonds! I found Khan Diamonds through Yelp and it was incredibly easy for me to make an appointment for after work. My appointment with Iqbal was one of the most exciting experiences of my life - he not only showed me a wide array of diamonds but educated me on quality as well which I found incredibly helpful. He is a very calm and fair business man and there was never a point in the appointment where I felt pressured. When my now fiancé came in he echoed the same about Iqbal and said that the quality and size of the diamond he was able to purchase was significantly better compared to other vendors he had looked at. I cannot recommend Khan diamonds enough! read more

My fiancé and I proposed to each other, and each purchased the ring from Khan's! Could not be happier with them (and the whole experience). The rings have held up well months down the line. Can't wait to go back for our wedding bands! read more

My fiance purchased my diamond engagement ring from Khan Jewelers. My ring is unique, and was custom made. I am still in awe at how gorgeous it is, and the compliments are endless. I'm so thankful he found a trustworthy, reliable jeweler, as I know there are endless options. Obviously, I cannot speak to the pricing, but I'm sure my fiance must have considered it reasonable. We will certainly be back when the time comes to purchase wedding bands. read more

I had been researching diamonds and ring settings for a few months and everywhere that I had gone did not meet my expectations. When I first went into Khan Jewelers and met Iqbal I knew right away that this was the place I wanted to buy the engagement ring for my Fiance. Iqbal was very honest and caring when it came to designing the ring and choosing the diamond. I could tell from the beginning that my approval of the final product was very important to him. I told Iqbal exactly what I was looking for and he corresponded with me every step of the way by emailing me updates during every part of the design and creation of the beautiful ring. The final product exceeded my expectations and made my Fiance very happy. Thank you Iqbal! read more

I have nothing but positive things to say about Mr. Iqbal Khan. I found his business through his Yelp reviews. They were all very positive. I had gone to one jeweler on my own and to a chain store with my now fiancé. Having never been engaged before, I didn't know much about what style of ring I would like or what size stone, etc. I knew an engagement was coming and I wanted to have some input in the process. This ring will be on my hand forever :) We decided to visit Khan Diamonds based upon the Yelp reviews and never looked further. Iqbal was very pleasant to do business with and he worked with us to find the perfect ring and stone that worked within our budget for my engagement ring. My ring is amazing and I get complimented on it daily. We also purchased our wedding bands through Iqbal as well. He made them custom made, specifically my wedding band to match my engagement ring. And he custom made my fiancé's wedding band as well. We couldn't be happier with our experience and I look forward to our wedding day. Thank you Iqbal for all of your assistance to help us pick out the perfect rings. The pictures don't do the rings justice, my engagement ring is so sparkly and I find myself looking at it all the time! So very happy! read more

I was looking to upgrade the center stone on my engagement ring and was in the process of ordering a diamond from one of the big online stores. While doing an online search for a jeweler that would then replace the diamond on my ring, I stumbled on Khan Diamonds. Persuaded by the positive reviews, I gave the store a call. Mr. Khan was happy to do the job but believed he could beat the price for the diamond. I texted the web link and he soon replied with an offer of a bigger and better diamond at a lower price. Prior to that I had done my homework on diamond quality, so even as a novice I could compare both options and clearly, his was a better deal in terms of the 4C's and price. Mr. Khan also sent me screenshots highlighting the flaws on the diamond I was going to buy online (flaws that the online diamond consultant had failed to mention). I went to his store on appointment and saw the beautiful diamond he had recommended. I asked to see something else to compare with and he showed me another one that was slightly bigger with excellent polish and symmetry. With a quick negotiation, I got it for a little more I was going to spend online and have it mounted on my engagement ring. Given the reasonable prices of other jewelry he had in the store, I decided on a new wedding band to boot! Hubby agreed and I went back to pick up my order three days later. the set of rings was totally lovely! He provided the IGI diamond certificate, an appraisal for the rings and a quote for jewelry insurance (no pressure, totally up to me; still sitting on that one ). I strongly recommend Khan Diamonds for great customer service, reasonable prices and short turnaround time. AAA+ overall. read more

I landed at Khan diamonds last after checking a few stores around the Jewellers building. To say the least I'm glad I landed here. Mr. Khan knew exactly my budget was and what I was looking for, we looked at his database of diamonds from the suppliers directly, he showed me the exact cost price and the different specs for each. I was selecting a higher carat but he advised to go for a lower carat but more surface area cause I getting it placed on a halo cushion so the surface area mattered rather than the higher carat weight. He was very frank and honest with his rates, he charged the cost price for the diamond and setting with a fixed labor charge. I researched the same diamond online on blue Nile and other sites, Khan was lower by 300 than the cheapest site I found also the cut was excellent. His background is what impressed me, he owns the place and has been here for 15 years, also note he does this as a hobby which was very cool. He also is a certified appraiser and has a degree in gemology which was reflected in his talks and suggestions when making decisions of design, diamond setting and type. Having visited a few stores around, some appear pushy, try to up sell you something not certified or even have crazy rates, but with Khan I felt I could trust him. He taught me how to read the serial number on the diamond using the microscope (it's hard to read if you're new) which was GIA certified so that I wouldn't be fooled and I was getting what I paid for. After selecting the diamond and putting a deposit for it, we received it in a day (supplier was in NY),looked great! We went through looking at a few settings and finally I finalized on something which looked like the Harry Winston cushion halo. Belive it or not I forgot to carry my check book buy the diamond Hah! But Khan was awesome he asked me to make a small payment by cc and mail him the check and he'd pay the supplier. As soon as he got the check encashed, he made CAD designs and sent it. I sent my changes to him which was reducing the size of the diamonds around the halo so it doesn't take away from the diamond. He did a fantastic final CAD and in a few days he called me to check out the finished product (He does the setting himself) He also had a good sample for fonts for engraving which he did as well. He also guided me on insurance as he's affiliated with the Jewellers Exchange for insurance, my ring was insured right there on the ipad exclusively from the Jewellers exchange to Khan. The final product was awesome! It blew my mind. When I proposed, my girl was just amazed, the look and the reaction was priceless. She loved the ring, exactly finished the way she wanted. She has that smile on her face everytime it sparkles and says Thank you. In my head I go " Thank you Mr Khan" for making this dream a reality I would highly recommend having a conversation with him even if you don't buy something, his store is the most simplest in the building but the experience was stellar. I will attach pictures of the ring to go with this review. read more

Iqbal is a fabulous jeweler. I recently had a dozen or so rings resized and a custom ring designed: emerald-cut green tourmaline set alongside a pair of trapezoid-cut diamonds in 18k yellow gold. As a novice gem collector, I purchased the tourmaline and brought it to Iqbal to inquire about a three-stone setting. I brought an inspiration photo, and he was able to match it wonderfully. He maintains a large selection of loose diamonds and gems, so I was able to choose among a number of loose trapezoid diamond pairs he had in stock to complement the main stone. I am so pleased with his service. Above that, he's a wonderful conversationalist with a vast knowledge of gems. Anyone looking to make custom jewelry, learn about diamonds or gems, or find a wonderful loose gem to cherish, go visit Iqbal; he's likely to have what your looking for, or he can find it! read more

This is the groom's review FWIW: Super helpful, patient, knowledgeable. Sent me pictures throughout the design process. My fiancé and I had the most wonderful experience here! We stumbled upon this jeweler looking for wedding bands. Iqbal was the most helpful, kind, and knowledgeable jeweler. He made the process so easy and seamless. We definitely didn't think we were going to purchase our bands that day but the selection was amazing for both men's and women's bands and at an affordable price. We never ever felt pressured to buy during the process. We cannot wait to see the final product in a few weeks! Highly recommend Iqbal and Khan Diamonds! read more

So pleased !!! After having an egregious experience at another jeweler; I was apprehensive to try a new one. I am so grateful I found this gem in the jewelers building! Buying jewelry can be scary, often sales associates can be pushy. The owner took care of my husband and I, he was helpful and thorough, answered all of our questions and put my diamond in the setting we choose within hours! He also educated us about insuring our jewelry and upkeep! I felt comfortable and knew I was getting the best deal possible, and reassured my diamond was safe and not leaving the building! I would highly recommend coming here and I can't wait to come back! I am very meticulous about my service, I am thrilled!! read more

Iqbal did a fantastic job on my engagement ring! He understood the type of aesthetic and design I wanted just through my descriptions of "simple, elegant, not flashy". He had several diamond options for us to look at when we visited his store, and was very fair in his prices (I checked around other stores for similar quality diamonds). We never felt pressure to "upgrade" our diamond, and in fact Iqbal explained why it didn't make sense to pay more for a more "white" diamond since I wanted yellow gold. Iqbal is very responsive via email and text and was super patient with all of my questions and worries. My fiancé proposed with a stand-in ring, so we were hoping to get the real ring within 3 weeks in time for an engagement part - and miraculously Iqbal made it happen! Thank you! read more

I rarely write Yelp reviews, and I am writing this review 2 years after buying my fiancé's wedding ring from Khan Diamonds. This guy is the best!!!!! My fiancé was super picky about her engagement ring. I mean super picky! We visited over 15 jewelry places and she was not satisfied. Luckily, we stumbled upon Khan's Diamond shop and he was able to help my fiancé get the wedding ring of her dreams. As a broke medical student at the time, Khan was so nice to offer a discount on the ring, and even offered to customize the ring (raised halo cut diamond around a morganite center stone) to fit her taste. My fiancé gets sooooo many compliments every day about her ring and I am so happy. This guy is the best!! read more

I have a jewelry guy now--his name is Iqbal! A co-worker recommended Iqbal after he had a great experience designing his fiancé's engagement ring. I was impressed with his craftsmanship and liked the idea of a custom order made locally in Boston. I came to him with general design ideas and a pretty short timeframe. Iqbal gave me a great deal on a beautiful GIA diamond and set it in a custom, engraved setting that my FIANCÉ absolutely loves. He turned it around in only a week, and stands by his work 100%. He doesn't do gimmicky lighting and he won't try to sell you nonsense--he'll logically walk you through options and get you the best C's for the buck. I expected to spend more for less rock. I will absolutely be coming back to see Iqbal for the wedding bands, and any other jewelry purchases in the future. read more

I'd never send a friend (or even a foe!) anywhere else. This is a family business that operates like one - and that's a compliment! Iqbal is not only great at his job, but he is also a great person who is fair and honest and in this for more than just the money. This isn't just a transaction to him. He truly enjoys the stories and the people that come into his store. And if you head in multiple times, you'll likely meet his family as well. Just an all-around extraordinarily pleasant shopping experience. More than I ever could have asked for! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend! read more

My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience working with Mr. Khan. While I wasn't involved in the design process for my engagement ring, I am super happy with the end product. I love my ring and I can't imagine it any other way! He even helped me add a little infinity symbol to it after the fact as a small special touch. We recently visited to look at wedding bands - there was a great selection, so much so that we had a hard time making our final decisions. My fiancé ended up purchasing a really sleek dark tungsten band and I went with the more traditional wedding set. These bands came out great as well. Every time I visit, I've experienced exceptional customer service. Mr. Khan always offers to help me clean my ring and check for loose stones. Friendly, knowledgeable, and quality jeweler in an incredibly convenient location. Highly recommend! read more

We were searching for platinum wedding bands, but as people who generally don't purchase jewelry, we were a little leery of some of the big chain stores. Based on positive online reviews for Khan's we decided to shop there first. I'm very glad we did. Iqbal has a nice collection of custom platinum bands of every style and size. The custom bands we ordered were ready as Iqbal promised, about 3 weeks later. The quality is very high and the prices were reasonable. There was a minor sizing adjustment that was corrected on site within half an hour. As a side note, it seems to be fashionable these days for some businesses to treat same sex couples as second class customers, but we always were treated with the utmost professionalism at Khan's. My fiancé knew he wanted to go to the jeweler building in downtown crossing to have his mother's engagement ring reset. The ring came out beautiful and he was really impressed with Iqbal Khan, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. We went back to Khan's for our wedding bands, and loved the section. There were so many options, I even found a wedding band that looks like it was a set for my engagement ring. In addition to the wedding bands, I had Iqbal reset my grandmother's ring in white gold and replace two of the diamonds that had fallen out. I was very happy with the ring, it was beautiful. I can't say enough good things about Khan Diamonds and Iqbal! I bought my fiancé's engagement ring from here after a recommendation to check out Khan Diamonds from a friend, and both my fiancé and me are so happy with the ring. Throughout the buying process Iqbal was great - he didn't try to take me out of my budget or up-sell me. He showed me the options I had with my budget and made me feel very comfortable/assured about the biggest purchase I've made in my life. I did my research and was at first thinking I would buy a diamond online, but Iqbal's price was very competitive. And knowing I had a real jeweler to come to after the purchase in case something came out different than what I expected was a great comfort. Also, Iqbal did a great job customizing the band exactly how I wanted it, and even sent me mock up images of what it would look like so I knew I'd be happy with the final result. The final result was stunning and my fiancé loved the ring. She's gone back to Iqbal for cleanings and we'll definitely be back to buy our wedding bands! read more

I had inherited a diamond ring from my husband's grandmother that was in a style I'd never wear, but out of respect for her I didn't want to just sell it. The diamond ring was a center stone with 34 tiny diamonds in a pattern all around it. I reached out to Iqbal because I wanted someone who was both an appraiser and a designer- I wanted someone who would be able to tell me if the time spent taking out those stones would cost way more than replacing the whole thing. My now fiancé and I could not have been luckier to wander into Kahn Diamonds when we were looking for a jeweler to custom design our rings. Admittedly, I am a picky customer and I was skeptical at first because we had just had a terrible experience with a well known jewelry company in town. I brought a hand drawn picture of an engagement ring we had designed with me. When I pulled it out and started describing exactly what we wanted, Eric was confident that he could accomplish it. He knew exactly what he was talking about and easily answered all of my questions without hesitation. We were able to get an immediate quote for our custom engagement ring and wedding bands and he started the process immediately! He also works directly with all of the designers so it was an effortless process and we were never stuck in the middle waiting to see if someone could make the rings the way we wanted them. Working with Eric was such a pleasure and he showed us step by step how the rings would be custom made. He kept us updated throughout the entire process and responded immediately to any questions we had! When we went to pick up the final product I was shocked. It was perfect and looked exactly like what we drew! In the end his prices were fair and the quality of the work was outstanding! I could not be happier and get daily compliments on my engagement ring!! I can't wait until we can wear our beautiful custom bands! If you need an experienced professional to talk to about diamonds or even about designing a ring I would highly encourage you to go to Kahn Diamonds! P.S. I accidentally scratched my wedding band when I was trying it on at home one week later and Eric told me to bring my jewelry in at any time to have it polished!
