I haven't had KFC in over a decade or more and I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't disappoint and took me back to the 90s with the tastes of the chicken! I was really hungry so I got a 3-piece original with mashed potatoes, and biscuit (dry as I remember it...lol). I also ordered a 6-piece spicy chicken wings to round out the meal so I have a little for later. Because driving back to MD from Stafford is a long ride with traffics and all. I know some people be wanting "fast food" to be "fast" but I appreciate that they told just about everyone to pull up and wait. So that made me feel that they were cooking the food fresh and/or they were behind and needed to catch up with the crowd. Either way when I did get my order everything was popping hot! Now my rating is 3.75 stars because they didn't give me any plasticware or napkins! Now I live in PG where they don't do plastic period but this Stafford why ya'll holding back on that!?! Our recent experience at this KFC location was frustrating enough to warrant a review. While I don't expect much from fast food, I do expect decent customer service, a correct order, and food that matches the price point. Unfortunately, this visit failed on all fronts. We ordered through the app for a strips meal and an 8-piece bucket. When my wife got home, we realized several large sides were missing, and the chicken quality lack severely. While we didn't want to find an alternative dinner option we did at least want the items we ordered. When my wife called the store, the employee on the phone was dismissive and unhelpful, questioning my wife. While on hold, she overheard staff arguing about the mistake. When she returned to pick up the missing items the woman from the phone continued to complain about the situation, acting like our return was a burden. While mistakes happen, the unprofessional and rude response is inexcusable. The lack of accountability and poor attitude turned a minor error into a much bigger problem. Fast food or not, basic customer service and quality control should still be expected. Sadly, this location missed the mark. Hopefully, management holds is staff to a higher standard and more accountable. read more

Placed an order on the mobile app and showed up 20 minutes later to pick it up, the food was not ready, was told "we are waiting on nuggets ". 10 minutes later the manager came out and asked me what we were waiting on, and I told him nuggets. He asked his crew when the Nuggets gonna be ready only to find out no one had even dropped the nuggets He finally dropped them, and I told him that I wanted all of the rest of the food made fresh as well cause at that point, I didn't want 30 minutes worth of cold food 36 minutes after replacing the order I left. Arrived home with my food to find out. I only had four tenders instead of six, my potato wedges were ice cold, and next time I will go to Popeyes instead of this Kentucky Fried chicken. read more

Wish I could do zero stars. The chicken strips my wife brought home for 23 bucks were horrible. I called back to kfc and the manager wouldn't do anything unless I returned. I get that even if I don't like it. I brought back the hard, overcooked and dry chicken strips. The lady running the drive through gave me a look like I was a space alien. I asked her to give this bag to the manager. Manager refunded the money and didn't say a word. Perhaps the staff wasn't paying attention because all I heard was laughter and the like coming from the kitchen area. We had a terrible experience here in that they literally forgot our chicken. Maybe we should've checked the bag, but we ordered both tenders and bone-in chicken with sides and it seemed like we had everything we needed when we left. Renovation done. Not closed anymore and still the worse place in town. The management is either none existent or useless. Every time we have gone here it been a disappointment. Tonight we were not surprised to be met with problems. Ordered unsweet tea and go soda. Ordered two breast meal and got one breast and literally a garbage ball the size of two donut holes. It was beyond the most disgusting place I have ever been. The chicken had to be sitting in the warmer for hours, none of the tables were clean, the biscuit was stale and the soda machine is always leaking; leaving the floors sticky. And I really don't want to hear the excuse that it was too busy because we were one of two families in at this time. I got lunch at the drive-thru. Service was pretty quick. Unfortunately the extra crispy chicken was a bit doughy tasting which is I've never experienced before at a KFC. I would have given them no stars but minimum one star is required to write a review on yelp. They are extremely rude food service and the people working there need to be fired . The woman (cashier) at the counter said,"I don't know what I ordered" and accused me of "creating a problem". They took my receipt away from me and were nasty. I wanted to drop the food and walk away just on principle . I ultimately had to walk in to correct the order because I'm guessing they gave my order to others waiting in the drive thru. I was being polite and said "I think you guys got my order wrong, could you please correct it, you gave me way too much". They gave me things which I did not ask for from the drive thru . After ordering from the drive through they asked me to wait in the first parking space - which I didn't mind . I knew they would mess the order because there were 3 other cars waiting past the drive thru. The people there need to take classes in how to act toward people because they have no basic manners. The level of competence is staggering at this KFC - your best option would be to go somewhere else. I basically got treated like dirt to try correct my order. This is the last time I go there for dinner. I'll be sure to reach out to corporate and also tell others about this place. I would come here with coworkers to have lunch as I work in the area. Drive thru customer service is terrible on April 15, 2023 around 12:20 pm. No greeting, no smile, and very lazy and rude. We don't come here often and when we do, this is what we are faced with. My kids were craving kfc but next time, we will not come here. The food is expensive for the amount you get. Undercover Boss should come to this location and fire everyone including the manager. It starts with the upper management and reason why customer service is so poor. Rather go to Chick-fil-A as they have Awesome customer service! I used to work in fast food restaurants and this KFC is by far one of the worst with employees. My kids did enjoy their small portion meal that cost nearly $30 for two 5pc tenders big box meals. Totally unhelpful and rude attendants. Told the person taking the order that she should not argue with customer and that customer was "always right." But, she continued to argue and be rude and told me customer is not always right. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager could be heard in the background being just as rude and confrontational. I told them to give me the number for the regional manager and they told me they would only give it to me at the window. I left the KFC with a very bad taste in my mouth. Horrible customer service. They don't even tell you if your order is ready, they just leave you standing there. They didn't greet but they sat back there and talked about other past orders. First, the employee failed to inform me that the Smokey Mountain Barbecue Chicken Sandwich was unavailable, when ordering at the drive-thru. Instead, the employee proceeded to ring me up for a classic chicken sandwich. Had the employee informed me that it was unavailable, I wouldn't have ordered a chicken sandwich at all. I didn't find out until after I had already paid and checked the receipt. I informed the employee who brought out the food of this issue, and they took no action to remedy or correct the situation at all. My next issue came with the quality of the food. The grease used to cook the food was obviously overdue for a change, which GREATLY affected the quality and overall taste of the food, which included the chicken and the fries. Another issue came with the amount of mayonnaise that was put on the chicken sandwich. There was an exorbitant amount which completely ruined the sandwich. It added insult to injury considering I didn't want the sandwich in the first place. Finally, after consuming the food, I immediately became ill, which sadly came to no surprise. This location has consistently had errors or issues with my orders in the past, which is the reason that I stopped being a patron to this establishment altogether. Quality control is a major issue. I come back and give it another try, only to see that the restaurant STILL has some of the same issues as before. At this point, I'm done, and am completely writing this restaurant off as a loss. It's just not worth it. This location isn't hit or miss. It's just consistently bad. You can keep the free chicken sandwich. This lady is very unpleasant and disrespectful which was a bit surprising because she is a little older than most fast food workers I come across. She was yelling at one guy because he didn't speak great English. Each customer that came up to her register was "greated" with an attitude equivalent to a teenager who's parents won't let them use the car. Worst chicken in the world. What kind of fried chicken skin turns to jelly after a few hours? The last time I was here the service was terrible, the sandwich was still frozen in the center and the lettuce was wilted. The staff at the time couldn't be bothered with those details though, they were to busy playing on their phones and laughing but could take 10 minutes to half cook a chicken sandwich for me and leave it frozen in the center. I sent a complaint to their corporate office about it and got no response so I guess failure just runs up the chain at this fast food business. read more

Food is decent. Drive Thru workers are beyond rude and nasty. My boyfriend and I went to this establishment last night AND today (01/20/2023) for a DoorDash order since my boyfriend is a Dasher. When we arrived at the speaker, we were both greeted with an attitude as if we were an inconvenience. My boyfriend told them he had a DoorDash order and wanted to make a separate order for himself and the lady was beyond rude about it. When we arrived at the window, my boyfriend happily greeted her and she tells him that the DoorDash order was not ready and did so with another attitude. This is a constant occurrence with this establishment and the reviews speak for itself. This location will be shut down sooner or later if you do not fix the amount of laziness from your workers and poor customer from your workers. I expect management to contact me before I take this manner to corporate. This is beyond unacceptable and I will not be back. As a former manager in the food industry, you should be taking these reviews seriously and you should be hiring employees who aren't lazy scum bags. I ordered a famous bowl. I watched the KFC employee prepare the bowl. When he was putting the cheese in the bowl it was sticking to the utensil so he just wiped it off of the utensil with his bare hand. No gloves, nothing between his nasty hand and the cheese going on my bowl. I informed the front counter employee that I wanted a different bowl because I just watched this. He politely accepted my request and prepared another bowl for me. The manager on duty asked the employee what happened. When the front counter employee explained the situation, the manager simply went about her business at the drive through window. I have eaten my meal at the restaurant and now I am typing this message at the KFC table. The manager has never acknowledged the situation to me. What a shocker! read more

I went to drive thru last evening as I do most weeks and ordered 2 grilled chicken breasts. When I get to window the person told me it was 8.90 which I thought was high, so when he handed me the receipt I told him I did not order a 2 pc meal and 1 breast that I ordered 2 grilled breasts, the receipt said I ordered 3 pcs, so I told him it was incorrect he immediately said I was wrong and rather than argue because there were cars lining up behind me I took the chicken and left. However, that is my last time. This is not the first time I have had a problem. Half the time you can hardly understand the person on the speaker, they rarely get the order correct and don't even try and ask for something unusual like 2 grilled breast. I am writing the corporate office and copying that branch, not because of the money, but because of the argumentative person whose name I have.
