I come here 3-4 times a year for a root beer float. Each time I come inside I remember why I don't come back here more often or why the drive thru is better. The place is not kept up well. If I could give this zero I would, this is the second time I've gone through their ordered online and it is taking over an hour to get my food once I showed up 15 minutes later. When I arrived they had a line of 20 people that were waiting for door Dash orders online orders and then ordering drive-through and couldn't give them their food when they get to the window so they had to come around and park and wait. The manager would send out her minimum wage employees that are teenagers to do her dirty work because she was too scared to come outside and face all these people to get their orders correct. If this place isn't shut down or changed within months I wouldn't be surprised if the health inspector close it down. While I was standing outside I got eaten by a whole bunch of fleas. Bad service. Took them 20 minutes to hand out my $15 order. People whom ordered after me received their food before mine. No one was doing a damn thing but just talking and laughing in the back. They were out of just about everything too. Whomever does inventory and makes orders for shipment obviously isn't doing an ideal job. My sandwiches had no pickles (& I would've never ordered it knowing they were already out). & they were out with just about every sauce and soda. So while expecting a decent meal, I received a burnt chicken sandwich with nothing but bread, soggy chicken though it was supposed to be extra crispy, and no cookies since they forgot to include them in my meal. Finally a young man appeared, the same one who had just taken out the trash (hope he washed his hands). Ordered tenders and 3 pc. Only 2 people servicing drive-through and counter. No honey for our biscuits, Darn! Looking for a clean table wasn't easy. They all looked sticky with remnants of food. Too bad they are so understaffed and poorly managed. Came here one night and left after waiting 18 minutes and still hadn't received our food. No one greeted us when we walked in, and we stood at the register for several minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We paid almost $30 on meals for two and contacted KFC and they did not offer a refund after telling them about our experience. There were flies everywhere!! My husband bought chicken tenders for me and 2 pieces of white meat for his dinner. I have never experienced such awful chicken. Today I tossed all the leftovers which were suppose to be lunches. They were flat like someone had pounded them. They were more like chicken jerky (not good chicken jerky...). They were dry and the coating was dark. I wonder if they were left overs from the day before. I will be looking for another KFC, even though this is the closest to our house. Even our cat's didn't think much of them... We have purchased they same two items above several times and they've been fine. Not sure what the problem was (or is?). I hope this is not the "new" and "improved" chicken tenders, 'cause they need lots more work. I do need to add a statement. My husband's two pieces of white meat chicken were excellent. This is the worst KFC. Every time I go to this location they are horribly slow, extremely dirty, and just can't get my order right. It's been like this for years !! Who owns this location? Ordered online early before 5pm for 5pm pickup. Waited in parking lot, saw no one in drive through so went through drive through to pick up because we're high risk family. They refused to give us our food. Asked for the manager, he was the manager. He said it's against rules to let us pick up our order through drive through. But no one was in the drive through!! We asked for our money back he refused and said we have to go inside for a refund. Put in a complaint/filed incident with corporate. My high risk husband had to go inside regardless so we got our food but they didn't give us our drink for one of the meals (only got 1 meal and sides). Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I worked in fast food and in the mall as a teenager and through college. I treated customers with respect. I never treated customers like the way this manager at this location did. Don't they value customers? Do they think we'll come back? Hell no. I have doubts corporate will follow up, based on others experiences I read on Yelp. Well. This KFC deserves NO STARS. I was craving for some fried chicken. We drove to Poppeys and It is closed today. So we went to KFC and get the $20 fill up. We ordered crispy chicken. The chicken is kinda of soggy, not crispy at all. Seems like all has been sitting there all day. Also we only got 7 pieces instead of 8. It is so tasteless and yucky we ended up trashed all. I don't know why I continue to go to KFC. For a Restaurant that specializes in one food type they sure seem to be unable to determine how much chicken they need to make. The last 4 times I stopped to pick up a meal deal with the grilled chicken they were out. This was at both the Foothills Blvd and the Watt Avenue locations. You would think that they might recognize that the grilled is the most popular chicken and adjust accordingly. It does not matter as to the time of day they never have the grilled when I ask for it. What's more the employees don't seem to care. Usually a reflection of the management. We are done with KFC. I suggest that if you want really good chicken you go to El Pollo Feliz on Watt Avenue. They mesquite smoke all the meat (chicken/Ribs/carnitas/Carne Asada and Pork in their big barrel smokers out front. They use the meat in their Mexican entrees (quesadillas, tacos, burritos and salads. They also have chicken dinners and rib dinners with sides to go. The mesquite smoke plavor in their chicken and other meats are exceptional. The people that operate the restaurant are super nice and are never out of anything. read more

Just ridiculous! The only reason I am giving 1 star is because Yelp makes you select something, otherwise this would be a 0 for sure. I was only the 3rd car in the drive thru line. For some reason, they were taking 5-10 minute breaks between each order. Each car would wait at the speaker for 5+ minutes and no one would even address them. I would have left, but there was another car blocking me in. Eventually the last car gave up and backed out of the drive thru, and the rest of us followed. I would say it was the worst service i've ever received, but after waiting 15+ minutes I wasn't even able to get to a point where someone was able to provide me service. Went here wanting to feed the family some chicken. Started with the big tenders meal, which feeds 4. Then wanted something grilled for myself, when asked about grilled options was told to pick any of the meals and they can be made with grilled chicken. Picked the first one which was K7 a chicken beast meal. Only to be told they are out of grilled chicken breast. So then I ordered something else. After paying $34 literally got home the chicken meal was missing the 4 biscuits that came with. The food was thrown into one bag, wedge fries all upside down and spilled in bag!! Seriously crap quality food and service!!! This place is a joke!! DO NOT GO TO THIS KFC LOCATION! The only thing they specialize in is poor service, bad attitudes, and messed up orders. My husband and I went in about a month ago, and our to go order was completely messed up. I called and spoke to the asst. mgr, and she was very nice and helpful, and said she would note their board to replace our entire order. She had me read off the order, and I gave her my name. We came in a week later, and explained the situation to the young man at the counter. He acted like I was speaking a different language, and he couldn't understand what I was saying. I had to explain it to him and few times, and then, again to his manager. The manager seemed angry and put out. Neither one apologized. After about 15 min, the young man nearly threw the order to me. I checked it, and it was missing some items. I let him know that and he angrily replied that the asst. mgr had only noted certain items. I explained, again, that she was replacing my entire order, and showed him my receipt. He threw some items into the bag, and again, it was missing the popcorn chicken. I let him know again, and he said it would another 5 min. I said, just let me have a breast and that way I can leave. He refused, and I then spoke, again to the manager, who also refused, saying the breast was too expensive. I said, just give me whatever. He then confronted me, saying, don't get mad. I told him, I just don't appreciate their attitude, that they were unapologetic about the whole messed up situation. When I checked the piece, he must have searched for the tiniest possible leg, it was completely pathetic. I called corporate 3 times, including speaking to a supervisor, and emailed them to speak to a manager. In 3 weeks, the franchise owner, and the corporate manager have not responded to my calls and emails. My wife and I went through the drive thru at about 7:00pm on a Sunday night to get food for the us and the kids. The order taker "David" was unfriendly and seemed bothered by our presence and kept saying "is that it?" We placed our order of a 10 piece extra crispy with dark meat and a Papa Burger Combo which we specified that the burger be plain, just meat, cheese, and bun. We when we finally get to the window to pay "David" continues his poor attitude, and when he tries to hand the large plastic bag to my wife, he almost lets it drop because he just didn't care. He couldn't have been in that much of a hurry, the place was not busy. Nearly empty dining room and only one car ahead of us. So, after a long wait and dealing with a employee who has no business interacting with customers and certainly needs to be monitored and retrained by management, we finally get home. We check the chicken and there are only two thighs. The ten piece is supposed to be half drums and half thighs. The burger that was supposed to be plain had everything on it, lettuce, tomato, sauce, etc. Our receipt shows that he entered "plain" for the burger and it was to be a regular ten piece. The cook in the back was just doing his/her own thing. This is not our first time at this particular location. We had been here before many months back and had such rude service by their order taker we chose not to order and proceeded through the drive thru. As we drove through, a male and female employee had their heads out the drive thru and was yelling and screaming what were possibly obscenities at us, with our kids in the car. This location has has some very serious hiring, training issues. Where is the management? Where is the supervision? Before writing this review I contacted KFC through their website and explained what happened with our visit to their franchise. I received a phone call at approximately 9:00pm the same evening by a manager named Ashley. She was very nice and very apologetic. She stated that she had spoken with "David" and the cook who prepared the order. She had kindly offered to replace our order by just walking in at any time and tell the order taker "Ashley said its okay". It is unlikely that we be returning to this location. I hope the owner of this franchise reads this and takes this seriously. Your restaurant is being operated by people who don't care about the customer service, or quality and accuracy of food orders. Poor hiring practices, lack of training & supervision, and leadership are going to really affect your business. read more

Unfortunately, there is no zero or minus stars. We went there because it's close to my daughter's who just had a baby. Thought we'd pick up dinner and spend the evening with her and the kids. We walked in the place at 6 pm. It was empty. It was not clean at first impression. Not filthy, but it had the appearance of having years more grime that it's actual age. There was a sign on the counter informing "A&W customers" that the root beer machine was down. We also found out the ice cream machine was down as well. Being a KFC/A&W I thought what do most people go to A&W for? Root beer floats, being in the restaurant business I would have moved Heaven and Earth to have my "signature" items available. We ordered a 12 piece bucket and some extra sides. Paid and stepped to the side to wait for our order. One of the crew members walks up and informs us that it will be 20-25 minutes for any extra crispy breasts & wings. I said regular was fine. She comes back a couple of minutes later and says it will be 20-25 minutes for regular (why wouldn't you check to make sure you had it before you offer you customer?) but they have grilled. I've had KFC grilled and it sucks. So I asked for a refund. She has to go to the back to get the "crew leader" out of the office to approve the refund. The two people at the counter acted like we were inconveniencing them by asking for a refund. Both of their attitudes need to be put in check. At 6 pm they should have been fully stocked with product. Being out of both regular and extra crispy for dinner is inexcusable. Their attitude is unacceptable and I will never patronize this restaurant again. read more
