Patrice works here don't bother eating here ! My wife went here after her chemo treatment to get lunch on Sept 9th. The person who took the order who we found out later was Patrice was seriously rude. After getting there food and realizing she had forgotten mash & gravy,Mac & cheese and two chicken sliders my wife and son returned to the drive thru. At the window Patrice after hearing what she forgot said "give me that and snatched the bag from my sons hand. The end result was cold fries two sliders that we suppose to be plain that had spicy sauce on them, which burned my wife's mouth due to her cancer therapy meds. I love giving nice reviews when people have earned it. As an aficionado of the fried bird, I really enjoy KFC's original recipe. Anyway, this one caught me just as I was feeling really hungry and thinking KFC sounds good. It always makes me think of the line from Old School, "Honey, you think KFC's still open?" I went and got a three-piece, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and gravy. Gotta say the coleslaw was awesome! Had a touch of spice to it of some kind that just gave it that kick nice and crunchy and fresh and cold. The biscuit, super fluffy biscuitness. And I have to say the people there just could not have been nicer. It low-key kind of way it wasn't over-the-top, but they were just really cool. I really appreciated the fact that my order came out exactly how I ordered it with everything that I needed, I had my Spork... There is no need to align fast food, there are good ones out there. This is one of them. They filled their role in a way that would make Chick-fil-A proud. That crew was sharp. The restaurant was spotless, and I did not help that! On Sunday September 10th 2023 at approx 230p, had the craziest experience I've ever had at a drive thru at fast food restaurant. I was the only one in line in the drive thru (I NOW SEE WHY LMAO). I make my order at the speaker as normal. I proceed to the window to pay. When I get to the window, I told him I would like to add coleslaw on to my order. He shakes his head no, vigorously. I said that's fine, I understand we cant add it on to this order, but Id like to pay for it separately. He shakes his head no again and says it's against policy. Like bro, I am literally trying to buy food from your establishment right now. Again, no one behind me I could understand if there was. I parked to go in and pay, and the same dude has the audacity to walk over and take my coleslaw order - I hope he could tell I was pissed. Told him he was a jack of all trades . That dude deserves to be fired for being a smart ass- the way he handled it with smugness. Again, I could understand the policy, if there were people behind me. But there was NO ONE. I have no idea who owns this KFC in Rome Ga but, who ever you are you need to either get some customer service training for your employees or fire all of them! Not only do they not smile they are very rude! It is obvious to all that they do not want to be there and your customers are an inconvenience to them!, I am a retired Region manager from Bank of America and I can tell you customer service is the key to a successful business!! I use to go in my branches and get in line with the customers just to see the service they were getting! I have talked to many people in Rome that feel the same way about the terrible service received by these employees! I got half the portion a normal well run kfc gives and the "chicken" on top is all breading no chicken. I also asked for extra gravy... didn't happen. Oh and not to mention I had to go back through the drive through because they gave me a cup full of ice with barely any drink. Sandwich and fries were good, but after being told the soda machine was broken and ordered sweet tea just to be handed hot tea on a hot day because the ice machines were also broken, we had not been told that when ordering. At this point they should have just quit offering drinks and refund the charges for the drink rather than serve hot sweet tea on a 90 plus degree day. read more

Sadly, I remember when this was once a nice place to eat. I went through the terribly slow drive through today, and after listening to the lady mumble through my order, I proceeded slowly to the window. Poor customer service. Drive thru line was long so I decided to go inside. I was the only one waiting in line and I stood there for 4 minutes before someone acknowledged I was there. The lady that served was not apologetic or polite and didn't even smile or made much eye contact. After taking my order she didn't even give me a receipt and just placed my drink cup on the counter and walked away to get my food. After waiting for almost 7 minutes I finally got my food. Unreal. I spend nearly 40 bucks on a real simple order. U asked specifically for hot sauce with my HOT WINGS and bbq sauce for my chicken strips. Neither were in the bag. Hubbs has been craving fried chicken... So a trip to KFC was called for. It was moderately busy when we arrived, 1 register open, 2 groups ahead of us. Then wait wasn't very long, though. The Cashier was efficient; not overly friendly but not unfriendly either. No complaints there. The food was reasonably priced and we chose to dine in. I got the popcorn chicken combo with wedges. He wanted the breast and wing meal, extra crispy. The food arrived promptly and was warm and tasted good. My only real complaint is the temperature of the dining room itself. In the shady portion it was just tolerable. In the sun lit portion it was miserably hot.... Needless to say the shady portion of the dining room was pretty crowded. Perhaps some blinds would help? i had the worst experience. dude was yelling and being rude while taking my order as well as cutting me off repeatedly. at the window nothing changed, still rude and attempted to shove both drinks to me with one hand and ended up dropping the lid off of one of my drinks. after almost dropping both of them he just handed them to me and didn't even have a lid on the second drink. i will not be returning and if you have an attitude that bad about your job then maybe you should get a new one. read more

On Mother's Day, our family was to meet at kfc in rockmart. To our surprise the lobby was closed. At noon on a Sunday and Mother's Day at that. The drive thru was lined around the building and people out in parking lot very upset. This was the start of the worst family gathering in years, so thankyou for that.
