Not a place for a quick meal they are too slow I was the 3rd car had to wait 15 minutes after paying for meal was told to stay at the first window, so I wouldn't be on their "clock" JUST TO SLOW. The customer service was good. The driveway need repaving I darn near though my car was in a sink hole. The cook and cashier reassured me that the new beyond chicken was fried in a separate bin from the traditional chicken. The beyond chicken is an option for vegans and vegetarians or those who want to take a break from actual animal products. Lastly I wish my order was correct, but the person whose food was in correct was ok with the error. read more

Employees so lazy they can't hardly move .not customer friendly. Sounds like there having a party. Lady taking orders had smart mouth you could hear all over restaurant read more

This store is absolutely horrible. It's got the worst customer service they don't even act like you're you exist when you come in then they close whenever they want to have the time and I have doordash orders to pick up and I can't because they're closed I hate the store and I'll never come back to it. The employees are so rude and just nasty looking I wouldn't want them touching my food so beware if you decide to come here and eat I would suggest you think twice. read more

Please shut this place down! Literally want to call the health department on this place bc it's so filthy, No one is wearing gloves are a hairnet. The employees are taking personal calls on cell phones while holding your food. They take your money, then pull you around to make you wait 45 mins for cold undercooked food! They refuse to answer the actual business phone but absolutely will answer their personal cell phones. Management is a joke, literally looks like she crawled out of bed and just came to work. As do the employees! Wearing aprons while outside smoking and doing the trash. It's clear no one cares about food safety or their jobs at this location. It's also clear the owners/operations don't care either bc how do you have this low of a yelp score, google score and still no changes made. Reading these reviews it's very obvious where the problems are bc they are consistently complaining about the same things yet nothing ever changes. Im embarrassed for you at this point. I encourage everyone who walks in and notices how nasty this place is, or sees the employees smoking/taking trash out with an apron on to call the health department every single time. They are walking right back in and touching your food without washing hands and with those germs on the apron still. It's called cross contamination! This place doesn't deserve your money and it doesn't deserve to remain open. Call the health department and make a complaint with corporate. Yes it's a franchise but corporate will absolutely take your complaint and after so many complaints will move in and deal with it as their name is attached to the franchise. I wouldn't even rate them a 1 star! Will absolutely be calling the health department read more

Terrible !!! Second time here and the same terrible service !!! I'm not sure how they are even in business Don't acknowledge customer basically ignore customer inside dining area. I even tried to get their attention and still no response !!! This store needs a real manager to get this place in order !!! Customer Service is Everything and this place has NONE !!! read more

Waited 10 minutes for anyone to even come to the register. Waited another 15 minutes to get our food, which was dry and hardly seasoned. Would not recommend coming here. read more

KFC - Nuggets Combo - Fast Food Near Me - Oakland, Tennessee

I went the place is way better than it was so great job to new management I waited but I prefer to wait for fresh chicken anytime because yall was busy Tuesday with that great deal read more

The chicken is great very well seasoned sides a tad bit cold but overall the colonel would be proud.

I have to co sign on the reviews others have made-run don't walk from this location. I just had a taste for a piece of fried chicken. I should have went to the gas station up the street. Old grease, hard biscuits, waiting to long in line. I'm surprised people still go here unless they are going for taco bell, although the day I went they said they weren't serving taco bell. read more

I was visiting family when my niece and I visited this restaurant. It was absolutely horrible! The mashed potatoes were disgusting, I have no idea what they put in them but they were not kfc mashed potatoes! The chicken had been fried in old grease and overcooked. The biscuits were so hard they could have broken my windshield! Needless to say it all went into the garbage and we had to go somewhere else! No I didn't go back because I was traveling and didn't have time. But my family lives close to there so I will not be back to kfc in Oakland! read more

The lobby is always closed. We are way past using the pandemic as an excuse for not staffing properly. If you want to eat sitting in your car go to the SONIC where they actually have good service and happy employees. read more

disgusting chicken the place is filthy in the back where they cook the food, I got eight piece meal. The chicken was terrible.

We had the best experience yesterday just going through the take out for a bucket of chicken. From the sweet, personable lady who took our order, the kind young girl at the register and the amazing manager that went above and beyond to make sure our order and our experience was exceptional! The food was amazing as KFC always is but the service was the best we've ever experienced at a KFC...and all this in the middle of the pandemic! You have made us a customer again! read more

Had the worse experience. You can taste the old frying oil on the chicken. Bathrooms, as you can see in the photo in dirty and in very deteriorating conditions. Don't take your family here to eat. read more

The food was hot and ready when I picked up my mobile order. The staff was friendly and quickly greeted me. When I arrived home, the food was correct with all utensils and condiments that I requested. This was one of the best visits I've had with them. Way to go! read more

THE SLOWEST RESTAURANT EVER!!! So I paid a visit to my local KFC-Taco Bell today and decided to go in even though there were no cars in the Drive thru. When I got inside there were only 2 other people ahead of me and they had already placed orders for food. So at 3:44pm I ordered a small coleslaw and an apple pie.... instead of making the customer the priority and getting food orders together some of the workers (and i use that term loosely) seem to be doing everything but that! The two customers in front of me finally received their food and exited... Five minutes past (where is my order) Ten minutes past (still nothing) But what is this I see... the drive thru has customers now and is moving along. Meanwhile, about four of the seven workers are gathering and talking to one of the other workers Dad (he walked in and didn't even have to place an order and got a free drink) I didn't know that KFC had a VIP service. So now I look at my receipt and notice the time on it 3:44pm... so I ask the worker who initially took my order what time is it and she stated "I don't know". The customer behind me says about 2 minutes till 4:00!!! I tell the worker (I only order two things slaw and an apple pie... what's the hold up). She didn't even remember me ordering the food. So she gives my receipt to the manger and she seems to be clueless as to why it has taken sooo long for me to get my order (here's a hint... STOP KNUCKLE DRAGGING AND DO YOUR JOB!) Anyway I finally get my order at 3:59pm after waiting far far far too long!!! My overall rating of this restaurant is ZERO STARS for the following reasons: *BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE *LACK OF EMPLOYEE PROFESSIONALISM *LACK OF MANAGEMENT LEADERSHIP *CLEANLINESS OF RESTAURANT (FLIES) *FAILURE TO TAKE OWNERSHIP This restaurant needs to close down, retrain the staff, hire new staff, and get it together!!! This restaurant is always slow, but today was just the breaking point... very unprofessional. read more

KFC - I waited from 3:44pm - 3:59pm for two items! - Fast Food Near Me - Oakland, Tennessee

Absolutely terrible, we waited in the drive through for an HOUR to get our order that was placed ONLINE. We couldn't go inside and they wouldn't bring it out so we have had to sit in the line waiting for food that was ordered an hour ago. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Seriously, if you're gonna do "cash only" then put a sign up so people aren't waiting twenty minutes after they've ordered just to find out at the pay window. This screams "I'm doing drug deals from the pay window" type mess! Cash only during a pandemic at that!! Get it together! read more

Ridiculous! Was told no employees for the taco bell side so they weren't serving tacos! This is insane. If you're reading this and you own this location. . . SELL IT! It's obvious you can't control it. Sell it to someone who will care! read more

This place never has been run properly. Tonight for example. We waited in a 15 minute line just to get to order, only to be told that there is no Taco Bell available tonight at the KFC/Taco Bell. How can half of their entire menu be unavailable? My best guess is that they are too lazy to make it and it shows. They can't even be bothered to put a sign up letting you know before you wait to place your order. Insane. This place should be closed. read more

Not the cleanest KFC I've ever been in. The food is standard to other KFC's. But the floors are usually gross! Customer service isn't bad but it's not impressive. read more

This place is horrible with customer service and urgency. I was in the drive thru line for about 20 mins then I tried to go into the lobby at 6:30 and the doors were locked read more

Took 40 minutes. Do not come here. Straight garbage service. Don't want to keep talking about it but it's making me so that I can post it.

We have tried to order from here several times & they are out of Chicken. How can u be out of chicken every time & stay in business? Ridiculous & horrible customer service when we wanted a refund. Will never go here again-wish I could give zero stars read more

So slow!! I placed my order at the drive-thru 22 minutes ago...and I still haven't reached the window to get it! Why is this place always so incredibly slow! read more

This place is an absolute joke. I don't know if the food is any good cause we never got any. There were four cars in front of us and each car took over five minutes. When it got to us they never took our order. We waited over twenty five minutes. I timed it. I finally sent the wife to knock on the window and see WTF was happening. Long story short. They had five people on duty and no one who knew how to work the window. And had no idea if they would get back to the drive through again. Who ever is managing this place should fired and then tarred and feathered. Never will I go here again. read more

If this KFC tells me one more time they are out of chicken me and the Colonel himself are going to have a problem. I ask when will you have more chicken, and they answer first thing in the morning. It's not that they were out of chicken they were just done making chicken for the night! It was 7pm. They still had 3 more hours to go. This happens way too often at this location. They also lock the drive thru window and doors when they get overwhelmed. I've had to call the corporate office on this KFC way too many times. They should have new management and all new employees. Instead there are employees that are inconvenienced that you are there and they have to get up from sitting in a booth to take your order. They are too lazy to make more chicken after a certain time, that they are making McDonalds ice cream machine look good. Not to mention that they are extremely rude and unprofessional. Just make the drive to Memphis to Gus's because it will take you the same amount of time waiting in the drive thru line to hear they are out of chicken. read more

I have to keep reminding myself: not every fast food restaurant is as good as Chick-Fil-A. Or mcDonalds. Or Wendy's. Or Burger King. Or EVERY OTHER fast food restaurant you can think of. Is it all KFCs - or is it the one in Oakland which is firmly stuck at the end of the pack? I roll in to the drive thru and order my Pot Pie Fill Up. Which is supposed to come with a medium drink, cookie and the main event - the pot pie. "What do you want to drink?" dude says. Dr Pepper, says I. "We don't have Dr Pepper," he says in a slightly irritated voice. Not 'we're out' - "we don't have" it. My answer was courteous, but pointed. "Why is it all over your menu board?" Junior didn't shout, but he did raise his voice. "WE DON'T HAVE IT!" I gave up, ordered Sierra Mist (I detest Pepsi) and drove to the first window. The young lady who waited on me there was obviously not Mr. Crappy Attitude and I decided to ask the question again. "No, sir. We don't have Dr. Pepper at all." I then showed her the picture of the menu board I'd snapped - with several 'Dr Pepper' labeled cups placed beside entrees. She was dumbfounded. "THAT must be why everyone keeps asking for it, then." I smiled and said, "Yeah. Someone needs to fix that. I'd bad for customer satisfaction." I then moved to the pickup window and who is there? That's right. Mr. A**hat himself with the attitude that the customer is apparently NEVER right. I took my food (without checking the contents) and held my cell phone screen up and said, "THIS is a picture of your menu board and THIS is why folks keep trying to order Dr Pepper." And the attitude came back again - still not shouting, but clearly pissed off at me. "AND WE DON'T HAVE IT!!" I drove off with my food and my Not Dr Pepper. Only after I pulled over to eat my food (nowhere near home) did I see that my 'Fill Up' had no plastic Ware with which to eat the damn pot pie. Ahhhh ... but I'm ready for this: after dealing with morons who leave the obvious out at other places, I pull out my standby plastic fork and spoon. And then I noticed ... no cookie. I suppose they don't "HAVE THOSE," either. All I know at this point is when KFC / Taco Bell I. Oakland will get my business again. When.Hell.Freezes.Over. Hard. read more

Where do I even start? 25 minute wait in drive through, timed it. Didn't get order right, overcharged me. Wow.

Horrendous - employees handing out free food, order incorrect and not saying 1 time - 3rd time and employees leaving for a "break" to smoke outside leaving one left to manage it all and a line of 6 people. read more
