I am disabled and sat in the drive-thru line for 45 minutes with approximately 10 vehicles in front of me. I ordered 2 chicken-strip meals, each with coleslaw, 1 with mac and cheese, and the other with mashed potatoes. I got a 3rd a chicken wings meal with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. I asked for 2 diet cokes and a regular coke. The 45 minutes I waited was my choice. I could have left and gone somewhere else, but my family felt like KFC, so I waited in the line. When I got home, I found out that I didn't get a regular coke or my mac and cheese. People are probably thinking at least I received the right meals. The point is that this KFC has never gotten my order right. The one time they got it right, we didn't get silverware. Bye the looks of the reviews, I don't think anyone from KFC even looks at these reviews. I wish they would because most are just careless mistakes. read more

We don't come here very often because take out can be a bit pricey, but for a treat we decided to get KFC. After a long wait we finally got out meals at the drive through. No biscuit in either meal. I ordered original recipe and got extra crispy. The chicken was so greasy that it seeped through the box and the bag onto the seat. I can't tell you how disappointed we were. It seems like most of the negative reviews, as usual for fast food, are from drive-through customers. I always walk in and am rarely disappointed. Gotta love technology. The more you put between the customer and the counter staff, the better the chance of a screw-up. Anyway, I have been to this branch of KFC and have always had polite and accurate service. Once they even filled a special request for a bucket of just thighs and breasts, when they no doubt could have said they needed to stick to the normal mix of pieces. The store is located on Civic Center Drive, Augusta, ME 04330 I arrived at the back of the drive thru line at 5:40PM and my recipet shows payment made at 6:05PM. My major complaint is your lack of customer service, at some point the level of poor service reaches to being unconcerned about your customers and is insulting. I waited in the drive thru line for almost 30 minutes! I asked for the manager to complain to and was approached by a female who said she was the manager and her name was Nichol. She wouldn't discount my order, nor would she give me her general manager's name & contact information. Then I asked for the Owner's information and she refused to give me that. Very poor place to eat. They never get orders correct, even if you verify at the window you pay at. The chicken is extremely greasy. KFC fries used to be crunchy, not there today mine were soaked in grease. Some employees are friendly but some will close the window on you before you can ask for utensils of the buttery spread, or napkins. They definitely need an new ice machine, theirs is always broke. Only giving one star because they won't let me give zero. This place is pathetic. After waiting in the drive thru for 10 minute we finally got our food. We had ordered a large potato with no gravy and the first thing we pull out of the bag is a big container of gravy. I tried to give it back as I didn't want a gallon of gravy in my car that I didn't ask for but the clerk told me they weren't allowed to take food back through the window. Next, I noticed that our two drinks had no ice. I asked why there was no ice and was told they didn't have any ice. Thanks for telling me. I wouldn't have ordered a soda if I knew there was no ice. At that point we drove off and my son wanted help putting butter on his biscuit but that wasn't possible as they gave us no utensils or butter. They also gave us no napkins. I went to the Irving across the street for a soda, with ice and to see if they had any utensils so we could eat the potatoes and Mac and cheese we had ordered. If I could give this no stars I would. This particular KFC was shockingly terrible. My sister-in-law and I stopped to get something to eat on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 7:50. Multiple employees walked by us, without even acknowledging us. One older woman in particular came to the counter but never asked if she could help us, or even said hello. I expected her to wait on us, but she walked away and never re-appeared. The entire time we were waiting for service, there was one employee in particular, out back that we could see, as well as hear, that had a particular fondness for the "f" word. I decided to try KFC for the first time since October. I was surely disappointed by how poorly everything tasted, except for the Mac and cheese. I requested a 12 piece and for all of them to be breast. That cost $2.50 for each, which ran me an extra $20+ for the meal. I also ordered 4 biscuits all for take home. When I got home, my friends were all disappointed by how bad the food was. The chicken was the greasiest food I and my friends have ever had. The biscuits were hard as a rock. This place always forgets something when I order & the staff there are very rude, including the manager. Not very good at making sure the customer is happy, they make it seem like an inconvenience when you order/want your order fixed(even though they are the ones who gave you the wrong items in the first place). I was absolutely disgusting when visiting the Waterville Maine location on 6/17/2022 at about 3:30pm with my young granddaughter. when ordering through the drive through I questioned if the person taking my order was under the influence sight unseen simply listening to her speech. upon driving up to the window to pay the staff was clearly under the influence of something. she could barely keep her eyes open, body movement all over non stop, slurred speech and making odd vocal noises. not to mention her struggle to make change. driving up to the pick up window I asked to speak to a manager. a female did come to the window I will assume she was the manage. I explained my concerns with the other employee's demeanor , behaviors and genuine disgust and lack of professionalism. my young granddaughter had to whiteness such ignorant behavior leaving myself to explain what your employee was behaving in that way. Only to be told by the "manager" that they noticed she was acting off when she came into work instead of sending her directly back out the door she is put not only working directly with consumers but expected to make change? hell she could barely make a complete sentence or stand still.
