When I went for my appointment at 11am, they were in the middle of hosting a running event. Music…read morewas blaring, my barber was constantly running back and forth for the event, and he was posting on Instagram at the same time as cutting my hair. Not going to name names because I get that maybe he got caught up in the event. I just feel like all of this could've easily been avoided by not taking appointments at the same time as when the shop's running a big event. The cut itself was good - definitely a step above the normal Asian salon I go to - but I wouldn't say it was worth $100. Maybe around $60 is what I'd feel comfortable paying.

He said he'd attend to me quickly -- 30 minutes later, I said I was leaving. He very politely asked me to wait and promised he was almost done, so I waited another 10 minutes and then he finally finished. Today, the same thing happened again but with a different employee. When we arrived, he was just starting with another client and said he'd be done in 15 minutes. Guess what? I waited 30 minutes and he was nowhere near done. They do not take their clients seriously and clearly have no respect for our time. Never coming back!

I honestly can't thank Anthony enough…read more I had just gotten my haircut about 30 minutes before coming here, and it was completely messed up. I was embarrassed and just wanted someone who could fix it. I walked in, explained what happened, and Anthony immediately made me feel comfortable. He was super down-to-earth, listened to all of my concerns, and reassured me that he'd get everything taken care of. Before he even started, he walked me through exactly what he was going to do and why. We had a great conversation the entire time, which made the experience even better. When he finished and handed me the mirror, I was genuinely relieved. My haircut looked great, and I finally felt confident again. What really stood out to me was that Anthony didn't even want to charge me because he was fixing another barber's mistake. That says a lot about his character. I insisted on paying him because his time and skill are valuable, and he absolutely earned it. He gained a loyal customer today, and I'll definitely be coming back. If you're looking for someone who's talented, honest, and genuinely cares about his clients, ask for Anthony. You won't be disappointed.

absolutely horrible experience. idk if its a Vagaro scheduling issue if thats what we're calling it…read moreor simply unprofessional stylist. Woke up early today Saturday to take my mother for her first ever hair appt scheduled for 9. We get there 9:12 (i believe) and theres a stylist there already working. States the stylist Sarah is on her way. To me is a red flag as if youre doing color & highlights your station would at least be prepped already.. we waited sitting there till 9:45 hoping she would show up..never showed up. The stylist there was kind enough to call her again (no answer) and offered my mom help but i declined. We set this appointment up for her as we have a party later today and had the time slot specifically for this. Waste of time & waste of a drive to sit there for about 40 minutes hoping she would show. This literally ruined the day. Didnt get a follow up call or nothing. Like i said idk if its a schedule issue or something that i did on my end wrong? but i have the screenshot of the email & confirmation of the appt for today.

I was lucky enough enough to secure an appointment with Shai. To be completely honest, as I walked to her chair- I thought to myself, "What are you doing?!" It was such a risk cutting my hair the day before my wedding by someone who had never touched my hair before. Shai quickly put me at ease. SHE IS INCREDIBLE. She listened to what I wanted, assessed my hair and was very clear in what she recommended. She gave me the most incredible haircut. My hair is now in bouncy bob with movement and I could not be happier. She gave me exactly what I wanted without me even knowing this is what I wanted. The salon is very clean and calm and has plenty of parking. They also have great hours and I believe even offer appointments on Mondays. Thank you SHAI, I can't wait to come see you again!!!

When we did: no cancellation unless they filled the slot, and no refund of the price difference if we switched to a cheaper haircut -- his reasoning being that a haircut "takes longer." We showed up anyway, and another family arrived for a mundan at our exact time slot. Asked for the refund again. Suddenly their appointment was "15 minutes later" and he'd just told them to come early. He agreed in person to refund the difference, then flatly denied saying it once the haircut was done -- a haircut that took less time than a mundan. He also used the same equipment from his adult clients on our 16-month-old without changing or sanitizing it. Goalposts moved at every step, zero accountability, and rude about it with young kids standing right there. Don't prepay.

No greeting, no asking if it was his first cut, no effort to make a toddler comfortable. Just a threat. We told her it wasn't his first haircut, and she still kept repeating it. A 3-year-old might wiggle. That's not a surprise, that's the job. If you can't handle kids, don't take them.
