This place needs some serious help. 40+ mins from entering until I had my food. Watched many people leave never even ordering. The inside cashier is running back and forth between the counter, drive thru and the kitchen. The cook is going in and out taking food to cars that are parked. The tables are nasty. This is one of the nastiest kfcs I've ever been to. Like they have no code to how they prepare the food the chicken always taste and looks like it's been taken out of the dumpster 3 days prior. I don't know why we even bother still coming here because every time we have came in the past 10 years the service and wait is always bad. Today was the tipping point when the lady at the window was having attitude and confusing herself at the order speaker and then straight up snapped at my husband, "That's what I said" when he told her what he had ordered because she got it wrong. And he only said something because she was arguing with the kitchen staff on the order when we were at the OPEN window, because they obviously knew what he ordered. She then proceeds to yell back at the staff to sauce his tenders. It wasn't even a big deal! My husband apologized but it wasn't even his fault she confused herself! She was trying when she almost threw our bag at us too! "Here" and almost throws the bag in the car. Shoved it swinging inches in front of my husband's face! It took all the goodness in me not to throw that bag right back at her. I called corporate today. I hope they follow up. I had three kids in the car and the lady at the window was very sweet. Her co worker/manager was awful. It was 38.06. I realized after I gave her $40 I had 6 cents. So when she opens the window I asked if I could trade the change she had in her hand plus the 6 cents for a dollar. This other girl came up acting sooooo rude And like a you know what. Telling me She can't open the drawer again. I should have figured it out and gave her the money I wanted to give her to begin with. I was stunned. Had the girl just said she couldn't open it I woulda said no prob. Ordered some food for my family on the way to Fort Yargo. There was no wait when I went. They got the order right and the food was amazing and they were really fast with getting it to me when I pulled up to the window! We ordered a 8pc bucket extra crispy with coleslaw mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese and it also of course comes with their biscuits and everything was great! We placed a pick up order at 9:01 thinking they were closing at 10 and it was almost $30. When we got to the place to pick it up, there was a sign that said they closed at 9. We were not informed about this after placing our order, when normally if an order is placed after closing time, the restaurant would call to let them know and refund the persons money. I have been door dashing for about a year. In that time, I have dealt with some crappy fast food employees, but I have NEVER seen a rudder employee than the manager at the KFC in Winder. I got there at about 9:15 and as I was reaching for the door, I saw the sign that says "Lobby closed at 9." Before I could turn away, an employee opened it. I asked her if I needed to go through the drive through to pick up my customers food. She said I could come in and get it. The food was already waiting for me in the lobby but the drinks were not there. I asked one of the employees for the drinks and she went to make them. Then the manager literally said "Why is he in my store." I said I was waiting on my customers drinks. She told me to go through the drive through to get the drinks. I refused to do so and she told me I wasn't going to tell her that in her store. I told her again I was not going to go through the drive through for 2 sweet teas my customer had already paid for. So she goes to the kitchen and LOUDLY starts talking smack about me and yelling at me. I told her she was not going to talk to me the way she speaks to her employees. Ever since she took over that store a few months ago I have witnessed her yelling at them and demeaning them IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. Anyone who has her attitude problem should not have a job working with the public and ESPECIALLY should not be supervising other people! I may have bitten my tongue when I witnessed her mistreating her employees but I absolutely will not tolerate her speaking to me that way! read more

I just read another review, and I definitely agree that if I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would. Every time I go to the restaurant, there's a problem. This recent experience, I was driving for Grubhub. Previously when I'd take orders at this location, they'd force me to go through Drive-Thru to pick up the order, but now they require you to go inside. Prior to me arriving, I did neglect to read the signs posted, but the person at the speaker was very rude about it. "Go inside the side door." and clicked off the line. I proceed inside and one of the employees (I wish I'd took her name down) met me at the counter and slid the items across the counter and proceeded to walk off. As she was walking away, I tried to ask her if all of the condiments were inside the bag, and rudely she said the condiments were all there, as she was walking away. She never looked back and acknowledged me, nothing. Very rude customer service. Also, make sure to check your bag BEFORE you leave because they are KNOWN for excluding items you may have asked for. read more

She is the rudest woman I have ever met in my life! she was snarky and you could tell she couldn't care less about her job! she got part of my order wrong and when I nicely corrected her she was very rude to me and very combative. And then while the window was open while she thought I couldn't hear her I guess proceeded to roll her eyes and talk badly about me to another coworker. Sadly after a while of not having KFC..went and ordered a family meal original. Used the drive thru..and ordered. We were informed the biscuits would take 5 minutes and if we could park ahead. After 6 minutes it was delivered to our car. The attendants were very courteous. But sadly the order was wrong . we received crispy and not original recipe. It was overcooked slightly burned. The mashed potatoes were not smooth and the biscuits so so. I was sadly disappointed. Every single time me and my boyfriend go to kfc, they ALWAYS mess up our order. We always have to turn around and go all the way back because they NEVER get it right. And I'm not talking about once or twice, I'm literally talking about ten or thirteen times in a row now they have fucked it up. They will even read the order back to us, and it's right. I ordered lunch from the drive-thru on 9/19/18 at approximately 2:10 p.m. Not only was the middle aged woman who took my order in an extremely bad mood but she immediately took her bad mood out on me while I was trying to place my order. After paying her for the food, she announced that the restaurant was out of cup holders while handing me the three drink cups and my entire food order, (3 chicken sandwiches, 4 sides of potato wedges and 3 cookies) or what I thought was the entire food order, shoved into one greasy, torn bag. When I returned home to inspect my food, I discovered I was missing two cookies, an order of potato wedges and the hot chicken sandwich. She also neglected to give me the receipt for the $18.17 this oily, crushed mess cost. This Winder location is one of the worst KFC restaurants in the area, it always has been and, judging by the horrible service I received today, nothing has changed. I only wish I could give this location zero stars and strongly advise everyone to avoid this restaurant like the plague! read more
