This place is terrible very unorganized very late with your food and wrong orders KFC in North Salinas is ram horrible

On 11/03/20 KFC messed up my order by giving original when I ordered extra crispy. After calling back and speaking to Ruby she agreed to fix the order by giving me (2) 2 piece wing combos. 11/04/20 I drove back to KFC to pick up the order just to return home to find 1 box had 1 wing instead of 2. I called back again and after telling Patsy the mgr about the mistake she started speaking Spanish and put the bagger Eieneida on the phone without notice and she was extremely rude I asked her 5 times for her name and she kept trying to over talk me by saying how may I help you. Well on the 5th time she finally told me her name and I told her I wanted to speak to the mgr again and she tries to prevent the mgr by telling her she had already told me about my order. I'm an idiot. Second consecutive time that they got my order wrong. I absolutely love KFC food but this is the only one closest to my house. They are always getting things wrong and with the lobby closed today, they were allowing pedestrians to walk and order through the drive-thru. Two 3-piece combos and I got one lousy piece of chicken. Tried calling but phone continually busy. Would go back but I promised myself never to go back, at least to this location. Advice... check your order, careful with the pedestrians order who look shady. read more

Its KFC, lol. I don't think anyone expects amazement from KFC, but the extra crispiness was tasty, mashed potatoes were bland as always, but the gravy helps. I used to love their coleslaw but its definitely not the same, my 7 year old loves it though, it may just be because I didn't have KFC in a long time. I'm a huge fan of Popeye's, so KFC just doesn't compare in my eyes but I didn't hate it. read more

What is it with this place. No one behind me and they want me to move up to the door. I am in the drive thru. I also love it when they want you to pull around to the front. This is against traffic I guess they don't care about how illegal that is. When you wait at the door for your food they come out hand it to and rush back inside. worst customer service EVER. Ordered through the drive thru and I got a 2 chicken waffle combo and I received no waffle or drink. I asked about it at the window and the white girl was dumb as a rock and I hope she coughs up all the kfc chicken and slips on the soda she forgot to give me. read more

My order was packed super quick, the quality of the food was great, i got everything i asked for, and the employees were amazing!

Horrible customer service ! I waited 30 minutes for my 16 piece family meal which was to include dark and white meat. I got home and I had one chicken leg, one breast, about six wings and the rest were thighs all soaked in grease. I called three times and no one answered. Had to drive back and when I got there another lady had a complaint about her order. I explained and waited another 30 minutes for chicken. The manager was apologetic. The floor staff were unprofessional. They were cussing and the cashier was talking on her cell phone. Most of the time I have had my order messed up but since this KFC is close to home it is more convenient. So I usually check my order before I go but this time I didn't specifically check the chicken. read more

Total farce. I've come to expect that they will get my order wrong. That is the default. But at least have chicken to sell! This is the second time in a row that no grilled chicken was available and I was told it would be a 10 minute wait for their greasy style. I suggested that they might use some of that time to clean up the store, which was filthy and depressing, and the head B in charge accused me of vandalizing their sign and threatened me with the cops. What happened KFC? We used to love you, now we get random pieces of greasy fried pigeon and surprise sides served by surly teens and eaten in a dining room with all the charm and atmosphere of a bus terminal. Love, love KFC chicken so i was so disappointed when I came in to this location and recieved a bad experience. 1st: no customer service . "Hi, welcome to KFC, what can I get for you this evening " -NOT. The whole time i was ordering, the woman was looking past me as if i didnt exist. I asked for a carrying tray for my 3 drinks, she didnt respond to me so i asked again, "Can I get a carrying tray for my drinks?" She walked away and said she would get it, but was rude about it. 2nd: After 5 min. of waiting for my order, my name is called and a young girl tells me that they ran out of crispy chicken and it would be a 15 minute wait for my order. Keep in mind they already had half of my order ready on the counter. So, now I'm working with the results of half my food getting cold while the other is cooking. And to further add, when I told the young girl that I was willing to wait for my crispy chicken she raised her brows at me like she was shocked that I was not willing to accept the Regular Chicken that was already prepared. If I wanted to eat something other than what I ordered, I would have order it, right? 3rd: I have listened to their phone line ring for a minute straight with each and every single employee disregard the call. The employees here are depressingly lazy and inept. Very rude and pushy as well. I asked the employee to give me all of 30 seconds to decide with my wife and kids on what they wanted and the young lady taking my order was getting restless. Just another example of Salinas mediocrity. read more

Completely disappointed, we were told by the cashier that policy no longer allowed to substitute coleslaw for another item. I had to throw the coleslaw in the trash, my family doesn't like it. I have rarely ever gone inside this KFC. Earlier this week I went in and received the worst service ever. As I got my food and took it back to my table I went back to the front desk and waited, 10 minutes standing there, to ask for sauces and no one acknowledged me. Everyone had their back facing me. I shouldn't be the one "interrupting" their work time, they should be attentive to their customers especially the cashier, Carolina, who had no line and never once looked at me. What happened to the menu? Now they only have "Fill Ups". It comes with a drink and a cookie that I do not want. No substitutions. And I have to order a side ant that costs nearly 50% more. We want to have what we want to have. read more

The absolute worst. Every order takes at least 15 mins to receive. The payment is fast but literally on the 10 min mark waiting in the drive thru line as I'm writing this. Its not like I ordered every menu item. I only ordered a ind. Size Mac and cheese, ind size mashed potatoes, and ind size of corn. I specifically asked for a fork and a side of honey after waiting all that time I still did not get what I specifically asked for. Sveral cars behind me honking as was I I even wanted to get off and ask for a refund due to the amount I had to wait behind one other car but even if I did I would have been trapped in the drive thru since there was a car behind and in front of me.
