I read the reviews on here and I was oh no! Should I even try KFC in Roseville. I obviously did and it was way different than I read on the reviews. Mason helped me when I was in the drive through. He was extremely nice and needs a raise. He also should be training the rest of the staff from these reviews on here because customer service was amazing. It felt like a KFC and it was a little strange in my head that it is attached to A&W but that's okay. KFC has never been that great of food and I got the same quality I got back in the 90's. This isn't a place that you go to for perfect food. This is comfort food and has never been top notched. Is that bad? Maybe but why would someone expect perfect food from here. They brought back the chicken littles. They do taste and look different then they used to be but I'm sure there is a reason. read more

Ok 1. They don't use the app to redeemed through the app2. No manager on site.3. When you order saucy nuggets, I asked it for the honey garlic and they did not have them. They didn't claim they gave me honey barbecue they gave me Korean barbecue which is way too freaking spicy and to their knowledge in that store they can't tell that we the customers can tell what sauces through the app are spicy. I took my order back and they refused to give me a full refund and no item for free they gave me the 10 nuggets saucy with the four packs of honey barbecue sauce on the side as a didn't offer any Free item refund me the difference because again the manager was not present on site. We moved here a few years ago and were very disappointed with the KFCs here in Roseville. We finally decided to come to this location for our Thanksgiving dinner and are so happy we did. Let me start by saying that we're very picky when it comes to service at any establishment. The folks at this KFC far exceeded our expectations. From being greeted when we walked in, to the pleasant and professional service we received from the counter staff, to the friendliness of the manager, this KFC location has customer service down to a "T"! To top things off, the food was perfect, the chicken golden and crispy, and the sides freshly prepared. Oh yeah, let's not forget how clean the restaurant was. Needless to say, we were impressed! Our faith in KFC has been restored and we now look forward to our next dining experience at this well-run establishment. read more

This review is for the absolutely abysmal service as I never received my food. I placed an online order through KFC's website using their own promotion. When I got to the store for pickup, they refused to honor their promotion and simply cancelled my order. The managed LIED to my face saying that there should have been an email, despite me showing them clearly that there was a confirmation of my order and not a cancellation. Even with that, there was no attempt to make things right. No reassurance of a refund. Outright theft. Now I'm out the time, gas money, and was charged for food that I never received. This kfc rocks! I had swore off kfc for several years after having bad experiences at various locations including this one. I then went to this kfc about 15 times in 2024 and a few times this year so far and every time I was impressed. I get the original fried chicken, chicken nuggets, or chicken sandwich. I'm not sure if it's corporate kfc turning things around or just this location but the food has surprisingly been consistently great. I was craving KFC for a while and finally got it tonight and only maybe 2 pieces of my popcorn chicken actually had chicken inside I was very disappointed to basically get a bunch of fried crumbs. First off let's just say don't be fooled by the Yelp! Stars. Most Yelpers! Comments, reviews, complaints, praise are based at the time they were there. So that is there first impression. Remember as a consumer it's your decision to make the choice. Now onto my review. This is my first initial visit to the KFC-AW Combo restaurant in Roseville where I now reside. Drive thru was pretty much crowded so I decided to order at the counter. The dining area is clean & well kept when I visited here on a Wednesday evening. Customer service is above average but sincere and professional. I ordered the 16pc meal with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, 2 Mac and Cheese, Potato Wedges and Biscuits. All of this was to go. The crew was busy especially with the amount of cars in Drive thru but they hustled their butts off. In under 10 minutes I got my order. Was briefed of what was what by the Supervisor/Manager and out the door I went for 4 miles. Got home and unloaded the dinner for my family when my asks me where is the biscuits. I said it's in the other box similar to the Potato Wedges. She said it's two chicken breasts. Wouldn't you know it my 16pc ended up being a 18pc. We got the butter but no biscuits to spread it on. Not sure how this establishment messes up the order. Walk in customers were next to nil so they should have gotten this right! -1 for taking drive thru customers first than balancing the walk in customers -1 for falsely stating my biscuits were in this box when order was presented to me. -1 for my wife discovering there isn't any biscuits and disappointed my kids. -1 for making me drive home not knowijg there isn't any biscuits +1 for the chicken and other stuff was actually good. Honestly, I don't get the bad reviews, although they seem to be mostly about service and not the food. We ordered from this KFC through DoorDash this past week, and it was absolutely delicious. Chicken was piping hot and crispy. Sides tasted just like I remembered them as a kid, and my BF's chicken sandwich was the best chicken sandwich from any fast food restaurant we've tried in can't remember how long. Much better than chik-fil-a's in our opinion. Yep, I said what I said! :). We also got the 6 piece chicken taste of KFC deal and the amount of food we received was very reasonable for the price... at least with the prices of fast food these days. We actually had left overs. Despite the sign clearly stating they are open, they are not. When asked why their sign shows open when they are not employees blamed the manager from the night before. They also state "it happens all of the time" while I sat there two other cars went through the drive through believing they were open. I don't believe a sign that is completely lit up is something left from the night before. Do you want me to believe the power was left on all night? And, even if it was, it isn't that difficult to simply turn the sign off. The most disappointing thing, this is a regular issue for this location. So that leaves me to believe either employees are lazy or incompetent, but don't be confused if you come here. Just because their sign says open does not mean you will be served. read more

I haven't been to a KFC in years. I have never liked their chicken even we I was younger. I love mashed potatoes and gravy. I really love KFC biscuits! They are always the best. Light fluffy very yummy. I have gone to KFC in years past just for the biscuits, butter and honey. But they really didn't even need the butter or honey. They are awesome! I tell all my friends about their biscuits. Driving by a KFC I always yell out biscuits! I have never tried this KFC I noticed it's on my way home. I have been having pain when I eat the past few months. Thinking I should try KFC mashed potatoes and soft biscuits. Apparently they had to give me the oldest dried out biscuits they had. Only one was good. I ordered 6 I remember that being a deal, a few years back. Apparently I ordered 4. Oh well at least I know how it is and not go back. I was able to cut one of the hard dried out biscuits in half but still to hard to eat. The other two are so dried out its like a rock. If I lived closer to this location I would bring them back! Went to the drive through, immediately was greeted with, "what can I get you?" Not surprised at all by this type of unwelcoming tone and statement. I proceed to try to order only to be told, "I'M OUT OF ALL ON THE BONE CHICKEN, I only have strips." Ok if I go to Taco Bell, and they told me they're all out of tacos, I fully expect me to be on another planet. How in the universe does a location named Kentucky Fried CHICKEN have CHICKEN in their name, be out of chicken?!?!?!?!?!?!? I truly believe that whoever owns this location is intentionally trying to tank it like the Cleveland Indians owner in the Major League movies. Because if they aren't doing it intentionally, this is the saddest excuse of a KFC in the world and the person in charge needs to be sent back to kindergarten to learn the most basic of human skills as this is BY FAR the worst place to try to get food in any form around Northern California. I'm basing this off no rational reason other than the slim odds I ever come into contact with a worse restaurant/place to get food in the surrounding 250 miles. I bought 8 pc meal and hot wings to take home today. After 30 minutes, we started eating the meal. It seems like the 6 of the 8 chicken piece meal and 10 of the 12 piece wings given to me were hard and seems like few hours old. KFC is putting few newly cook pieces on top of the old pieces so it's not obvious they are mixing old and new. Would not recommend to buy there again. read more
