They withhold the first week of your pay until you either quit or accept another job. They have no empathy if you have a personal problem that you must attend. I do not recommend them. In addition recruiter tried to short change me $1.00 when he realized I was Hispanic. Really??? Prior to the contract end date they didn't even have the decency to call me. I'm a KForce employee applying to jobs on their website and not able to obtain work. After positive feedback from.the company. The company I was under contract with does not want their business and decided to go with another employment agency. This is due to lack of communication. Expense dept was reluctant to address my technical issues which took 4 months to resolve. I would not recommend. They contacted me about a contract position. The company hired someone direct, contract was terminated fine I get it happens. I asked the recruiter if there was anything else. I haven't heard from them until today asking when I was sending the equipment back to the first company. I said when I am available to do so. I received the box last night and they expected it today idk. But I have a life and other obligations that were planned before the box arrived. All she was concerned about was the equipment fine no problem, no mention about any other potential job. Stay away from this place and any offer they try to give you. Very unprofessional. read more

I imagine this lack of communication would be grounds for termination with one of their partners, yet is tolerated from them. When I was contacted by K-force I was excited about starting a new position with the company. This was a new service that they were offering so we do not have any prior knowledge on how things need to be done. I was there for about a month or so and I get a call from my recruiter about a how things are going. I thought they were going ok since I am doing the same amount of work that everyone else was doing. My first recruiter stated that they were asking for maybe a little more production. I stated that I will do my best and left it at that. I started working and doing what I can in this new position that has never been done before to get more computers imaged and out the door. About a week goes by and the second recruiter "Daniel" calls me and asks how things are going and I said that I believe they are going ok. "Daniel" stated that interesting that you say that because they are looking to replace you (these are his words). I was shocked. I asked him for what things I need to improve on and he stated that they did not say, they just need more production. My question is how can I improve on something if I do not know that that something is?! So I stated sending emails to my on everything that I have been doing to my recruiter "Daniel". I told him that I would be sending it Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to keep him up to date. On a Thursday "Daniel" calls me and stated that he has not seen an email from me. I stated that I sent one on Wednesday and will send one on Friday. He stated that the company wants to terminate my contract stating that they are not seeing any production. Now I am doing the same amount of work that the others are doing. Needless to say I was very upset and have decided NEVER to work for Kforce again. **** Posting for my friend **** K force is one of the best staffing agencies out there. They respond quickly and they are honest with you. I also liked how they gave me different roles to work with. Unlike other staffing agencies they would not assign you to another role simply because you was working with another recruiter. What???? It just doesn't make sense! I was working with 3 recruiters at the same time and they did not mind at all. K force has landed me in a position where I want to be during this early stage of my career! I am questioning any company that asks for Personal Identifiable Information in a first contact. The recruiter called me and asked for my birth date and last four digits of my Social Security Number just to set up an interview. This is illegal. No one should give any company PII information unless they are hiring you and giving you an offer letter. Even if they were checking a security clearance you should only send that in an encrypted email but preferably over the phone. As a hiring manager, I know for sure that this information is not needed to decide if someone is right for the job. When I questioned the need for a staffing company to have a database full of potential staff with PII, they blamed it on their client, Kaiser Permanete. As someone who has been a victim of identity theft by a data breach, I couldn't believe that KP would require a staff company to get such info simply for an interview. I have contacted an attorney and will be following up with KP directly. I am giving this because I want potential job seekers to be aware that in these times staff companies and other LLC and fakes companies are pretending to have a job to get you to give your information for identity theft. Again, no PII information is necessary for a simple interview. If they don't offer you the position, will they destroy your PII information?? I don't trust KForce AT ALL. read more

Lack of communication and support from my Recruiter Ray Ramos, as well as, HR in regards to an incident I had with Related Management. A hostile environment issue involved with an Related Management employee (KForce washed their hands of the situation and looked the other way). I was still employed with them and till this day I have not received any communication regarding the incidents i encountered there. I have never met Ray, go figure; assignment extensions were facilitated by my communication with the employer and then I communicated with him, when I moved to a position with more responsibility he was trying not to pay me more until I let him know that I wasn't interested unless there was a raise in my rate because of more job responsibilities. After I left the position, it took them a months to send me the unemployment documentation, this is after several emails with HR and Ray. It took a month to receive my personal item that was left at the assignment. I had to travel to retake my drug test (i.e. blamed on the facility losing it), and still have not figured out where all of my online paystubs or how to retrieve them from last year. Based on past postings from people with low ratings of this company I can attest that KForce is staying consistent!" KForce is a force to be avoided! read more

Recruiter gave me wrong address to interview and had to reschedule. After interview they said they will follow up. They did not. I actually had to call them back to see if there was an update. Ivan has his own hidden agenda when talking to me after an interview. This agency is horrible. They dont return phone calls, there are always jobs available for this agency but for whatever reason, they dont call you for these positions, even if you qualify for them. And if you call them about those positions, they'l tell you they're not available even though they're already posted online. Very disorganized and unprofessional staff who work there. Another thing I dont like about this agency is that they escort you your new job the 1st day. As a grown adult, I find that weird and kind of insulting. How old are we...10? I also dont like the fact that everthing from this agency is online. Timesheets, W2 forms etc etc. Worse than that, the staff cant give you clear directions on how to fill out W2s and online paper work. Please guys, dont waste your time with this agency. As a Quality Professional I see this organizations approach to be questionable, driven by internal forces that are not favorable to the potential candidates and certainly not favorable to the corporate clients they profess to serve. I was virtually screened out of the process b/c I was not amenable to have them run drug testing and background checks on me prior to having any promising leads to an actual employer. They were confusing as well as inept in some areas. My phone calls to better understand what it was they were proposing and why would I want my personal information in their data base w/o any promising prospect was met with the equivalent of "duh". The overt agenda here is that they are striving to pair the appropriate candidates with the best job opportunities, but it is clear that the covert agenda is to make commissions by ram jamming things into place. It is a numbers game and has little to do with anything else. In the overall exchange my final communication from them was that a manager would be contacting me to "explain"....but that never happened and I know why. I work as a contract recruiter and they worked with a former client of mine. Reached out to the client for feedback and their interaction with Kforce was negative also. Kforce uses excellent technology for their onboarding which makes things faster and smarter to get started. Unfortunately, they pay horrible rates. I tried to negotiate a higher pay rate due to the Fortune 500 company they recruited me for but they said it would be impossible to pay me more money. The salary was very low for this top financial services company and I was very disappointed but I took the assignment because I needed to start working right away. They told me it would be a 4-month project but it ended after 2 1/2 months. I was happy that I got to work for only a few months but they really need to get their information right from the start. read more

She emails you, asks for your resume, says she's happy to discuss but only asks questions through emails. Once she gets your resume and is done emailing you back and fourth multiple times to ask all her questions, she disappears, never picks up her phone or gives you a clear response if you are qualified for the job or not. They have been posting the same job offers at Monster for more than a year (at least), and I assume they don't have those jobs at all. I went to the interview with a recruiter about a year ago, he took my info, and I've never heard from him after that. My emails remain unanswered. No one replies even when I email to their main address. I get no response on my resume even if a position they advertise fits me perfectly. Sorry, but no respect for work like that. read more

Beware of this place!! They told me one rate (the rate that was posted on the ad) before and another rate after I got the job. They called me 2 DAYS before the starting date that they could only pay me at a rate that was 17% less than the initial rate. I turned down jobs that were paying close to the initial rate for this job. FYI: I saw the invoice that they billed the client and they they paid me around 50% of what they billed the client. I agree with Tony M. It was so weird that the recruiter insisted that he had to meet me at the client's building lobby and escorted me up to the client's office. This was weird and very UNPROFESSIONAL. We are professionals, we are not kids that need our mommies and daddies to drop us off for our first day of school. This agency seems to be extremely disorganized. Everything needed to be done online but they have one of the worst online systems. None of the staffs in NYC office knows anything about the boarding procedures. It seems like everything is done by its FL office and their FL staffs didn't seems like they knew what they were doing. No one asked me about direct deposit. It took them a month and countless emails to set up something as simple as direct deposit. They mailed me my pay stubs along with my checks before the direct deposit went through and they stopped sending me my pay stubs after that. The pay stubs were not available online and I emailed/spoke with so many people in the FL office but no one could give me a clear direction on how to get a copy of my pay stubs. The engagement was over and still no luck with the pay stubs :(. I've worked with other agencies before and never experienced anything like this. Also, provide them your salary target ONLY. Don't give them your salary history because they will give it to the client so the client can low ball you when it come salary negotiation. read more
