And I mean ever, not intermittently so I wouldn't expect them to say it's currently working, Should be a straightforward warranty repair. It was not. * Had to wait a full MONTH just to get an appointment. * Dropped it off and they immediately insisted "we can't duplicate the concern, everything works fine." I argued with the service advisor for days while they held the car hostage. * We have a 4-week-old newborn and needed a safe, reliable car for doctor appointments. Because they refused to provide a loaner, we had to spend hundreds on a rental car. * A few days later they finally admitted I was right and they could now "recreate" the problem, but said they can't even look at fixing it until sometime next week--nothing on backorder, they just don't feel like working on it until after the weekend. Picked the car up temporarily so we'd have something to drive and they hit me with a $300 bill for an oil change, wiper blades, and a "multi-point inspection" which is just stupid, Took an entire day on hold and being transferred just trying to get someone to speak to my wife directly. Once they realized she was stuck at home with a newborn and couldn't come in, the attitude got even worse--like they knew we had no leverage. Every single negative Google review about this place is spot-on. Predatory, dismissive, and zero sense of urgency or customer care. I've already drafted a certified letter to Hyundai Motor America with my paperwork and screenshots of the hundreds of similar complaints, asking them to investigate this dealership. Save yourself the rage, time, and money--drive the extra distance to literally any other Hyundai service department. This place is consistently awful.

I was asked to file the claim under my insurance and your dealership would pay my deductible. My insurance agent said ABSOLUTELY NOT. I should not have had to make a claim against my own insurance policy for a dealership's mistake. That's why they have business insurance. I asked them to buy my car and the used sales manager refused to offer me what I owed on my car. I owed 17k and was only offered 15k for a car that was now hamstrung by a CarFax incident that was not of my doing. My car was exceptionally clean and well maintained. I was out of work for three weeks because I couldn't use the loaner for Lyft work. I was supposed to be grateful that you repaired my vehicle and I was expected to be satisfied with a loaner that was a cheap imitation of my touring hybrid. There was zero offer of compensation for my loss of work. I was able to trade my car to another dealership for what I owed. They turned my car around and sold it in one day for 21.5k and received all the "grabs" that a dealership uses to help pad the price higher with "value added items". You could still have had me as a customer, but I'll never take another vehicle into service because of this. I still own another Honda and will take it elsewhere. I apologize to John Quillin and Chris for this review, because they did the best he could for me considering the circumstances. But everyone else involved, you did nothing to keep me as a customer.

They come off as being very friendly and helpful, but they prey on your vulnerability. Long story short I went to Waldorf Ford and picked out a car. I had been in a car accident and received money from the Insurance company and obtained a car loan from the credit union. Waldorf Ford told me that I couldn't have what I wanted because the price I was offering was too low. So I went to Laplata Ford, they were welcoming and agreed to my offered price. I noticed there were scratches on the car and it also needed tires. The manager agreed to take care of this, in the coming days. The only thing replaced were the tires. Approximately 20 days after I had the car, I got a call from the LaPlata accounting office of the dealership stating that I owe $14,000. I told her no, I had paid everything in full. Then she proceeded to call me the next week stating that I need to pay the money that I owed them or return the car. The young man who processed my paperwork had subtracted $14,000, twice on my paperwork. I told her that I would be returning the car on Friday afternoon. I returned the car, thinking that I would get my money back and the accounting department would pay off my loan in an expeditious manner. After all, we paid them the same day.   Today, Oct 16, 2024, I have not received any money or credit for my car loan. This is unacceptable and unprofessional customer service. I would advise anyone looking to buy a car to do your research and stay away from these incompetent and inefficient group of crooks.

I worked with Sean the Sales Associate and he was very patient and honest about what he thought was best for me. The owner of the dealership Mike and the finance manager also named Mike were both very pleasant and professional. Since it was my first time financing a vehicle, I had a lot of questions and concerns about buying a car and also needed to return a leased vehicle at the end of this month. The three gentlemen were very patient and took good care of me and answered all my questions. I even got a chance to meet Judy, I believe the HR/Accounting manager and she was very helpful and made me feel at home. I knew these people weren't after my money because they really listened to my needs and concerns as a consumer and actually told me a car I wanted which was much more expensive than what they recommended would not be suited for my lifestyle. These people are honest and know what they are talking about! Once I chose the right car for me and signed all the paperwork, they even helped me change my auto insurance policy and return my leased vehicle at the correct dealership because I wasn't familiar with any of that! Upon leaving, I saw all of the people I worked with wiping their sections down which made me feel safer knowing they probably did that before I got there as well. GO TO SELECT AUTO IMPORTS! Shopped around with other local dealerships but no one compared to the genuine, honest communication we received from Murad. The finance department was fair, efficient and transparent as well. I was able to find the perfect pre-owned vehicle for me -- an Audi Q5. I'm beyond appreciative for the professionalism and sincerity I received during this process. Thanks again Select Auto!
