So I'm short chicken and sides that should have been thrown away. I go on same mobile app I ordered to lodge a complaint. Mind you this was 7:30 pm. No longer than I hit send my phone rings. It's the restaurant. What happens next was absolutely crazy. The employee says. "I watched the video tape. In one was 8 pc and the other had 4; So you weren't short". I'm almost laughed. I wanted to say if you saw all that you would surely have noticed the rice was horrible but I didn't. She was very certain my complaint was wrong. This wasn't hard to figure out. I asked for 6 pc of fried/ 6 pc of roast. I got 4 pc of fried. Math folks. At this point. I was exhausted. When I mentioned the rice she was more than fine with me driving it back to the store at 8 pm from 35 miles away. I ain't going to lie. I hung up. I'm not arguing over this. I just sent in a complaint not an investigation. Here's the photo of the chicken and rice. Enjoy. Be prepared. If you say one word you will told otherwise and scolded. I will never stop there again. Me and the wifey shared a parillada that included pollo, fajitas, sausage for the meats and rice & beans for the sides. Even though the pollo lacked enough of that highly desired Achiote spice, it was good enough to come back and order again. However the fajitas and sausage were a bit bland for my taste. I found it was definitely better when dipped into the green salsa first. The beans also needed a boost of flavor, so adding pepper and red salsa did the trick for me. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and worth dining inside for lunch, if you have the chance. My guess, the future success for this restaurant will depend on a steady amount of families coming here for take out after a long work week. Either way, glad it's here and Buena suerte!

The chef was super friendly. I ordered the spicy chipotle chicken sandwich and why not get the fries but did not realize fountain drink was included, huge 32oz fountain drink. They asked my name for the order but I looked around and it was just me. I got my order within 10 minutes and I enjoyed the entire place to myself with great music. Food: the chicken was piping temperature hot but lacked seasoning and flavor. I don't mind lack of seasoning but there was no chipotle and no spicy flavor at all. It was just breaded and deep fried chicken but it was breaded well with nice fresh tomato, crunchy iceberg lettuce, a few pickles. I did ask for jalapenos but could not find them. The description mentions pepper jack cheese but my sandwich did not have any cheese or the slice was so thin that I did not see or taste it. The chicken breast was tender, juicy and temperature hot but the breast to bun ratio was off. Too much bun compared to chicken breast and some bites were all bread. The curly fries were super temperature hot and perfect for me since there was no added salt. Who doesn't love curly fries?! Restaurant: very clean Bathrooms: very clean and separate men and woman stalls If you are craving crispy spicy chicken and you live in the neighborhood it is the closest place. The space itself…read moreis actually pretty nice--it's a large, contemporary Panda Express with the usual Chinese-style decorations. They have four big tables in the middle and some smaller booths around the edges, so it's spacious enough to host a little gathering if you wanted to. Now, about the food: that's where things got a bit tricky. The Beijing Beef on the serving line was extremely dry, almost like it had been sitting out for too long and turned into just fried beef strips with barely any moisture. When I asked for a fresh batch, the staff were great about making it for me, but the new batch ended up completely drenched in sauce--so much so that it was overwhelming and left a kind of knot in my throat. And to top it off, the food wasn't hot at all. I drove maybe two minutes down the road before eating, and it was already cold. So in summary, while the space is nice and the staff is friendly, this location might need to work on keeping the food both fresh and at the right temperature.

Same quality as grocery store rotisserie chicken, which also comes in a plastic bag container, but for one third the price. The only thing the regular chicken meal for $16.99 comes with in addition to the single whole "pechugon" (slang for "busty"?) is 6 tortillas- equivalent to HEB tortillas, so grocery store quality good; 5 overcooked taquitos- they are slightly spicy, take note, and all the edges on all 5 were so crispy that is was closer to burnt; and salsa- fine, but Taco Cabana is a notable competitor that makes better salsa. Customers can add one large side for $4 by ordering #2, their advertised "Best Seller Family Meal". Conclusion? Not worth it at all. Customer Service was friendly, but a bit difficult because they did not speak English. To make matters worse, they had a sign on the door indicating they only do Drive Thru. An expensive experience we do not look forward to trying again.
