I haven't tried this KFC location before, we picked up an 8-pcs combo to-go because I didn't feel like cooking. The drive-thru was pretty empty, so our order was processed quickly. The drive-thru cashier was courteous and got all our orders correctly. Overall, it was a positive experience.

At first glance, this may seem like another run of the mill KFC. But the service I received today was stellar. The food was tasty, and the price was acceptable. Happy customer.

Is it just me or does everyone else also get micro mutated wings that are always broken? Chicken or maybe pigeon wings? Where does KFC source these grade F wings?

Okay, okay, four stars is probs a little grade inflation-y, but this KFC helped me accomplish my mission of having a delicious fast food lunch. I love cole slaw, and Rei R.'s recent review reminded me that I haven't been to a KFC in at least a decade. (At the KFC/Taco Bell/Pizza Hut combo joints that are so popular in the Midwest, I always go Taco Bell.) I roll up through the drive thru and order myself a large slaw, large diet soda, and a Chicken Little sandwich. The young woman who took my order was super friendly. In no time at all, I received my food. And it was glorious. Best restaurant (or grocery store) slaw I have had in a long time. My time in the ATL notwithstanding, I prefer Pepsi to Coke, and my diet Pepsi was so bubbly fresh. The Chicken Little gave me equally as much pleasure as a Wendy's junior bacon cheeseburger, which is my standard for dollar-ish menu items. Would I want to dine in? Probably not: that's for Raising Cane's, even though their slaw is so sub-par. But next time I need some slaw and a sammie and I'm alone, the Damonte Ranch KFC will be my choice.

The last time I had this was when…read morethere was only one location at the time near the Atlantis Casino, and here they are opened to a couple more locations. It must be that good (yes it is). We ordered the #1 Combo for my toddlers and it made it country style. My husband ordered the #3 Combo spicy level medium, and I ordered the Crazy Fries as mild. It was ridiculously bomb that my husband and I finished everything, except our kiddos (they missed out LOL). The battering is perfect, the spice level that we ask for is being met, their sauces and how they season their fries is sending me. Their chicken meat is very juicy, so like I said how they batter their chicken really compliments how well the chicken tastes and they cook it just right. Service here was friendly and quick. And I can only speak for this location (next to In-N-Out), it was a bummer that they didn't have fountain drinks, but that's ok, still giving this place a good rating. This will definitely be my go-to cheat day food place.

That would be a mistake about Krispy Krunchy Chicken, located INSIDE the 76 station at Mt Rose Hwy and Thomas Creek. We ordered the 4 piece Meal, to give a try. The meal came with dark meat only, with two drumsticks and two (huge) thighs. We ordered the Red Beans and Rice, and the meal came with their sweet biscuit. The chicken pieces were, well, just huge. The chicken was juicy. The skin was rich with flavor and had a crispy snap. Delicious. The chicken must be injected with some "secret recipe" because all the pieces had a reddish tint to the juices inside. I'm all for it. While the chicken was pretty good, the same can't be said about the sides. The Red Beans and Rice, was some kind of beans topped with white rice. This dish certainly did not scream "New Orleans" to me. The Mashed Potatoes and gravy, while generous in portion lacked a level of texture and flavor to be considered good. The biscuit was topped with a honey glaze. I'm sure some with like the sweetness but for me, not the best biscuit (by far) That said, if we are looking for good fried chicken, Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a solid option. I would just pass on the sides.

I do my best to make eating fast food to a minimum- but alas, chicken tenders have their place! The…read morelast time I visited this location was somewhere between 3-5 years ago, and enough has changed to write about it. Food: And this time, it seems that the the Cane's sauce containers have gotten smaller, which really hurts! It sucks when companies charge the same price but decrease the portion sizes. It gets on my nerves a bit more than I'd like to admit. The chicken itself had little flavor, but when dipped in the Cane's sauce, offered the salty and delicious flavor that I remember. Good crisp, and cooked well. Cooked all the way through without being dry. The side fixings were delightful. Texas toast, coleslaw, and fries made up most of our plate. The Texas toast is crispy, buttery, and warm, everything I could ask for really. The fries served here are your traditional crinkle cut. It's not my favorite style of fry, although I appreciate how thinly they're cut, so they get a more even cook. Of course I paired it all with a side of sweet tea. It's as tasty as I remember it being, and the ice is the small and rounded shapes that make it really fun to drink from. Service: We were helped pretty quickly, and able to find a quiet corner of the indoor seating despite it being a busy lunch time around 1 pm on a Friday. At times, it was a bit too busy for my liking around the service counter waiting for our food. Otherwise, we enjoyed our table and hung around for a little bit after finishing our meal. If I'm going out for some chicken tenders nowadays, I think I would rather support local and go to somewhere like Crazy D's. I like the crispiness of their chicken better as well as the flavor. At Cane's, I appreciate the quantity and quality you get for the price, but I'd rather pay more or the same for a better quality chicken tendy!

They were just waiting on the toast. Few moments later the food went to the trash as the other person didnt see the ticket and assumed it was excess from the large varering order. Not sure how she confused that as catering orders are in different containers. When he saw that he told her was that my order. She apologized and he showed her the app order. As the app doesn't show if you upgrade the drinks they have us the normal size drinks. She did give some extra sauce. Hence the second star in this review. For overall the food quality is always consistent. We love the chicken and the canes sauce. I love the tea and always upgrade if we order pickup. We waited another 15 to 20 minutes. As of course this was dying the canes rush hour. The waiting and service confusion is the reason. Why they get a low score. The food and other members are most likely fine. I understand there was another order, but next time confirm with your team before scrapping food and the ticket. Im still confused on the entire incident. Can't do anything about it. Also if you have a complaint. The email receipt says to complain to the store that serviced you. I dont see how they can help if they lost our ticket order. How can you trust it. So if you want canes. Don't order ahead. Just go in person. Some reason you dont have order issues. If you do, typically someone corrects it. I thi k she was trying her best. Just frustrating. Still go and support. They are an awesome team. There are just some off days. We will still go and enjoy as long as this doesn't happen again. They seem to forget something all the time. Anotherni cident prior to this is one kiddo got a toy and the other didnt. So check your to go meals. I didnt for this instant it was my fault. We were running late to the kids school lunch day eith family. I had a meeting go a little over and needed to make sure we made it within the window. Luckily. Our little.one didn't get jealous the other one got a toy. Also its super busy here and gets loud on Fridays and the weekends. The cars also wrap around the parking lot. So dont park closest to the building. You may never get out.
