I called this store and placed an order for a 10-piece boneless wings, but when I picked it up and brought it home, it turned out to be bone-in. I called the store right away to let them know they messed up my order, and the person on the phone started raising their voice, saying, "So YOU called in and YOU picked up and now YOU are telling me it was not the right order?" I'm honestly confused. Am I supposed to open the box right at the counter just to make sure the staff did their job correctly? The receipt on the package only shows my name and order number. I LOVE Wingstop. I was so happy for months during the construction that we were getting a location here in town. Well, tonight was our second visit & second disappointment. Our first time they forgot to put everything in our bag- and that's almost my fault for not checking the order before I left the store. This time the wings were ridiculously SMALL! I ordered all drums & they averaged the size of my thumb - and I have pretty small hands. I've eaten at Wingstop at least 100 times over the 18 years I've lived in the DFW area. I have never been served such small wings. It's not like their food is "cheap"- so I think it's fair to expect to get a decent amount of chicken for what one is charged. So that leaves me with having to go to the store to place my order. The problem with that is that sometimes you show up at 9:15 on a Friday night 08/27/2022, and they are closing for the night. Or in past experiences when I've showed up and they are closed well before 10pm, and they're supposed to be open until midnight. Been here a few times and hadn't had any issues, but recently I've had a few bad experiences in a row to the point where I'm just done with this location. As a former Wingstop employee I can understand the difficulties in customer service, but I would never insult the customer by insisting they ordered from a different location and say there is nothing that can be done. Needless to say I rediled the same number only to see the front desk cashier pick up the phone. I showed the time stamp on my phone and turned out they never printed my order ticket and never made it. They did however attempt to correct the mistake by giving me a credit for next time, but that didn't take and was charged anyway and told it would be available the following visit.
