Terrible. Mobile order placed at 7:09 according to time on my receipt. App tracking said it was ready at 7:15. We arrived at about 7:20, went to go inside to pick up at the pick up area and the door was locked, even though sign on door states the door is not to be locked during business hours. They said pick up thru the drive thru. Lady in vehicle parked next to us had been waiting an hour. We went through the drive thru, they said to park and they'd bring it out. 5 more customers went through the drive thru after us and left with their orders. We went thru the drive thru again, we were told that the people ordering at the drive through get served first. Finally got our order, went home, and guess what? The order was not right. I'll be reaching out to Customer Service at the 1-800#. The staff was very very rude. I hope Customer Service can help, because this place is sorely lacking. read more

They only had the drive thru register opened and no one working the the front to service customers as they walk in. I do not understand how they only have 3 people working on a Sunday evening. We recently made an order here through the app, so when it was time to go pick it up. Which was 30 minutes later. Pulled into the drive thru only to be told they had no extra biscuits, don't make a certain item past said hour (which Isnt stated on the app), and they couldn't complete the order due to lack of chicken. This would have been fine if they never accepted the order in the first place. Then we were told that WE had to call and cancel the order ourselves which brought a whole other inconvenience. But if you're looking for some chicken there is another KFC down on Pleasant Run. Because this location either never has anything or they accept orders they cannot cancel or fulfill. Like i said this wouldn't have been an issue if we were informed within a timely manner. But waiting till we get there to tell us our order isn't fulfilled and we have to cancel it???? This KFC is horrible 2 days in a row going roughly a hour before they are scheduled to close and they refuse to make tenders saying they are out of tenders for the night and that they close in 10 minutes. I said online and on your door it says you open for another hour and your saying your not making anymore tenders for the night. The guy gets rude and says what can I get you- no thank you I'm good. Had a very pleasant experience. The food was hot and fresh. The only downside was we asked for two chicken sandwiches and they only had one chicken breast left. Cashier was very polite The chicken sandwich they have is absolutely a great sandwich and the new french fries are so much better than the old ones. read more

Very disappointed in the service at the KFC in Red Oak. I arrived around 8 pm to order the original chicken sandwich meal and a 24 piece hot wing. I was told after a couple of minutes that no more chicken sandwiches could made because there was no meat available to make any more sandwiches for the night. So, I continued with my order of hot wings, a large fry and 2 biscuits. I paid (in cash) and waited for about 30 minutes for my order. Once I got home and removed everything from the sack, I discovered that 6 wings were missing. So I bagged everything back up, drove back through the drive through, and explained the dilemma to the manager. The saddest part was having to request for everything to be remade fresh since there's at LEAST a 20 minute wait on wings. Unfortunately, the wait turned into another 40 minutes and counting. It truly is sad. I've lived in Red Oak since 2007, but I'm forced to patronize restaurants in DeSoto, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, and Waxahachie because the customer service at Red Oak restaurants average around horrible. The evening shift assistant manager at KFC is clearly over her head and has been given a title that she doesn't appear qualified to have. Conclusion- I requested for a refund after having to go back through the drive through window, knock on the window, get someone's attention, and request that my cash be returned back to me since the entire staff forgot that I was waiting outside in the parking lot. The assistant manager then informed me that KFC's system would NOT allow a cash refund so I would have to return back to the restaurant the next day to receive a refund from the GM. I was floored and almost lost it. So, I would suggest for anyone to do themselves a favor, don't bother patronizing this place. read more

first of all when you get there they sound so depressing when they talk then when I asked for the brownie they started laughing at me and it personally made me feel bad about my weight. when I get up there, there is no smile or anything. they just stare and laugh at you. I went to the restaurant at 6:40pm and was told by the manager that there was no more crispy chicken. After leaving the restaurant in disbelief that they had ran out of crispy chicken, I called back to confirm what was told to me. The manager answered and said I thought you wanted only dark crispy meat. She never offered the option of crispy in white meat and original in dark meat. This manager at this restaurant was not concerned whatsover in just meeting the very simplified needs of her customers. This was by far the most worst fast food experience I've ever had Just simply because I was the ONLY patron in the drive thru. It wasnt a rush of patrons. To spend just a moment to try to meet the needs of the customer would have gone a long way! They seemed to not care to have any business which is a shame! read more

Upon entering this new KFC establishment, I was impressed with the brightness of the new facility. However that delight was quickly extinguished by the woman behind the counter, Patricia. My Aunt and I were in good spirits and by the time we left we were exhausted and frustrated. Patricia was rude and impatient. We were not properly greeted (not at all) and she seemed to rather be anywhere else than behind the counter. The order was wrong (missing items) and when I proceeded to show her the error, she snatched the receipt from my hands. When I went to show her the second error, I could feel her anger oozing from her body. It took everything in me to refrain from asking for a manager or from checking this old woman, as I try to respect my elders in all situations. It would be in the best interest of the company for her to remain in the kitchen and perhaps not interact with customers as all of her angst and foulness were on full display. I tried not to assume that she was racist (she is white and we are Black) but with everything going on, I couldn't help but wonder. I also understand that there is only so much expressing one can do with a mask on but trust and believe, the foulness radiating from her was expressed through her eyes, body language, and bad attitude. Lightning fast service, by far the fastest drive thru I've ever been in at a KFC. Food was good, but the service, smiling faces and food quality seemed to come at a cost of production quality. Chicken bucket top was broken and the container for the gravy was not secured and spilled a little on me and my car, but luckily it doesn't stain. Overall, make sure to handle your food with care in the car. read more
