The absolute best customer service from a fast food restaurant I've ever received! Greeted warmly with huge smiles just as soon as we walked in. Everyone was friendly and the restaurant was spotless. The manager working and the entire crew all deserve huge pats on the back. The chicken was hot and juicy! Mashed potatoes and gravy was tasty and I love KFC's coleslaw. They just opened this week, so they're still getting into the groove. There was a bit of a wait, but it wasn't too bad. The only downside was that the tables were dirty, and we had to wipe our own down before eating. The location is in a really busy area and feels a bit too small for the current crowd, but I'm guessing that'll settle once everyone gets their KFC fix. Now for the food: the Original Recipe chicken tastes very different than I remember, which was disappointing. It's now super bland (like they don't use much seasoning any longer), and the batter wasn't crispy at all. On the bright side, the mashed potatoes and coleslaw taste just like they used to, and the biscuit was soft and yummy. If I ever return, it'll be just for those, but whoever changed the seasoning ratio at corporate, messed up and ruined the childhood nostalgia. I didn't get a photo because I was trying to just get out of there and not take up table space too long. People were packed in the building and waiting for like 30 minutes in the small crowded space. Terrible. Very long wait for some of the worst chicken I have eaten. The crust was sliding off of the meat, the meat had no flavor. I guess they forgot to use the famous herbs and spices that KFC is known for. My wife and I stopped there because we do like KFC and had not been to this one since they opened a few months ago. Should have driven down the road a little further to Popeyes. Anyway, ended up throwing most of the chicken in the trash. We arrived at 10:40 PM -- well before the posted 11 PM closing time -- and sat in the drive-thru for 5-10 minutes with zero acknowledgment. When we pulled up to the window, the employees literally avoided eye contact and pretended we weren't even there. When we finally flagged someone down, they casually told us they had already closed at 10:30 PM, despite every online listing saying 11 PM. No apology, no explanation -- nothing. When we asked for a manager, the crew laughed at us, brushed us off, and acted irritated that we even asked. It took almost 10 minutes for the manager to show up, and when he finally came to the window, he was just as dismissive and unprofessional as the rest of the staff. This was genuinely the worst customer service experience I have ever had anywhere. I'm extremely upset and honestly don't see myself ever going to a KFC again after this. Whoever is running this location clearly has a blatant disregard for customers, because the already astonishing number of negative reviews says everything you need to know. At this point, your best bet is to start fresh with an entirely new crew, because the current one is completely failing your brand. Save yourself the frustration. Go anywhere else. read more

Placed an order through the app. Was told on the app that the order would be ready for pick up at 8:15 PM. When I arrive, the front door was locked and all the employees were sitting in the front for a meeting. When I attempted to go through the drive-through, no one would show up. I never received my food. I contacted KFC three separate times through the app trying to get my order refunded. Every time it told me they would be contacted by the leadership team. That never happened. I had to contact my Credit Card to get the charges reversed to get my refund refunded. Obviously, I can't recommend. read more

If you don't have an HOUR to kill, DON'T GO! I've given this location 2 chances and both times were equally pathetic. You will literally sit in your car, for 20 minute stretches, and maybe move up 1 spot in the drive-thru. No matter the excuse, that's unacceptable for a fast food establishment, with 1 or 2 cars in the line. read more

my family went into the restaurant.. was not busy inside at all but waiting 25 minute, when we asked them why the wait they said drive through gets priority.. by 8:20 they just locked up the lobby even though people were trying to still come inside.. while we waited I saw a roach run through the lobby.. Trash can was overflowing floor was nasty.. Food was horrible when we got it, everyone in my family had food poisoning the next day. KFC in Saginaw Tx 76179 Went to drive up window and employee locked the window and wouldn't speak to us. We were there 10:03, closing time on Sunday is 11pm. Employee seen us pull up to window after he stopped talking with another car in drive thru, but took off to back of store. We waited but no one helped us, not even to tell us they closed early. First of all when we ordered at the speaker the kid said they didn't sell vegetables, then he said oh yes we have corn. The place was not that busy but was in line for over 30 minutes. Food was really.young black kid at window acted like he was on drugs. After the order was completely wrong this place needs to be closed down or get a new manager.
