Bad service. I waited 10 minutes before even acknowledged. Walking slow as dirt then the worker is complaining to co worker about a guy that's been waiting for 25 minutes for a pot pie an said something about me waiting 10 minutes. The place is filthy. Staff is slow and uncaring. Staff ignores customers in the building. I waited 20 minutes to pick up a to-go order and watched another customer waiting to place his order for the entire 20 minutes I waited. The food is not good enough for that kind of wait. It's supposed to be fast food. Also watched 3 employees standing around having a personal conversation instead of cleaning the filth in the food service area. No management whatsoever!! read more

This KFC has fallen from grace - its interior is rather dated and tables have been left uncleaned for extended periods of time, the self-serve drink station was a mess, the chicken breasts I received were barely covered with Original Recipe coating which was rather bland-tasting anyways, and the bathrooms were dirty. This Williamsport location has been here since I can ever remember. Perhaps it is scheduled for a renovation, as many KFC's have been; I just hope it is renovated soon or closed. If you can, skip this and go to the newly-renovated KFC in Lock Haven or the all-you-can-eat KFC buffet in Lewisburg. read more

Had a horrible visit where my meal took FOREVER and my wedges we're supposed to be brought to the table. They never brought them out and I finished my meal. Really didn't expect to get them, but I went up to the counter to let them know I didn't receive them. I was then told that she would get them right out to me. She then started to take orders as I stood and waited for them and eventually I just gave up and walked out. I'm not sure why I decided to return, but I did...the service was essentially just as bad the second time. It seems as if everything is so unorganized and scattered that it takes them forever to produce the order. On top of that, the order was incorrect but I just took it rather than waiting for it to be made right. It just doesn't seem like customer service is a priority. read more

Normally I wouldn't bother reviewing a fast food chain, but this one deserves it. Do not go here if you are in a hurry. Every year or so I get stupid and try this place again. (I love the mashed potatoes). Anyways, it takes FOREEEEVER to get waited on. I'm guessing it's been years of the same bad management, because other KFC's don't seem to have this problem. When I say forever I'm talking 20 min. with just 2 couples ahead of you in line, and another 10 min. to get the food after ordering. The KFC in Williamsport is so amazing I only waited 5 minutes the whole time I was there. They were slow at first because as soon as I was done ordering i got to the window and they were very nice. I had my food in hand and everything was correct with my order highly recommended. read more

waited 30 minutes for our food. we only got 2 of the 5 things we ordered. went back and they said they forgot to give it to us. they gave us a stack of napkins, 32 forks, 17 spoons, and 7 cookies for the troubles tho. so i guess its a lose win. read more

I have to say, the extra crispy fried chicken this KFC has in Williamsport is the best so far. I tried different KFC's extra crispy chicken, none could compare with this one in Williamsport. That's the reason why I always get the extra crispy. The skin is so crispy and the thickness is just perfect for crispy chicken skin lover, and when you bite into it, the crunchiness just filled up in your mouth, it just makes you want more skin. Then you bite into the meat, the meat is so tender and juicy, and just balances up the greasiness you just had from the crispy skin. Well, anyway, that's how good the extra crispy chicken is. But they do have crappy customer service. They are so slow, especially when you order a big bucket of extra crispy chicken. The average waiting time is at least 10 minutes and even more. They never have enough chicken on the shelf, especially when some kind of chicken is in high demand. Here is my story from last week, it just pissed me off: I waited almost 10 minutes. Then I heard the manager there said she was going to give my extra crispy chicken to the one customer who just ordered 14pics extra crispy dark meat feast through the drive through one minute ago and way behind me, and let me keep waiting. Hello??? Does walk-in pay you less? Then another worker came over told me I have to wait for few minutes for my chicken. That's enough! I told her that I have waited long enough, and where is my chicken. give me the chicken that are suppose to fill my bucket up! Why didn't tell me at the beginning when I was ordering, so I could decide to stay or leave. I was pissed. So I insisted I wanted extra crispy. Guess what! They told me I have to wait for another 16 minutes, and then I heard the guy called somebody to pull out some extra crispy chicken to make right away. What? Why you didn't start to cook them after I ordered them 10 minutes ago if you didn't have enough extra crispy wings!!! OK, I was told to pulled aside, and somebody would take them out for me. After another 20 minutes, I had to walk out my car and yelled at the people there, where was my chicken? It looked like I finally reminded them, 5 minutes later, I finally got my chicken. Totally 50 minutes waiting, I got two extra crispy wings meals!!! haha, what a joke for fast food restaurant and drive through. This KFC restaurant has very poor management, who ran this place should be shot. I had very bad experience not just this time. You knew it. Not just waiting, messed up orders too. I gave up. This will sound like exaggeration because it's so utterly ridiculous, but I swear it is not. We've lived in Williamsport for 21 years and attempt the KFC about 3-4 times a year because the anger from the last time has worn off and "this will be the time they finally get it right." Wrong. Do the math: 21 years times 3 or 4 is anywhere from 63 to 84 consecutive times they have completely screwed up our order. An utterly ridiculous management and staff. Either the business model is to hire the most ridiculously incompetent people they can find or the management is universally inept. Don't go here. Save yourself the anger and frustration. Worst run restaurant in the history of badly run restaurants. They NEVER have what you order and try to compensate by offering a free soda. Someone needs to explain to me why every time I go there (isn't often, but I do mean EVERY TIME) they are out of chicken and you need to wait nearly a half hour for them to make chicken. I went to KFC today and had very good experience. The order taker was friendly. I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, coleslaw and mashed potatoes. My food came out in less than 5 minutes and it all tasted very good. Usually it takes 10 minutes to get my order. Restaurant was a little busy, I noticed everyone was getting their food in a timely manner. I will be back. read more
