I have had absolutely no problem with the care I've received - in fact, I don't want to leave his practice, but his changeover to the MDVIP program has made it necessary. MDVIP is a practice-management program in which patients are charged $1800 per year to keep seeing their doctor (on top of normal fees charged by the office), in exchange for which the patient receives a number of boutique services, none of which I need or want. I would much prefer to keep seeing Dr. Ehrmann as I have been, without the extra charges or extra services, but (a) $1800 per year would be a stretch for me, and (2) there's no reason for me to pay extra for services I don't want. There doesn't seem to be an option for folks like me who like Dr. Ehrmann but can't or won't pay nearly two thousand dollars extra to stay in the practice.
