Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is small. I don't like coming to this KFC in particular too because of its small parking lot. Parking spaces are tight too. I always find it funny how Roscoe's Chicken is located right next to it. The competition must be fierce. Food: I ordered the popcorn chicken. It features bite-sized white meat chicken nuggets with a seasoned, extra crispy breading. The chicken had a relatively thick coat of batter on each piece, but it wasn't very crispy and I definitely wouldn't call it "extra crispy." I did notice that the chicken-less batter pieces were the crunchiest, but the bigger pieces tended to be mostly soft. Taste wise, it was bomb. Lots of spices and flavors from each popcorn chicken. Overall, the outstanding parts were the chicken being not oily but rather moist and tender. The fries having a uniquely "sticky" and starchy feel. However, both the chicken and the fries were quite salty. The salt doesn't stop there, though, since the buns were burnt on the inside. The mac and cheese tasted like fairly plain airplane food, and the mashed potatoes were tasteless without gravy. Management and staff - you should read this thoroughly. I don't know what happened to the chicken in my order that I picked up from this location around noon to make it so bad, but something wasn't done correctly. My suspicions are at least one of the following: 1) Chicken was reheated from what was left over last night 2) Chicken was cooked very early this morning and left under a heatlamp for hours and hours 3) The chicken itself was out of date and should have perhaps been thrown out instead of cooking it. I didn't get sick from it. But the texture and flavor are both very off. I arrived exactly at my pick-up time so my order should not have been sitting for more than a few minutes. I was home within 10 minutes (no more than that from the time of my pick-up). Removed the chicken from the container and was eating it within a total of 15-20 after pick-up. BLECH!!! Definitely one of the most substandard KFC meals I've ever purchased from any location. I love to give positive reviews. Can't do that this time. read more

On 8/7/2022 at approximately 3pm I went to the drive-thru on a hot 103° day. When I finally got to the intercom to order my food I was waiting there for 5minutes until someone finally said something. I said I wanted to order two popcorn chicken bowls without the drinks and asked if I could do that. The lady on the intercom told me to hold on. I waited for another 5minutes and said hello is someone there, the lady on the intercom proceeded to say, "Wait we will get to you". I then told her I have been waiting for 10minutes in the heat and she proceeded to get agitated with me and told me I had to wait again, then her fellow employee on the intercom chimed in and said, "You need to wait until we are ready". I felt they were now punishing me and deliberately making me wait even longer in the blistering heat. I could not wait in the direct heat any longer and was afraid of heat stroke so I pulled up to the window where there was shade and told them I could no longer wait in the direct heat at the intercom, and the lady said she could not take my order at the window and I would have to go back in line and wait again or park on the street and order in the store. I asked her why I couldn't just order at the window since no one was taking my order at the intercom and she said I could not. I then asked for her manager and she said she was in charge that day and closed the window on me. Needless to say I am never going back to that KFC, where there are rude, and unprofessional employees. I ended up going to a different KFC where the employees were nice and professional. I would suggest management needs to address the issues with the employees at the first location and teach them not to be rude and unprofessional when dealing with customers. read more

I ordered the special and wanted all original recipe but they only had 5 pieces. They offered me 5 extra crispy. They rushed my order and didn't offer me the opportunity to wait for fresh original recipe chicken. Keep in mind I was the only person in line. Unfortunately they didn't have the bacon to complete the project because supposedly they didn't have the promotion (yet). Sooooo I tried it regardless and I didn't like it. My wife did like it better though. I guess I was underwhemed. I am not a big fan of white chicken meat and they were stingy with their secret sauce. I've never regretted a meal more. Yeah, the food was still ok. But the atmosphere soured the food. I don't know what's happening behind the scenes, but every worker there looks like they hate their life. I couldn't look the cashier in the eye. I was terrified of him! Didn't help that he didn't greet me, but at least he warned me that my chicken sandwich was fresh out of the fryer so that I didn't burn myself. He might be a nice person outside of work. This establishment was so small that I got to watch them pull out my boyfriend's and my food (aside from my zinger burger, which was really plain and not worth the 6 dollar price, even with the included fries and cookie and drink) from a set of trays in a heater. Makes you wonder why the food is good because it was obviously cooked hours ago. My boyfriend's meal was ready immediately. It cost 10 bucks for some popcorn chicken, tenders, a biscuit, two sides (we didn't eat the sides because the gravy tasted off). All of that served on a paper/plastic/foam plate. My meal was 6 dollars, but at least I know they made my chicken fresh. Fries weren't fresh, as I watched the guy pick out the best looking pieces from the tray in the heating thing. The cookie most definitely was made either in the morning or the day before as well. You can get better from somewhere like Pueblos Tacos. I wish I had chosen to eat there instead of this location. Honestly. For the 18 bucks I spent, I could've had a feast. But instead I just had a small meal with the only leftovers being regret. EDIT: Forgot to mention that the restaurant was incredibly dirty. I went to this KFC and ordered a 4-piece combo which, according to the KFC website comes with a breast, thigh, wing, and leg. When I placed my order the person taking it told me that the 4 piece combo comes with two legs and two tights. I asked when the menu changed since I am used to having the 4 pieces described on the KFC website. I have major issues with KFC, not just this location...all of them. I cannot like their chicken for shit! My hubby and I were in the car and I noticed a sign that said "Kentucky Grilled Chicken." I made the mistake of asking what that was all about...I shouldn't have! Of course, he wants to stop and try it...knowing that I don't like KFC! Ugh, men, right? Apparently im one of the "wankers" that got the Oprah free meal ticket drove down to this crappy ass establishment in an attempt to get a free meal. Got up to the counter with my little coupon and the the lady at the counter immedietley, without saying "how are you, or how can I help you" handed me a paper stating "Due to the overwhelming demand for FREE KFC meal we're unable to offer it to you today...yada yada...fill out this form and attach the coupon and mail it in...rain check...free pepsi next time." Hahaha WTF! SO I asked her, it says come into the store and get a free meal and the dumb ass said, "Yeah you can get that at cooporate, this is a franchise" WHAT? Ok, so im supposed to find a cooporate building to get me some free chicken? She then said that I should mail the paper she gave me and that they would send me a coupon in the mail within 3-4 weeks... HAHAHAHAHA! F- that... Seriously, why the heck would I send in a coupon, wait 3-4 weeks for a 5 dollar meal? Im not that desparate nor that poor. Is it me, or are all KFC's located in shady places? Throughout SoCal, I've seen at least 1 hooker and crackhead (sometimes one in the same) at all the KFCs I've been to. Except this one - though I've only ventured here during the day. This particular location is north of the 210 fwy, and I tend to stay away north of the 210 during the weekday when I'm in business attire - as people have that "what are you doing here, and give me your expensive watch" look. I've been coming here lately as they have a $2.99 bowl combo meal which is awesome. My way around the looks is to only come here when I'm dressed casual - which is Fridays or days when there are no clients coming in. -1 stars for being above the 210. read more

One night after work I was craving some KFC (very rare). I should have just ignored this, because coming to this KFC was the worst mistake ever. I'll get right to the point, they served me room temperature food! Not only is it unappealing but is also a health risk. Who knows how long the food had been sitting out? What worries me is that if they had such little regard to the storage of already prepared food, what regard do they have for the preparation of raw food? My guess is NONE. I will agree with the 2 main comments many other reviewers said about this particular KFC location and the food/company in general; 1 I am a fan of KFC food. 2 this particular location is staffed by idiots that don't give a sh*t about customer service. How the hell do you forget a whole meal!? I have been coming to this location for years. Quick and easy food to feed more than 3 people for dinner meals. But about 1 month ago, I use the drivethru for a quick lunch. I live in Pasadena but work in Alhambra. So got lunch then went to work. I ordered the new Nashville chicken, tastes great by the way. I changed the order up just a little. 3 piece Nashville meal, with potato wedges. The second meal just a regular grilled meal with a side and extra corn on the cob. When I got my bag, I saw 2 meal trays and 1 side tray. So, I just thought 2 trays equals 2 meals, the wedges in one box and the corn in the other. And the 1 side tray is the usual mash and gravy side. I didn't have time to check, since going to work, and how hard would it be to get 2 meals together. Big mistake. Get to work, and they had put just 1 piece of chicken in the one tray, and 2 in the other, getting me the 3 piece I ordered. But that was it! The side was the mash and gravy side, but that's it! No wedges and no corn! And no biscuits. So ofcourse I called them and told them the problem. NOW, HERE IS WHERE IT GETS WORSE FOR THESE MORONS. As I'm talking to them and telling them HOW THEY MESSED UP, someone in the background says, "Just hang up!" Now, the person I talked to said they were some type of manager and if I go back they will refund me the money. So after work I did. I took names over the phone and wrote them on the receipt. Honestly, if I didn't do that, and went back without them, I have a feeling they would have said I lied. But, I did talk to the same person when I went back and they did refund me some of the money. Only the price of the missing meal, BUT not for the extra wedges and corn, and taxes I paid for in the total. So I just got back $5.99. Ofcourse I wasn't expecting the whole amount to be paid back, but at this point I just didn't care anymore. And by coincidence, just last week, Business Insider wrote a whole column about the problems with KFC, "KFC is fixing a major mistake.." Here is just one quote from the article, "Effective immediately, if customers aren't satisfied with their KFC order, the restaurant will remake whatever aspect of their meal fell short. The chain has rolled out an extensive "chicken mastery certification" program, spending more than 100,000 hours retraining more than 20,000 employees." I suggest reading this whole article. I hope for the company that this new strategy works. Or, just go 1 block away to Popeyes, which I have been doing. Or, just get rid of the jerks at this location. read more
