I love this KFC, not for the food or the service which are not bad by any means, but because of the colonel Sanders statue. It makes for a great photo. Out of all the fried chicken fast food chains, KFC has never been on the top of my list. To me, the fried chickens taste okay. Some of the specials seem like good deals, especially the $10 Tuesday deal (8 drums & thighs). Purchased hot wings! No sauce....not needed! These actually were some of the best hot wings I ever had from KFC. Why? I ordered them fresh. Usually KFC will precook their wings. For me, when they do this, the re-cooking dries the meat out. The plus, however, is that the wings are finished within 3 to 4 min of ordering. When I order them fresh, without pre-cooking, the wings cook for about 9 min. Which means, if your in a hurry, go with the precooked wings. But if your not, request to have the hotwings made to order. The server will advise you that it will take about 9 minutes. Smile, say ok, and get ready to enjoy some of Tulsa finest fried hotwings. Lacking people skills and poor customer service I ordered two buckets of 16pc family meal. One bucket Original and I requested the other bucket if they can make half Original and half Crispy. And the old lady cashier said, "yes". I waited 57 minutes for my order and while waiting another customer was trying to cancel her order and so the cashier and (I think) the manager started arguing with the customer. The customer gave her reason why she was trying to cancel the order but the cashier said she couldn't cancel anymore because she already punched it in. At the time her order wasn't completed yet. They were all upset and very uncomfortable to watch. Some customers came in but the cashier said it would take about 15-20 minutes before she can take their order because they were short on staff so the customers left. Another customer came asking if there's anyone who speaks Spanish and right away the cashier told her no one speaks Spanish in an unfriendly tone of voice so the customer left looking disappointed. After 57 minutes of waiting I finally got my order. At home When I started serving the food, I found out that both buckets were Original (instead of one bucket with half Crispy) and one of them had 13 pcs only. I also requested Mac and cheese and no coleslaw but there was no Mac and cheese and there was coleslaw included. I was very disappointed and upset too. The last time I went there last month, the cashier was a young man who was really nice and friendly. I go to the Memorial location in TUlsa because of convenience but I decided that I will avoid this location from now on. The food was good but the ambiance was stressful and not friendly. read more

Went here yesterday for a quick lunch. Service was pretty good. Bathrooms were not clean at all!! Chicken was fairly decent, it could have been more fresh. Pros: my kids love KFC. I never take them, it's usually somewhere they go with grandma. On this day, I was too tired to cook and so the kids got what they wanted. My youngest loves the hot wings (my whole family does too), potato wedges, and mashed potatoes. My oldest likes the original recipe, Mac and cheese, and biscuits. Overall, it's a good tasting meal with variety. I'm writing a review because this location is always really patient with my kids. There's no playground, but there is a statue of the founder. The employees never say anything when my kids climb all over the statue and cuddle with it. Private parking lot. Accepts credit card. Drive through. Cons: it's fast food. read more

Every time I visit this location they always mess up our order. I try my best to avoid this specific kfc. After spending $35 this is what the staff brought out to us. With the attitude and lack of customer service I am greatly disappointed in this location, especially since it is the closest one to me. I feel management needs to step in and clean up employees attitudes and train on customer service more. What is the world coming to when you go to a restaurant, and they charge you for water?!!! Well, this KFC would attempt to justify such a ridiculous thing. Upon placing our order, the cashier informed us that there would be a 25 cents charge for water. At first, we thought it was a joke....but once we realized he was serious, we became very angry. There is NO WAY any restaurant ANYWHERE should ever charge a customer for water!!! Is KFC hurting financially? we are never going back to this location again. the store just opened and all we had were $100 dollar bills on us. our bill was 21 dollars and he said they couldn't break it. (how the drawer can't break $79 when you open is ridiculous). he then had us go to quiktrip and break the 100 ourselves. when we got back, the manager, brittney, acted as if it was no big deal and tried to give us the same food that had been sitting out. she never said sorry or gave us a discount or anything free. the only reason why we were mad was because the manager acted the way she did. it was very unprofessional. a simple sorry and this review would have never happened. read more
