I was on a time crunch for lunch and when ordering at the drive thru, no one informed me it was going to take 10 mins for my food to even be ready. This took all my time and now I don't even have time to eat. My food will be cold by the time I get to it. If there's any product not available it should be disclosed at the speaker! Not only that but I got 10 salts, 10 peppers and no spork to eat my mashed potatoes.... This order was for one person, not a family. Person who took my order didn't even relay to the gal at the window what I wanted, so my order had to be taken all over again when I drove from the speaker to the window, overall poor service. read more

This certainly isn't the KFC I remember from the 1960s. The food is just OK, not great as it once was. The current prices make visiting prohibitive for most. But I guess pretty much anywhere has that problem. Honestly, the only redeeming quality is a girl/woman that works there. Apparently she's been there several decades and still wears an honest smile every time we visit. I don't know her name but if not for her, I doubt that I'd go back. read more

If I could give a 0 I would !!! Service is horrible, food is OK once in a while, most the time it's old and taste the the grease hasn't been changed! The last 3 or 4 times now the drive through worker was rushing & pushing just to get me out the drive through, when i mentioned slowing down & trying not to push customers away so quick would be nice, she wanted to get an attitude & say she's working by herself then slammed the window in my face, I parked & went inside to ask for her name and the manager; the other employee working would not give me the information... she was looking at me like I was talking to a rock, finally the manager came out ( looks like the drive through worker wasn't alone after all) and I spoke with her about the rude drive through employee. Didn't seem to bother her much. That's my take on this location. read more

You can go wrong with anything on the menu here. We destroyed our meals. This KFC is such a slay, def because of the workers. It was so busy but they kept their cool, love that. It hit so hard after a hike in the mountains. read more

We were hesitant for a while to try this KFC due to the reviews but were extremely surprised. Our visit was AWESOME. The food was hot and fresh, biscuits were absolutely hot and fresh. I ordered on the app last night at 855pm. The app said the location closed at 1030pm. I arrived at 925 to find door locked and it was almost completely cleaned for shut down. A young man said we are closed i explained i had purchased an 8 piece bucket with 3 large sides on app and on line stated 1030 closing. Also posted on door was hours stating 1030 closing. He answered we finish our shift at 11pm so we have to close early to get our cleaning done. I then noticed on counter a to go order sitting ask if that was mine. He looked and handed to me. When i got home everything was cold sides all small. Not large all for $27 plus tax My personal opinion is that once again many of our fast food places are being staffed by young people with apparently no older management. Results high prices poor service and taking no responsibility for the customers poor experience. I will not return to this location. By the way not once did i here an apology or sorry. read more

My mother stopped into the Show Low KFC on the way home from grocery shopping on Wednesday the 29th and ordered us both original KFC bowls. When she got home she gave me mine and it turned out to be a Mac & Cheese bowl. I love Mac & cheese so I went ahead and ate mine anyway but then I went to check mom's and it turned out she had Mac & cheese as well, which she didn't want that day. I had to drive 12 miles to the KFC as I live a ways from town but I did have business in town anyway so it wasn't a major problem, and when I got there and spoke to the manager, whose name was Berta, I believe, she asked me if I wanted to replace both bowls. I told her I had eaten mine anyway and she said don't worry about it since I had to drive a long way, so we ended getting a free KFC bowl from the trip which I had the next day- lol. Overall a good experience. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because it was a minor inconvenience but not a big deal. read more

I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant,, Then to have very prompt and friendly service, eager to please customer service made our day. We had a late lunch on Sept. 10, 2025 at KFC in Showlow. This particular KFC met all exceptions and I have not experienced this in other KFC's. Kudo's to all the staff at KFC in Showlow. The staff at that time were mature and cordial. read more

Always friendly, Always clean! We eat in @ the restaurant because we live out of town. Always a great experience!

To update my review from 5 days ago.... The day after I posted the last review I got a phone call from the stores General Manager to discuss my experience. I'm pretty sure it was because of the same review that I sent to KFC.com and not the Yelp review but either way it was addressed by management. I got an apology and a free 8 pc. meal, which I picked up today. Today my experience was good. Seemed like a whole different restaurant. The order was correct and the food was good. The General Manager does seem to care what's going on at his store and I think he would appreciate any feedback but I don't think he pays attention to Yelp reviews, so if you want his attention it's best to go through the corporate website that's on the receipt. read more

We went to KFC to take food home for dinner. KFC has a decent meal when you need something fast, hot and tasty. The KFC in Pinetop when we went last year was really good so we decided to stop here. We waited in the line and ordered. But when we got to the pay window the girl did not have a mask on at all. At least the staff member handling food had his mask on properly as well as a tall staff member working at the counter. The girl at the pay window and another male worker seemed to be messing around-neither of them wearing masks. The food was hot but I re-heated the food before eating it in a toaster oven just in case. The food was good but the experience made me not happy. I hope the management reads this and corrects the situation. I will not be going back until they decide to take customer safety more seriously. read more

I like KFC but the Show Low Arizona store is the worst. I Iive in Show Low during the summer and Green Valley AZ in winter. Both locations have KFC but there is a very distinct difference in the Chicken. In Green Valley the chicken has a light brown color and tastes fresh made. In Show Low the chicken is much darker in color and looks old and is very dry, not moist. Looks like it was left over and refried. I asked corporate to look into this but the response was "THANKS FOR THE POSITIVE FEEDBACK". I have visited the Show Low store numerous times hoping the food would improve but never happened. read more

So rude for no reason. One car behind us and our presence was the biggest inconvenience to the employees day.

I love KFC, but no one does it better than the Showlow location. They are fast and friendly. The atmosphere is great too, I feel relaxed and could enjoy my meal. I had to travel over 74 miles to get to this location but I don't mind because it is that good. Other KFCs that are closer don't treat you the same, they run out of chicken, have low quality chicken or don't offer exceptional customer service like ShowLow KFC! Love you and can't wait to come back! read more

I had a goof kfc experience. The chicken was perfectly crisp. The mashed potatoes and coleslaw tasted fresh. No complaints.

This is no longer the KFC of just 2 years ago. The food quality is slowly going down hill. The chicken peices look like they come from a pigeon. The taste is horrible. The manager told me that the chickens are being slaughtered before they are grown and frozen. No more fresh chickens. The price is outrageous. The customer service socks. I been buying KFC for over 50 years . No more. read more

Alert! This is a KFC buffet location! I don't usually review fast food places but given the dismal reviews here I feel it's necessary since I've been coming to this exact KFC off and on for 30 years! As the Show Low KFC OG it's totally fine in my book! I'm not sure what's up with all of the terrible reviews as I was here in October 2018 and it just like any other KFC...plus the buffet! To my fellow fried chicken lovers our there, you know these buffet locations are hard to come by. I live in DC now and we don't have many of these KFC buffet spots on the East Coast. I think the closest one is well over 100 miles away. So I was slightly ecstatic when I saw they had the buffet... Except I didn't get the buffet because I wasn't that hungry at the moment. But they were pretty packed with other customers partaking in said buffet, which up until this point, seemed like a mirage to me as I'd never seen one. It looked pretty decent but I ended up going with my usual sandwich meal and no complaints. The employees were on point as was the food. They served everyone quickly inside as well as in the drive through. All seemed fine to me, and again, I've been a customer off and on for over 30 years. read more

My kid didn't want to eat at The House (again). He requested KFC, which is a quick and simple 2 minute walk from The House. I told my hubby to order the kid a $5.00 meal deal box and bring it back to The House. The cashier input a 5 piece combo (for an 8 year old) at the cost of $7.99 plus tax, for a total of $8.64. Hubby doesn't like to correct people, so he just let it slide. Needless to say, most of it was wasted and tossed out because we had plans and didn't have a way to keep it cool until we got back to our hotel. read more

100% trash spent $37 on a meal for my family and my wife and front seat are covered in gravy because the employees can't secure a lid on a cup of piping hot gravy. Simple answer is I'll eat my $37 and won't be going back again read more

This KFC should hire a new manager and then train staff to make this location worthwhile to visit. Went in on a Sunday night at 6:30pm. Ordered a 12 piece bucket. We were told it will be 20 minutes. Before the remodel, we vowed that we will never step inside again because the food and service was so bad. The chicken had been so long ago that it was totally dried out. It remains the same poor service after the remodel. Wish the owners would make some changes. read more

Ordered the 8 piece meal.. everything was fresh and hot... very good...will definitely eat here again

Showed up to the drive through at 1030am, sign says open at 10am. Sat in drive thru for 5 mins and never acknowledged. Drove up to the windows, again never acknowledged. Finally called the restaurant and the teenager answered the phone and said they weren't open yet that they were running behind, very poor attitude and just kept saying "what" and "yea" with attitude. After waiting 5 more minutes during the middle of our order she walks out to a vehicle sitting in the parking lot and grabs keys from someone sitting in the parked car. Horrible service! Lizzy needs some serious training in the customer service department. read more

I don't usually rate fast food joints for obvious reasons but I feel I need to rate an item at the KFC. I see their ads for their crispy chicken sandwich. It looks great and I have always want to try one. I ordered two, one for me and one for my wife. I did get it to go if that makes a difference. Mine was dry, somewhat hard and not very good. I did manage to eat the thing but my wife only had a couple of bites before it ended up in the trash. To be fare, I didn't like the chicken sandwich at chick fil a either. read more

Lol can I give no star? We order 3 chicken little sandwiches and they completely mess up all 3. We go back to just get them made right and they take our sandwich's back to fix them and not make new ones. Literally take them all back to where they make everyone's food and opened them to fix them I just put my hands over all 3 because clearly I checked them. So nasty. During right now is probably the worst time to do that. So nasty KFC. read more

I had a awful experience here. I ordered online so I wouldn't have to wait in line. I got there and doors are locked. Only way to get food is to wait in line anyway. Asked the rep whats the benefit of online order. He said, "I don't know". After getting food it was cold. The "chicken" was all breading and hardly a bit of chicken. The entire order, chicken and sides were awful. Now I know why they are closing in the valley. read more

This place is actual garbage. Went there for the buffet, expecting some decent food and what I got was one single drumstick, some cold mashed potatoes and slimy butter packets. If you're looking to have diarrhea and stomach pains for 3 days, then give it a try, otherwise I would definitely NOT recommend going here unless you go through the drivethru. read more

Buffet is terrible! Do not be fooled by massive amount of cars in the parking lot! No macaroni and cheese! One piece of chicken left, no biscuits. Butter packets are slimy and dessert is terrible. It was just an awful experience. And for $8.49 you could step across the way to Pizza Factory and enjoy much better food! If I could give it zero stars, definitely would. I don't think I've ever been to a more ghetto establishment in my life! A booth is missing a WHOLE tabletop and chairs are incredibly worn. This place is awful. Here it is 7:00 pm on a Saturday night and they are closing the lobby already!!! Putting chairs on the tables around us while we eat. Spraying chemicals on the table next to us while we are eating. We got dinner here tonight. I find it odd that people who work in these places can't get an easy order correct. 8 pieces of chicken with 2 sides. Coleslaw and mashed potatoes. Got home had 2 mashed potatoes no coleslaw. Won't be eating here again. read more

Yami was our cashier and she had the biggest attitude. We asked for a minute to think what we wanted to order, and when we were ready to order, we said "okay we're ready" and it stayed quiet and then she said "then order" with an attitude. And then when we got to the window, she still had an attitude and we asked for ranch and she sighed all rudely. She also gave me a dirty look from the back seat. Recommend firing her or telling her to check herself. That's disrespectful to customers and I myself will not be going back there. read more

Disappointed to say the least! Family here from out of town and was excited to try the Nashville Hot Strip Baskets and as you can see in the photos, it is far from what if advertised. The strips were dry, some kind of spices splattered on them and grease lined the bottom of the container which was half soaked up by the hard biscuit that was included. My daughter ordered the breast dinner and opened up the box when we got hone to find a small thigh, dry biscuit and hard cookie. This is the second time in a row we've spent quite a bit of money there to be let down and frustrated! read more

I usually love KFC but this one is terrible. The chicken was OK, fries OK. I ordered a small Mac N Cheese, get to my car and realize it's not in there. I went back in and waited at the counter FOR 20 MINUTES before they even acknowledged that I was there. Once somebody finally comes (looked like it was the manager) over to me I tell him that they forgot my Mac N Cheese and I showed him the receipt, he gives me a dirty look, goes and gets it, gives it to me and doesn't say a word. Then I get to my car and find out the small Mac N cheese is only about 2 spoon fills and I just wasted 20 minutes and about $6 out of my life. read more
