I been waiting over an hour and when I went up to look into all I got was attitude from the worker. And the manger on duty is just standing around. And the store is a mess. And the chicken was under cooked. Stay away from the KFC/ Taco Bell location on pat brooker rd. read more

Visited on 03/15 and Antonio was great! He was very clear and attentive in the drive thru and friendly. He let us know that we would have to wait for our food (pretty normal for this location) but got our order to us very quickly and made sure we had our sauces, forks, and drinks. Thank you Antonio. read more

Do you remember eating at a place when you were a kid and you looked forward to going there every single time?! You KNEW the food was going too be delicious AND filling! That's how I used to feel about KFC, until I got food from this particular establishment. I'm not sure what happened here, but today is my last time getting food from this place. (Only the third time in two years). After going through the drive-thru, I had to wait approximately 20 minutes to get my food.‍When I got it home and opened the containers...look at the photos. They are self explanatory. I know they can't serve the food and make it look like it's advertised, but gottdamn! Could you at least TRY?! The chicken wings tasted like they had more batter, than chicken. They also didn't seem to be cooked all the way through. The 'sauce', if you can call it that, was supposed to be honey something. Yeahhhhh...No. The 'hot chicken' was so doggone greasy, I could have used the dry ass biscuit to sop it up and there would still be enough to put into a truck transmission. I wonder if the attached Taco Bell food would have been any better? (Rhetorical question). Anyways, if you go there, buyer beware. read more

Are y'all cooking the chicken one piece at a time? We were in line for 30 minutes. When we finally got our food, it was the wrong order. Horrible service. read more

I ordered the 3 piece meal & I must say that KFC has gone down hill . What they call a chicken leg is hilarious. It barely had any meat on it . I had way more mash potatoes than I had chicken meat & that is just not acceptable. Won't be going back . read more

I'm not sure where I should start. Let me begin with the add on TV, "Get a free bucket of chicken, free on us, for joining our rewards program." When we arrived I asked does this word? I got the old deer in the headlights stare. Finally got a response of "I dah know.". I'm sorry to say he should have stayed in school. Now, let's go to the food, I loaded the app and made our order. i ordered a KFC Bowl as she tries stay away from fried foods and the FREE BUCKET. I went to pay, and it charged me for the bucket of chicken $23.00. What the hell! I figured they'll give a coupon for my next visit. I paid and the receipt gave a waiting time of 5 - 15 minutes, 30 minutes later, no food, people came in received their food and left. My asked what's taking so long? He was to be patient, we're can only do so much. After another 20 minutes. I am pissed! I asked for the Manager, and began to unload, when the lady that gave my son crap started to step in, I told her shut her "pie hole" and step back.. 10 minutes later we got our food and left. At home the bucket had over half was undercooked and greasy. The place needs cleaning trash overflowing, food on the floor, bathroom disgusting. The Manager tried to makes things better. The staff we encountered were worthless in customer service. Restaurant cleaning needs, to be everyone's job. Your cooks needs a refresher on cooking safety and safe temperatures of foods. If I were a food sanitation inspector this place flunked. I giving this place a zero, but yelp let me give a zero, so this gets 1. read more

We ordered the Tuesday special, 8 piece dark, chicken only. The food was good, but the service inconsiderate. The drive thru means you can give me what I want with little or no waiting. If you don't have what I ordered, tell me before you run my credit card, and tell me it will take 10 minutes!!! Rude, unprofessional and little or no regard for the customer. On top of that, you must only give us a partial receipt, because I could not find the location ID on my ticket, so you really don't want to improve your customer service, so I turned to yelp & I'll try better business bureau next! read more

Where is management at this location? I walked in seeing employees handing out food to their friends, letting their kid walk around w/ a broom, another dancing & being loud in the lobby, and several employees running back and forth to/from their cars. The soda lids were sticky & dirty. Tables were dirty. It is great to employ teens (to keep them outta trouble & learn some responsibility), but there's got to be some authority figure in the mgmt. role. Another great franchise tainted by unfit mgmt....... Craving some KFC/Taco Bell? Not this location! read more

I'm sorry to say but, this is now one of the worst KFC I have ever been too. The second time this month I did the $20.00 deal. Again they forgot to give me the large order on macaroni and cheese. (They didn't forget to charge for it) I know they get busy but, understand one thing. When you have a kid that is looking forward to eating Mac-n-cheese and again none. You tend to get a little pissed. Thanks for a night filled with disappointment from your store. read more

first of all, they ask us what we want and then inturupt us mid way ordering and say one moment and then make us resay the entire order 5 minutes later, forgot our sauces, then put no nacho cheese on a cheesy gordita crunch but instead put shredded... like... AND THE PHONE NUMBER DOESNT EVEN WORK!!! absolutely not. read more

every single time we've come here the sauce i ask for is absent from the combo..which comes with 2 sauces. not a big deal but it's definitely annoying. the food is good enough to keep coming back tho read more

It's one of the better locations in texas. The wait time is about 5-10 minutes. The customer service is not the greatest compared to chick fil a. I believe the one of I-35 exit 175 is way better. read more

It was 8:30pm and they had one side of the lobby closed. Every time we go they are out of something or get our order wrong. The lady that ordered before us ordered to eat in. They had her order correct but packed it to go. We ordered to eat in and they packed it to go then it sat on the counter because they didn't call my name. When I finally went to the counter the guy said sorry. Its just worth it at this point to drive 10 more minutes out the way. I don't know who the managers are but seriously they need to get them and the staff refreshed just like the lobby! read more

KFC - Restaurant - Fast Food Near Me - Universal City, Texas

Expecting our son and grandchildren tonight so picked up a 16 piece with four sides. Got home and wanted some coleslaw but guess what? NO COLESLAW! Paid $43 for a 16 piece mixed with four sides but only got three. What is wrong with service anymore? Will be a long time before going back. This has happened before with different sides from this same business. And we live too far away to make it worth going back. But why should I go back for something paid for that should be in the bag? Ugh read more

My favorite thing to get at kfc is coleslaw. Everutime it taste rancid. I will not be going to this location again. The soda taste like water, they never have what you ask for. The owner/management of this location really needs to get things under control. I have been here multple times, and i always end up unhappy/satisfied with the food. The sides always taste sour. read more

I placed an order from this restaurant about two weeks ago. My order was a 3 pcs crispy chicken dinner with corn. When I made it home, I had a 2 pcs original chicken dinner with cold corn. Not a 3 pcs, like I paid for. My second visit was a week later. I ordered a 3 pcs crispy chicken dinner with corn and sweet tea. When I made it home again, I received a 2 pcs crispy cold ass chicken with one pc original with cold corn again, and unsweet tea. I will not be going back to the KFC, it is terrible. The food is cold, and to many mistakes. read more

Review based on customer service. All I wanted was to try the hot chicken tenders, not fries, not soda. She wanted to charge me $6 just for 3 chicken tenders which apparently is more expensive than the meal. So I chose not to be penalized for that and drove off. read more

Problem with this location is the inaccuracies at the drive through. They WILL get something wrong on your order. I have tried this place numerous times, and the last time was on 07/30/20. I ordered original recipe, they gave me some of the most tasteless chicken I have ever eaten. Looked like it started out to be extra crispy (it most definitely wasn't, and even if it was, that was not what I ordered.) The other times I have been charged different prices for the same order. (I actually had to keep a receipt and prove to them the price was wrong.) I would order a 2 pc, Breast and a thigh, and I would get a breast and a wing. (That happened twice.) Something is wrong with management here, and the staff just doesn't seem to give a flip. Be careful if you decide to order from this spot, and definitely check your items before you leave. read more

I only go to this place a couples times a year when I really want some KFC. Not really a big fan of KFC and Taco Bell being in one place. Last time I went the chicken was very salty. I ordered the 3 piece fill up box. The box had everything in it. Only issue is that there was only 2 pieces of chicken. read more

Website says they are open until 11:00 p.m. went to the drive thru at 10:25 p.m. and was told they do not offer kfc menu after 10 only the taco bell one. I understand that clean up might be a little labor intensive so they close down that part earlier, but the website should not say they are open until 11 pm . We went on down the street to whataburger for chicken bites. read more

Service at this restaurant is lacking, to say the least. On a relatively slow day, I watched as they put out five incorrect orders out of five, only to get back to my office and learn that I was the sixth. The lobby always appears unkempt. It would seem the management of this facility does not care about quality or customer service. Recommend you try Chester's Burgers a few doors away. read more

They didn't have any white meat or extra crispy at 6:30 at night. This is a chicken place and it's dinner time.

Awfulllllllll. They got my entire order wrong. Like EVERYTHING! Food was awful as well...cheese tasted watered down. Avoid at all costs.

All I have To say it's that on Thursday the 6th of august I received a phone call to have an interview with the Manager Austin which I got hired right away. So right after he asked me to get the pants, socks and shoes that I needed to start working for them as long with the food handler certificate.. I sent him the copy of the food handler and my direct deposit form. We where supposed to meet on Wednesday the 12 of august at 3pm and he never never showed up to sign the paper work so I could start working with them. I called him 3 times and no answer. I left him a message and nothing. So I called him today at 3:07pm and he answered the call but he came with a bunch of excuses saying that he was short handed at the moment and that he couldn't take the call right away but then he told me that he has a high labor and he's being requested to bring down. He asked me to wait a week or so to see if he could hire anyone. I think that that's rude of him making me waste money that I don't have to buy uniforms for a job that he didn't wanted to give to anyone. My name it's Eiret in case he gets to see this he will know that I'm saying the truth read more

Slow drive thru. I unprofessional. Never coming here again. Rude workers who don't have common sense to ask cars who have large orders to drive up while others get their "go cups". That's all I had and had to wait almost 10 mins behind a car holding everyone up!!! Really????? Bring out the food and let the others go! So horrible. ...............and they didn't even have any wedges!!!!! All out and didn't have a sign after I waited for my large wedge. read more

I have gone to KFC with my sister within the past 2 weeks and have had a great experience both times. The first time we had gone a young student named Levi took our order and we had a very pleasant experience with him (laughter and friendliness). He also brought the food to us and it was great! Because of our first experience we decided to go again the following week and hoped we would run into Levi. He wasn't working that day but another young student named Calub, who had taken our order was also pleasant and enjoyable. The food was great as usual. With the past 2 experience we had encountered, we will definitely be back. Keep up the GREAT work guys. We applaud the 2 of you with GREAT customer service. read more

I had a great experience with the drive thru person the last time I went. She was quick, and very nice and professional. My problem was when I got home. I ordered the 12 piece chicken tenders and only received 11. The biscuits were missing entirely. If the other employees pay better attention to make sure they aren't missing things, this could easily be a 3 or 4 star drive thru experience. (Never been inside, so can't rate that part.) read more
