Customers that came in after us had ordered and ate but not us. Finally my son went up to the kitchen window to ask why we didn't get our food. The kitchen staff told my son "We ran out of food". One would figure that there would have been some type of announcement made instead of leaving us and some other customers hanging but, nobody said a peep. This was the worst experience we've ever had at any restaurant! How can this place even operate without a wait staff and run out of food soon after it opened for the day. It simply was not busy enough to run out of food. Seems to me that the underlying problem is the owner and management. One thing I do know is that I will never go to this restaurant again nor their other restaurant Bold American Fare. I'd personally put them right at the same level as Portillo's. It's got a very old-school diner feel to the place. Menus are displayed with pictures over the counter, making it super easy to read and order. As far as friendliness of the cashier goes, I'd rate them 3 of 5. I asked if the wings could be made saucy and crispy, and I was told that they made them in just one way. Since the wings are freshly made to order, I was informed that there would be about 15 - 20 minutes wait before order pick-up. That wasn't a problem for me. My order was ready as informed. I had my wings soon after pick-up while they were hot and fresh. The wings looked super delicious and tasted as such as well. They were saucy, crispy, and meaty. Their flavor was very good, and the spice level was too my liking. The Wings of Fire sauce was finger licking good. Yum! I couldn't get enough of it. The wings hit the spot. It was money well spent.
