We stopped by this Carl's Jr on a road trip a few weeks ago and the waffle fries were the best potato fry product I've ever had in my life. They were obviously super fresh and a little bit well done, and that just amped up the crispiness and flavor. Burger was average but I'd swing back through this town in the future to see if I could get the same experience again!! (Leaving review only now because I just found the receipt... I'd forgotten the location.) read more

First time trying Carl's Jr., and it definitely gave me some nostalgia--the burgers honestly tasted like a high school lunch burger in the best way possible! The Guacamole Burger was really good, and the jalapeño poppers were a highlight. Good flavor overall, though a bit on the saltier side. The restaurant was super busy when I stopped in, but there was still plenty of parking, and the staff was friendly. The building itself could definitely use a little TLC, but overall it was a solid first visit with great memories attached. read more

Is their a Lawyer in the room to sue this corporation for false advertising???? what the "$&%*" has happened to carls Jr.???? I ordered a single guacamole burger and it lookes like that pathetic little Whammy Burger in the movie "Falling Down!" Hell hey didnt even put a slice of cheese on it. Instead they cheepened out and put some crappy cheese sauce on it instead. Every marketing photo is a lie. I grew up with Carl's Jr. and it was the best burger out there. Now it is crap. If I were a lawerer, I would be sueing this corporation and every other for advertizing what they dont serve. I will never return to Carl's ever again. read more

Carl's Jr - "Can anybody tell me what's wrong with this picture?" Falling Down - Fast Food Near Me - Walsenburg, Colorado

This place was an oasis within the vast restaurant desert of southern Colorado interstate driving. We went through drivethru to get a meal. Had the chicken tender combo with a sweet tea. DELICIOUS and so freshly made to order. The staff were very courteous and a welcome relief to the hours of mindless interstate driving. read more

This is one of two safe places to eat in this town. George's is the other, but the owner mistreats the employees.

I'm on a trip with some friends from college and I will say the best part about eating at Carl's Jr was our discussion on how absolutely disgusting and lifeless this food was. The food smelled like 23 year old barbecue sauce that was left out and farted on repeatedly by a Carl's Jr regular customer. The bathrooms were absolutely horrible, I would rather poop on the side of the road. The guy serving our food had like 1000 hickeys on his neck, and this food is not digesting well. SAVE YOURSELF DO NOT COME HERE! read more

I stopped in Walsenburg from Abilene going to Gunnison a couple weeks ago to get a burger during lunch. I wouldn't feed my dog that burger. It sucked fucking worthless. read more

Burger was cold, sprite tasted watered down and the service was incredibly mediocre. But hey, at least the fries sucked too. I'd rather eat at Arby's. Do not come here unless you have no other options. read more

Never had Carls Jr. before. Ranch was the same consistency as water and don't trust rubbery chicken. Definitely NOT AN OASIS!

We ordered the big Carl. The meat was gray and tasteless and had obviously been cooked ahead of time. The lettuce was limp and the burger looked as though whoever made it smashed it down with their hand and flattened it. About 20 minutes after finishing it I felt very sick. I had stomach cramps and still have some nausea 2 hours later. I definitely don't recommend the Carl's Jr. in Walsenburg Colorado. read more

Burgers were premade and the meat was COLD. I felt like I was going to get food poisoning and didn't even eat it. The lady at the window was very friendly read more

The restaurant was very clean and organized. A young man behind the counter recommended a number 11, I was looking for a good chicken sandwich and they bread their chicken sandwiches by hand. I ordered a chicken sandwich with bacon, Swiss cheese and vegetables. It was as good of a chicken sandwich that I have ever eaten in any restaurant. I was with a friend, he ordered a double cheeseburger, all of our food came out, hot and delicious. I wish I had a Carl's Jr. restaurant close to my home. It was a great experience! I will go back! read more

Best crew at a fast food. I was greeted by Jon. He managed to say hello to me when I entered and gave a big smile while working. It was nice to see how he was keeping up with having a tidy floor. Seeing that the team gets along, we're friendly and helpful was awesome. Thank you Hope, Jon, Kaye Lee, Sabrina and Taylor. If I must say, the bathrooms need to be remolded. read more

I did not know carls Jr made an impossible burger. I was pleasantly surprised by that. It was quick and the food was good.

Good for a fast food place. The food came out fast and was hot! Ordered the California combo and enjoyed it!

Food is good for fast food restaurant. Service was quick and helpful. The sandwiches were what we ordered and tasty. Interior and bathrooms were clean and functional. read more

Being a small town, there aren't many options when we choose to eat out. This Carls Jr has become our go-to when we don't feel like cooking. the staff has always been friendly and personable. Our orders have always been accurate and the food has always been cooked to perfection. The store has always been clean and presentable. I couldn't imagine a better option in a small town for a quick meal.... but honestly the staff is what really makes this place! read more

WOW! My first experience at Carls Jr. and it will be hard to beat. The cashier (I'm assuming Carl Jr.?) was very nice and professional, as were his coworkers. If I'm ever in Wallenberg I will most definitely be back. read more

Quick and easy in and out for breakfast this morning. The coffee needs a lot of help, but the breakfast burger and the grilled cheese were spot on. The tater rings were nice and crunchy and all the food was hot!! read more

The food was ok but not the best it could be better the food took forever to come out and it kinda had a low life feel

In the last month or so I've noticed a huge decline in the way the food is made. I went the other day for a cheeseburger and my beef patty was raw! It was absolutely disgusting! I went today and got a spicey chicken sandwhich with frys and sprite. My spicey chicken sandwhich was fine but had a huge chunk of Mayo on it and my sprite is flat.... it's sad. Not sure what the change is, but I don't think I'll support Carl's Jr. anymore read more

I love Carl's Jr. and wish we had them back in Illinois. This one was nice and of course the food was good. Service was prompt and the restaurant was clean. What more could you ask for when your on the road? read more

Carl's Jr - a woman standing at the counter - Fast Food Near Me - Walsenburg, Colorado

We stopped here while driving through on a road trip. I haven't been to Carl's Jr. in a long time (for a reason ) but decided to give it a try since there were not many options in the area. Coming from a big city and being pretty picky (no this, add this) I was shocked bc my order was perfect which almost never happens! The staff was pleasant, the bathrooms were clean. The staff were all wearing masks and had the tables set up for social distancing due to Covid-19 precautions. Great job to who ever is managing this restaurant! read more

Don't stop there. Seriously the dirtiest fast food place I've been to. Restrooms were pretty disgusting. Over all will never atop foot into that place again! Zero stars !! read more

This is probably the dirtiest store I have ever been into. Cooks not wearing gloves touching their hats and hair. Someone scooping ice cream into cups for later use with no gloves on, store is just dirty all around ! I think new management is needed! read more

Drove 20 minutes to grab a late dinner. They were closed, lights out, employees in the parking lot 10 minutes before closing time. Very unprofessional and when we drove to the employees ignored us and refused to look at us. read more

The food used to be good now everything is under done and gross. I keep ordinary plain sandwich and they don't listen putting the things I don't want on there and the ranch packet keep having this flimsy stuff in it. It's gross rather eat at loafN'jug then Carl's jr read more

My husband and I were going through this town from Pagosa Springs to Castle Rock and decided it was time to get a bite to eat. We were glad that Carl's Jr was in town as we never eat at one, cause we don't have one near Castle Rock. My husband ordered a jalapeño burger and I got the Big Carl. We didn't get meals as we knew their burgers are large. We both enjoyed our burgers very much and wish they were in our town! The staff were very friendly, we didn't have to wait long for burgers, and well definitely put this on our list of where we want to eat whenever down that way again. Which is like 3-4 times a year. read more

Very polite service and accommodating to our big family that had individual requests. Food was hot and delicious.

I'm From Texas and have seen a lot of commercials for this place so my friends and I decide to give it a try. Complete honesty the barbecue chicken sandwich tastes like the inside of a cats butthole. And the burgers are complete crap. But hey at lease the ketchup was good. Never again Carl's Jr. Never again. read more

Staff is friendly. Food is hot. Lobby and bathrooms are clean. The Western cheeseburger is my personal fave. Several options for sides. We love their shakes as well. read more

I've been going almost every morning for coffee for a couple of months now. Staff has always been great with me. The girls know my coffee order before I even make it. The manager of the place is just as great and friendly. The orders always come out quick and have never had a mistake. I greatly appreciate the awesome customer service I receive!! Thanks guys! read more

Horrible customer service! Arrived at 9:40 p.m. from a late trip (sports tournament) stopped to get dinner. Sign on the door said open until 11pm. We weren't greeted at all... had to ask if we could even order. After ordering, we were handed a "to go" order number. When I explained to Destinie we would like to eat there, she informed me that they were closing in 10 minutes, and we had to take it out of the restaurant because they locked the doors at 10pm. Several people were still ordering, and eating inside. We received our order (in a bag), my salad was wrong - when I brought it to her attention, I was told that's how they make it, to deal with it. So we proceeded to eat inside, because we had "10 more minutes" before 10pm... DESTINIE, the girl that worked there, announced again that everyone inside had to leave. We were almost finished, when she now walked over to the tables demanding that we leave. Another older gentleman was trying to finish his meal as well, and he kindly reminded her that we will all finish shortly. She threw a fit, telling her coworker that he threatened her, yelled at her (all of which was b.s.) and said she was going to call the police. Why?!?! All we wanted to do was eat. 5 minutes in peace, seriously! What's the harm in that? Now, upon exit, Destinie reeked of marijuana as she sat on the phone with someone, discussing the posted hours on the outside of the store... So, risk it as you will, but I will never eat there again. read more

Very friendly and extra touches of good customer service, virtually unheard-of in a fast food restaurant.

They'll spit in your food, Mess up orders all the time like can we not get just 3 simple chicken strips happened 3 times in one day

It really is true, if you've been to one Carl's you been to them all. I guess that's what's comforting about it - you know exactly what it will be before going in. While traveling, sometimes it's best to simply take the obvious path and be on your way. I'll save the memorable, new and exciting meals for my actual destination. This was mostly utilitarian and based on limited choices. Carl's Jr came through with a completely predictable fast food meal. No complaints, no rave reviews either. read more

Well there's not much else in Walsenberg where you can get a quick bit to eat on your way home to Denver or down south to New Mexico. This location was clean and the service was quick. The employees all smiled and they kept the dining area free of all trash. The burgers tasted fresh - or at least freshly made! Easy parking and drive through right on the corner of the main intersection as well. read more

When heading to Pueblo or Denver this is where we stop to get breakfast in Walsenburg. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The restaurant is very well kept and clean. My wife had the Biscuit with Sausage & Egg Meal. The biscuit was tender inside and had a great crust on the outside. The egg was not over cooked and the sausage was juicy. The hash brown potatoes (tater tot type) were crispy and fresh. I had the Gravy and Biscuit meal. The gravy was very tasteful and the sausage pieces in it were just right. The biscuit was also tender on the inside and had a great crust. We have tried most restaurants in Walsenburg for breakfast and other than Georges on the north end of town this is the best. Georges is usually so busy it has a standing waiting time. read more
