The windows are big and it feels like when you eating in a cozy living room. There is also a terrace where you can have you dinner outside. For only 35 euro's you can choose your own 3-courses dinner! The kitchen is French, but also have some Spanish and Asian influences. Next to the organic meat and fish, there are also delicious oysters as an appetizer, vetarian dishes and also incredible desserts which you definately cannot skip! The front is a busy bar which had a hip crowd, a nice selection of gin (which I unfortunately food not sample). In the back there are tables providing an atmosphere more suited for conversation. Service was fast and attentive, and gave us a table for one hour (since we had not made any reservation). This was no problem since since and food came promptly. Food was reasonable in price and great tasting, although some would find the portions small. I found them just right. Get some home made French fries on the side if you are hungry. At the end the single espresso was really good. Recommended.

They were extremely apologetic when they mistakenly served me a burger with mayo after I explained I was allergic to eggs. Maybe I've grown accustomed to the "modest" level of service in Amsterdam but the responsiveness of this staff to this mistake was beyond what I expected. The burger though was just ok. Too salty. Overdone for my taste. The bun was odd and chewy. I did like the tomato relish they used as a replacement for mayo. The fries were not special. My fellow diner complained at how literal the goat cheese salad was. Mixed greens with a bunch of goat cheese. Not much else. My recommendation...go for a drink. Check it out. Really the design of the interior is worth a stop. Take a risk with the menu and maybe you'll find something you'll like.

I have tried their famous hamburger with fries and I am a fan!! The hamburger was big and juicy with very nice spicy relish on the top of it. They serve it with a portion of fries on the side. The prices are ok, within the limit for this type of establishment. Staff is very friendly and helpful even when it gets very crowded. It is a great place for drinks and a quick bite with some friends.

I never crave them in the states, but in Amsterdam the craving became a beast I had to reckon with. All of the restaurants that advertise "pancakes" are actually serving what Americans call crepes. I was disappointed until we stumbled upon Toast It! It's freaking adorable, first off, the interior decor with mint striped seats and 50's neon signs are begging to be photographed. The food was pictured-worthy too. I regret not getting the milkshake after seeing the pictures all over their Instagram page. Of course, I ordered the pancakes, which come with sliced bananas, strawberries and blueberries on top. The pancakes were exactly what I have been looking for. A stack of three thick, fluffy pancakes, crispy on the edges and melt-in-your-mouth soft in the middle. I got a side of bacon too because ya know, protein. This stop is a must if you're craving toasties or pancakes, any time of day.

I have never had to agonize over Amsterdam standards of service just to get a cup of coffee. The outdoor seating is gezzelig like whoa. When it's cold, walk in for really comfortable furniture. I usually go here for a coffee before my movie at the adjacent theater. The staff has my coffee over in less than 5 minutes, irrespective of how crowded it is. Prices are average, and they are also a great place to host your own private parties. I hope I didn't just make this restaurant super busy for my future trips!
