Yuck, the nastiest KFC ive ever been to. The coleslaw was bad. Smelled like mold and some type of chemical. Mac and cheese was soupy, and out of the 8 biscuits, 3 were edible, the rest were rock hard. Even the chicken wasnt quite right. The texture was rubbery with the breast meat. The place was filthy too, windows need desperately to be cleaned, trash on the floor, and dirty tables. I travel and have eaten at a few KFCs...this was the worst. Unfortunately we were down the road before we started eating. So i couldnt go back and return some of the items and get money back. read more

Went there at 9:28pm, the lobby was closed and in the drive thru they only had 2 items available. This is a combo with Taco Bell which was "closed" all together. Door stated both were open until 10pm. read more

Horrible service. I ordered the Nashville Hot 5 pc tender combo, I received my order in a "styrofoam hefty" container. My tenders were sitting in grease or oil!?! That was supposedly the Nashville hot sauce. I took one bite of a soaked up oily tender.. So I took my order back to the counter. I got back in line because there was another customer ahead of me. As they(customer) stood there to look at the menu. The manager. Older, whited haired woman came up to me and I showed her my ordered and told her what was wrong and I wanted something else, she then told that it was made that way. and She said the food was fresh and that was the way it looked. She took my food and went to the back, by then the customer that were in front of me walked out. The fries were greasy, I was charged 60 cents for ranch, when I paid $15 for this combo.. I got regular tenders instead, and returned to my table. The restaurant was dirty, and I can only imagine the bathroom. The manager was loud and yelling out orders. Customers were clearly disturbed by this. I know my friend and I were. Other customers that ordered wings were still waiting, only to yell back and ask about their wing order, and were waiting 20 minutes for their order. Poor customer service and poor management. We did not finish our food, and left the building with what we had left of our dinner, so we could eat in peace.. This is bout the worst experience I've had at a KFC, I've been a manager and this is not how you run a business. read more

I was passing through Walsenburg and I ordered a box of 12 chicken strips. After I drove to my motel I realized that there were only 9 strips in the box. I tried to call the place but their phone had been disconnected. I should have known it was a shady place just from that. I went back the next day, with my receipt, and it was the same woman who had served me at the drive up the day before. She said she could not do anything without the original box with the chicken tenders. I told her that I I was short 3 strips and she asked the cook who had supposedly been working the night before and he said that he had put 9 strips in, which was a lie. I argued with her for ten minutes but to no avail. It is a bad feeling to get ripped off. I just want to warn anyone who might be stupid enough to stop at this place that not only is the place dirty, and the food greasy and disgusting, but they are liars and crooks also. I should have known that there was a reason that I was the only customer at the place when I placed my first order. I never leave negative reviews on Yelp, but for these crooks I will make an exception. I think dishonest people reap what they sow so one of these days they will steal from the wrong person and then they will get into trouble. I would leave zero stars if I could. read more

I have not idea how you mess up 10 bean burritos but they were able to do so. guess they forgot the onions, sauce and cheese on every one of them! Ordered 8pc original chicken with mashed potato and gravy and biscuits. What I got was over Fried chicken parts were burned, my gravy tasted like watered down cheap gravy, mashed potatoes the worst instant mashed pot, I've had hungerman meals with better mashed pot. Travelers beware! I took my family to enjoy some food on a quick trip. My first clue should have been the dirty ice dispenser, then I was horrified to sit down with my family, to be surrounded by filthy grimy walls. The food had been deep fried in old oil. I spent $47, & I wanted the establishment to make some money, so I only requested a refund on one of the plates. My 13 year old daughter attempted to use the restroom, but just couldn't do it. As we were leaving, some of the staff were taking a break, walking behind the store & my 11 yr old son said, "Hey look dad, the workers are flipping each other off!" I left deeply disturbed, by the filth in general. I went next door, to get ice cream, to get the nasty oil taste out of my mouth. Worst experience of any food establishment ever! read more

Horrible service, overpriced. Charging 7 and 8 dollars for what any other taco bell/KFC charges 5 dollars for. Disgusting and unclean. Food has made me sick both times I have gone and I will not go again. I live in the area and after taking to ex employees they will tell you they reuse old grease in their fryers, and it's never clean. I know that this place is just a fast food restaurant, but the person who took my order went above any beyond for me. This restaurant doubles as a Taco Bell. I informed "Junior" (as his co-workers call him) Patel, that I would like beans substituted for beef in my crunch wrap supreme. He asked if I was vegetarian, to which I replied "yes." Not only was he able to fulfill my ridiculous order but he made sure that the person who prepped my food changed gloves so my crunch wrap wouldn't come into contact with any chicken. He went above and beyond for me and that deserves some recognition. read more

I realize you can't expect too much in fast food, but I was really disappointed. We ordered two chicken sandwiches, fries, and a smokey mountain barbeque chicken meal. The chicken sandwiches weren't bad, but the fries were overdone, cold, and really greasy. The potatoes and gravy was lukewarm and bland. I had to return to the counter to ask for butter and honey for the biscuit, which was cold but good. The barbeque chicken was surprising. They were overdone and lukewarm and had no barbeque sauce on them. I did notice some red, watery liquid in the box under them however. I ate two of them and found no barbeque flavor. As I picked up the last tender, I found a red, gritty sludge under it along the edge of the box. I have no idea what would cause a barbeque sauce to separate like this, but to serve it to a customer in this condition is really unacceptable. The clerk at the motel told me there were other restaurants about two miles into town, but we were tired and just thought KFC would do. We definitely should have driven the extra distance. read more
